My 3rd review of Chapman's in Angola. My reviews have gone from terrible to awesome and now??? Back to terrible! And it has nothing to do with their beer. They have great beer!! I love the brews! This is based solely on the cleanliness of the business! They have not dusted anything in what looks to be weeks! Evidently so many people visit and wash their hands that not one but TWO trash cans were full in the men's restroom. Apparently there is no Windex to clean the mirrors in the city of Angola. The brown pads on the 2 Swiffer mops are obviously keeping this place spotless! On....and on...and on. Too bad because, like I said, the beers are good! read more

Loved that they have an outdoor patio that is dog friendly! My husband went in and sent me a pic of the menu. It said mimosa so I happily ordered one since I saw they had wine and cider too. To my surprise-it was a beer mimosa and not what I was expecting. It did not say that on the pic I got, but I drank it anyways. My husband enjoyed his beer and they even gave us a bowl of water for our dog. It looked like a great place to hang out inside as well! It looks they have room outside to possibly fence in an area as a mini dog park. A great stop on our camping trip! read more

What a cool hidden brewing gem. Off the beaten path in Angola in a industrial park lies this brewery. While we here we got a flight of brews to sample the awesome beers. We got to meet the master brewer who was in the tasting g room. I liked the undaunted single ipa. Kim liked the harvester blond ale. This is a great place to sample some great beers and get some to go. The kitchen with be open soon. read more

What a hidden gem! The beer at Chapman's is a solid win. No food happening there, but the beer is stellar so who cares! Plus, you can order food for delivery to the taproom. I'm just upset that I can't get any in the Chicago area. Can't say enough about the great beer! read more

Chapman's has been stepping up their game. They've always had good beer, but they keep improving on the details. The head bartender is easy to talk with and always willing to let you sample the offerings before you order a mug. And speaking of the offerings, the brewer is what I would consider one of the best. The core beers are consistent quality from batch to batch, and the special release beers are mix from little known classic german purity beers to the latest trendy juicy IPA's(and literally everything in between). Keep improving guys, it's working. read more

Great little place, very comfortable setting with a decent selection. My favorite so far is Undaunted. Very personable staff, we arrived early in the afternoon so David sat and chatted with us awhile. He definitely knows his beer. We will definitely be back, this is probably going to be our regular spot in Angola. read more

Very nice brewery to visit. Friendly bartender and good beer. Seemed a bit small inside, but I enjoyed the intimacy

Nice little place to hang out. Not a ton of beers on tap but a fun atmosphere. They have a lot of live music nights and other fun things planned. Unfortunately they don't allow anyone under 21 in the place but that's pretty usual for Indiana. You can see the beer production facilities through the windows while you hang out in the tasting room. read more

So bummed by our visit here! My husband and I had heard all the way up in MI how good this brewery was. We were staying in Ft. Wayne on an extended weekend vacation and planned on stopping in at the newly opened taproom there. However the morning we were going to stop, July 3rd, I saw on their Facebook that they were closed for a final inspection. No worries! We planned on stopping by the Angola taproom as we were going to be passing through right around 2pm, just as it opened. We drove in the driveway at 1:57, waited for a few minutes, got out of the car at 2:01, walked up to the door, only to find out from a sign on the door that they were going to be closed for renovations on July 3rd and 4th. Ugh. We left and drove home from there. I absolutely understand renovations happen. I do. However wouldn't it be nice to maybe add that to a Facebook page or the website? We drove here specially and planned out our drive around stopping at Chapman's. Also, as just a side note - the hours on the Facebook page and the website are different. Might want to fix that as it caused us quite a bit of confusion when planning out which taproom to stop at. Hope to return again and hope to have a better experience. read more

Really nice staff, great beer. My only criticism is they charged me $35 for a to go six pack. I Found out later that the beer store sells the same thing $9.99 a 4 pack. I could have saved $20 had I known. live and learn. read more

Went t Angola, IN t see some antique stores... scheduled all our stops night before for wine and brews...stopped at a couple wineries... hit the antique shops.... then headed t Chapman's brewery on industrial drive... website said open 2 t 8.... stopped by t a sign on the door that said "Closed for remodel". 3 other cars pulled in and out while we were there, all had out of state plates...walked in, door was unlocked, turned on lights no one there... sent message on website, response said we were at wrong place.... we were not at wrong place... guess there are some cleanliness issues at another taproom in Fort Wayne.... came back t Columbia city taproom for some blueberry blonde...... they said the blueberry blonde wasn't any good... only had 2 kegs, first was good, second too watered down....again text from website said sorry..... never again!!!! This is what gives good hard working breweries a bad name!!!! These idiots have no respect for new customers..... never again!!!! read more

I am from the Mid-Michigan area. We camp a lot at Pokagon State Park so it was pretty cool when I discovered Angola had a brewery. I bought a lifetime membership for $65 because as I said we come to Pokagon a lot. Great beer and very cheap with the membership. Beer is a good deal without the membership. I refill growlers and drink very good draft beer all the time I'm camping. Love it:) read more

Awesome little tap room right in the brewery. Excellent beer and the server was wonderful. She gave us lots of recommendations on other local spots to check out as we were just in the area for the weekend. If I'm ever back in Angola I'll be back to Chapman's. read more
