It has been over forty years since I was in an automobile accident. Recently I was the unfortunate recipient of a wheel-off from another vehicle. The other individuals loose wheel caused massive damage to the front left portion of my Subaru. Recently my husband hit a deer and damaged the front of his newer vehicle and we needed repairs. After being in the shop for 4 weeks due to waiting on a headlight I finally received my car back with Amazon ordered parts due to our jeep headlight being back ordered. Once I drove away I noticed a unusual piercing noise from under the car. I brought it in the after the weekend the following week and come to find out they admitted that they did not tighten one of the bolts underneath the vehicle. Not only was this dangerous but I was livid since I was in my car thinking the vehicle was 100% safe with my two little girls. Frightening to say the least and unacceptable. The woman Summer who was handling my claim was apologetic however the neglect of properly servicing my vehicle was the main issue. Then once I received my car a second time right away a message displayed service shifter populated. I then called and had to bring my vehicle down once more. As I've seen in other posts it's seems like once you actually get your vehicle back after weeks there is yet more problems with the car itself. I am truly disappointed with the inaccuracy and inconsistency with double checking the services work. I've had to call/communicate and go down over four visits which is time consuming especially with young kids. I would've expected this to be done right the first time. Ultimately the customer service is decent and they do try to correct their mistakes, however the servicing with the vehicle in this business is poor and needs great improvement. I hope other customers have a better experience all around. read more

Worst body shop I have experienced. Do not return calls for weeks. They have ignored the insurance company calls and the customers. Jeff was one of the rudest advisors I have seen. You ask for an eta and he says, "I'll get to it when I can and hangs up. Will never come here again or Auburn Toyota as long as Jeff is employed. You know it's bad when they are a preferred Geico repair facility and the supervisor at Geico tells you to take your car somewhere else because they can't pick up or return a call. I just had one of the best repair experiences ever! From beginning to end, my entire experience was customer friendly, efficient, and timely. I was treated with politeness and curtesy throughout the entire experience. I was referred to Auburn Collision Center for an evaluation after hitting a large metal object on the freeway and had a severe rattling in my undercarriage. I was greeted with respect and kindness from Charles Atkinson, I was told they could order the parts and give me an estimate, which they did very timely. I was able to get in; get my car repaired (even took a test drive prior to paying to see how it sounded); and was out of there in no time! I was completely blown away with such a proficient and businesslike treatment along with friendly customer service and kindness. I recently got body work done here, insurance recommended them and didn't find any bad reviews here. I'm a car enthusiast with a sports car, I told them I was meticulous about the care my car has. At pickup I wasn't happy with the paint job, it has dust specks in it and they straight MISSED one section. I told the service manager and he agreed it was crap work and he would fix it if needed... I didn't want to leave my car with them so I declined and will handle getting a better paint job through another body shop. After inspecting their work closer at home I found one trip piece that was loose because they didn't put it back together properly (missing a screw). For 90% of the cars out there they will do a good job; but if you have a luxury car, sports car, any car that you care about find another shop. read more

This business has no integrity. My car was in the shop for over 7 weeks after refusing twice to take it home. They have lots of excuses why they did not repair the vehicle. These reviews are SHOCKING! I give all stars because we were in an accident and the tow truck driver and the officer that helped in our accident recommended this place. We were kind of iffy about sending our Honda to a unknown collision place but the recommendations, we couldn't pass up. We called the next morning and they had already checked the car out and told us the damages. A guy name Nate was our go to guy for the car and he was nothing but helpful and nice. We had $4,800 in damages from paint all the way to the radiator. Nate promised to get the car done in a week and kept his word. He let us know every step of the way with good info. about our car. I have taken my vehicle to this place more than once, my mistake! Should have learned the first time...even the second. They are absolutely horrible with returning phone calls and staying in touch while your vehicle is there. They say one day tops, two weeks later, my car was still there. I had to keep calling and calling to get any information out of them as no one returned my calls. Not only that, every time my car came back there was something still wrong or something else was damaged. I cringed at the thought of taking it back to them but it was already being ran through my insurance. The last time I took it there will definitely be the LAST! Everyone is friendly enough but the quickness, communication, and quality of work is lacking. It appears a lot of the other reviews pretty much have the same issues. read more

I had my 97 tacoma worked on last year after i hit a deer, turned out to be a nightmare. They could not get the paint right, after many attempts, they still could not get it right. They blamed the old paint, i never had this issue with my other cars before. As time rolls on the paint shows signs of fading and the mismatch color stands out more, which leads to question the quality of the paints they used, never again. My son hit a woman's Honda Accord with a pit bike. Her passenger side door was damaged. Her insurance is charging my son with the damage. After reviewing the insurance photos, I realized that this company threw in some unrelated rear bumper damage. The damage was done by the woman, not my son. The damage was so small that a bumper doctor would have fixed it in less than an hour. These guys completely disassembled the rear end to repair and charged the insurance company over $1800.00, which in turn came to me. They also threw in some unrelated front bumper "damage". So unethical. What would cost $100.00 max turned into a huge repair bill. Matthew Flores was the service writer. Regardless of who pays, it is wrong to make a mountain out of a molehill for your companies income and your own personal commission. Can't comment on the quality of the repair. Didn't see it. I will be filing a complaint with the local BBB and BAR and will include the photos and cost run down. Our vehicle had a decent amount of damage from a collision, but the repairs have cost about $4000 more than we anticipated. Auburn Collision center has reamed our insurance company. They replaced damaged parts with noticeably used parts and charged the same price as new parts would cost. The repairs should have been complete within a few weeks (what they originally told us), but get this - this is the fourth time in 5 months that we've had our vehicle back in for repairs that were improperly made, and our vehicle has been there for 3 weeks just this time! Altogether they have had our vehicle for all but 3 weeks out of the last 5 months. Highly inconvenient! And they never call you unless they need money from your insurance company. It's like you have to call them to remind them that they have your car. I am worried that our car will never be fixed properly. read more

Very poor communication. We were told they would call by the end of the day...more like several days later. They had the car for 2 1/2 weeks, when it should have been done in 10 days. It ended up costing us because we had to rent a car. We were pleased with the work, but would not recommend it due to the poor customer service. read more

Promised to be done by Friday, then Saturday, now Monday. This is costing us extra car rental days!

My car was in their shop for 3 weeks. Not once were they proactive in communicating the status of my vehicle. I had to chase them down for every update. When I finally got the call from them it was 5pm on Friday the night before my case manager (or whatever they call them) was to leave for vacation for a week. They said they had finished all the last minute repairs and a detailer would be wrapping up the final touches for Saturday am delivery. When I got my car there were plastic pieces not snapped into place, a part on the liftgate that had tool marks from being pried off, it was obviously not painted with the rest of the gate, and the bolts were not tightened down so the lift gate sat crooked and didn't close right. I took the car back within 10 minutes of arriving home and getting a good look at it. Will now have to wait until at least Monday to see the outcome. read more

I selected Auburn Collision because they were a preferred provider through my insurance company and a friend had a good experience with them. They were pretty well coordinated with my insurance company and the car rental company that also contracts with my insurance so that went pretty smooth. I haven't noticed any problems with the repair (replacement of front bumper and fender). The repairs took a little longer than estimated and they weren't really good about calling me to tell me about delays. I kept having to call them to inquire. Generally satisfied, though. read more

I brought in my own prepared part to be painted with polyurethane finish and they sprayed it with a dirty gun leaving serious specks in the finish. I had to re-do the entire part. If you don't care about the quality of the work or your just interested in a "5 o'clock job" go ahead use their services but for me, it is down the road I go. read more

I have waited 3 months to write this review just to see if my attitude will change about their service and quality of work. I brought my 2012 Dodge ram for a minor repair, bumper was damaged in the low speed impact. Truck is black and it is immaculate condition when I brought the truck to them it had no issues except for the damaged bumper. When I received the truck back, interior of the truck had white sanding dust/white power and had dirty contaminated gloves in the back of the truck that was glued to the bed liner. When I brought it to represent from the shop that was supposed to be the quality control manager we decided to have it detailed... I would pay for the Job not looking for anything for free too busy to do it myself. When I received the truck back, I fail to look at it in the sunlight before I took it. Big mistake and I know better, always look at your vehicle in the sunlight before you take it from a body shop, they put it under a covered so you cannot see your vehicle under direct sunlight this hides imperfections you would obviously see under direct sunlight or using a son gun. Black paint was full of swirls through the vehicle. It looked like a child did this work, I did not bring it back, how can they fix it when they could not do it right the first time, Shop does not have the skills or the products needed to do a quality job! I rubbed it out myself by hand and ultimately brought it to another detailer in Tracy California were it costly me $500 to fix the paint and remove all the swirls. First experience about 2 years ago great. This time a disaster. Told me they would order the parts and have them there when we brought the car in. Scheduled appointment one week later. Brought car in on Monday and said they would have done by Wednesday. Called on Wednesday and was told it would be either Friday or Monday. No car Friday so called Monday to schedule pickup. Told the car would be primed Monday and Painted Tuesday good for Wednesday pickup. Called Wednesday and put on hold for case manager. He did not pickup so they said he would call right back. Waited 2 hours no call. Call back told car would ready to go at 5:30. Leave work to pick car up and get a call that the wrong part came in so it will be ready Thursday. Get a call Thursday and they said they got the wrong part again and it will be ready Friday. You make the call on what kind of service this is. read more
