I had an air conditioner problem with my wife's Honda CRV. I'm comfortable with almost everything on a car except Automatic Transmissions and Air conditioners, so I took the car here on the advice of many of my Todd Valley neighbors. Bobby and his guys took care of it fast and at a very fair price. I'm new on the hill and they treated me like a local and made me feel very welcomed. It's a really fun office too with all kinds of gas station memorabilia on the shelves, pumps on the floor and so on. I'm almost looking forward to my next car problem so I can bring it down and hang out in the office. With 260K on the Honda, I shouldn't have to wait too long. read more

Wow. Just wow. This place is really a gem. Bobby is so amazing. The customer service here goes beyond that of typical places. They treat you as if it's their own daughters car is broken. When my bearing went bad, they fixed it for cheaper than the places in Auburn I was quoted. When my car broke down 20 miles up Mosquito Ridge in the middle of no where and my insurance towing couldn't help me, Bobby called the tow place himself and arranged my rescue. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. I will never go anywhere else. I know that Foresthill Towing is also pretty great. Jason rescued my car and he was super nice. He gave me his card and explained everything I needed to know about getting stranded at various places in the area. What a great company! I got a flat tire in the middle of the night and nothing was open! I left my car there and called the next day, the owner didn't have the same tire I needed so he put on my donut and recommended I drive to auburn to get the matching tire. He didn't charge me a penny and was really kind and helpful! Would highly recommend them. Great customer service!!! read more

I don't understand why there are no reviews for this business. We just had a horrible night turn out bearable due mainly to the wonderful service we received from LARRY at Foresthill towing. My husband, 7 yr old daughter and I broke down on I-80 just past Roseville on our way to Soda Springs to spend a couple days in the snow. Larry was very professional taking great care to make sure we were safe getting from our vehicle to his safely with our daughter. The ride was very pleasant as we talked and learned that he had taken the same Disney cruise that we had just recently taken but on the sister ship. I would highly recommend that if you are in that area and need a tow that you call and I don't know if you can request a particular driver but you would get a top notch driver if you get Larry. His days off, right now anyway, are Sunday and Monday. read more

These days good mechanics are hard to find. Mr. Bobby here at Foresthill Garage took care of all the things I've needed for my SUV. I got a great set of tires, he just replaced an engine I blew out, and he also went over my car with a fine tooth comb and repaired everything he could. He is also friendly, and explained everything to me so I will know how to best take care of my vehicle. Car problems sometimes can hurt the worst, but Mr. Bob got me back on the road, and eased my pain. This is an excellent place to get your repairs done. My Tundra went into "limp" mode on a Saturday, local Toyota could not see me until Monday. I wanted to find out what was wrong/ and if safe to drive to Auburn. Bobby doing paperwork at Foresthill garage, "sure ,bring it by". He hooked up computer and found error code for emissions system-he printed out paperwork - it was known problem. Toyota had extended warranty covering this problem, Bobby told me to take to Toyota -probably covered. Local Toyota service would not give me warranty question answer and questioned me using local mechanic to diagnose and me using google to research problem. This problem was about a 2500$ fix if warranty not utilized. Roseville Toyota was awesome-had me in 9 am Sunday morning-1 hour called me and said totally covered. Sunday so couldn't get parts which I expected, what I didn't expect was Monday morning 9 am call saying truck ready. Back to Foresthill Garage. A dishonest mechanic would have kept my truck and charged for repairs. I had my wife put Foresthill garage number in her phone for our go to mechanic. Bobby did not make money that day but he got a lifetime customer. Genuinely nice guy and great experience. Another great thing about living here. read more
