One of the things we appreciate most about Auburn Gates is the sense of community they've created. We LOVE the resident events! Game nights, movie nights, and everything else they plan have honestly become things we look forward to every month. As soon as we see the monthly calendar, we start figuring out which events we're going to attend. And David deserves a special shoutout because he is awesome. He's friendly, helpful, welcoming, and always makes the events fun. The whole Auburn Gates staff has been great to us and is always helpful whenever something comes up. Can't even begin to describe how physically ill I got living here- chronic cough every day when I returned home. Finally, after months, the water heater leaked black soot, and after it was replaced, the coughing finally subsided --when I reported this to management, they vehemently denied that the water heater could be at all responsible for my illness then proceeded to not renew my lease, but wouldnt tell me why but stated it wasn't retaliatory. But as soon as we walked in, David came and greeted us, and was our HERO. He was attentive, caring, and most of all, prompt to details and response time. We have been in the apartment since 11/24/23. We were told the apartment included a garage. We still have not received a garage.

Maintenance waits weeks on critical health and safety issues. There is sewage in our dishwasher and they won't classify it as an "emergency" because it's a dishwasher. The apartment smells so bad that my girlfriend is gagging and puking. We are moving out our essentials on the coldest day of the year with about a foot of snow on the ground. I called their emergency line, I emailed the assistant property manager and I sat in the office. This is the THIRD time this has happened with the dishwasher alone, let alone everything else. I already informed the city of their egregious health and safety violations from negligence. Avoid at ALL COSTS. read more

They are hardly a luxury complex nor do they have any real customer service tact in that office. We rented a corporate apartment for our COO - the whole process was laughable, from the application process and their condescending attitude to the exit and the charges they added to our move-out. They stated they sent us the statement, nobody got one. We get one in the mail 2 days later but now it's past their window to debate the bill. They charged us $455 for new LVP flooring - wth - our COO was maybe in this place 2 days every couple of weeks for 6 mths. It's a grown woman, no pets, no kids - is she going around ripping up your lvp flooring? Pretty doubtful. Blinds were ragged at move-in, it wasn't super clean - so, don't think they're going around using the $ to actually fix the items they're accusing departing renters of having ruined. I bet that the apartment will have the exact same LVP (which looked bad enough in their eyes to ding us) but yet it'll be left the same for the next person. Make sure to write down every little item that jumps out at you in their apartments, miss one thing you think is an obvious 'it's not me that did it' because they will charge you for it and keep passing the buck along to the next person. This has been stated several times in previous reviews, but my only issues with living here is the parking/garage situation and timeliness of attending to major maintenance requests. I've been told for over a year that I would have a garage assigned to me. Every time I stop in the office to inquire, I am given a different excuse: First it was that they were still working on assigning them. Then it was that the former tenants of the garage assigned to me still had not vacated it. Then it was that they were waiting on the remote to be returned. Then the electricity was out for the garage (except all of the garages near me have lights that were functioning...). Around 80% of the garages near me are unoccupied, and I know this because whenever it snows, there are no tire tracks at all. I had a coworker/neighbor who called multiple times a day until they gave her a garage to shut her up. I've considered doing the same but honestly, I don't think I'll renew my lease since they promised me a garage when I signed to renew my current lease. It's a shame, I really like living here, but I'm tired of dealing with this and not having a garage for my new car. Second, I mentioned the timeliness of attending to maintenance requests. My AC unit is older, so when the temperature hits the extremes, it struggles to keep my apartment either below 80 degree in the summer or above 58 degrees in the winter. It has taken multiple maintenance requests for them to witness the issue (since they won't respond on the day of the extreme weather temperatures) thus it took over a year to get it temporarily fixed by adding Freon. However, I think there is a leak in the system since it never lasts from summer to summer. Anyway, if you ever have a bad maintenance problem, I would recommend the emergency maintenance crew over the normal Auburn Gate crew. They are much more attentive and actually know how to fix my issues. I really like living here, but with these issues, I don't think I will be renewing my lease for next year. read more

The people are very nice and the staff treats us all like family and that mines a lot to me and my daughter... I really don't want to move, but we need to be closer to the school to better her attendance next year!!! Now she is crying not to leave for two yrs. This rating is based on my recent experience with Chelsea the leasing manger in the office. Since I moved in back in March, my experience at auburn gate has been less than good. The move in process was terrible, there were several issues. However, yesterday I spoke with Chelsea regarding some outstanding maintenance orders as well as my vacate process as the end of my lease is coming up. Chelsea was more than pleasant to speak with and was more than helpful. Chelsea noticed that I was not being charged for my pet, even though I completed all the necessary paperwork. She said I would not be back charged since it was their error and advised all the steps I would need to take to get my pet up to date with their records. Chelsea followed up with me the very next day regarding my maintenance orders and provided all the information I needed. I was very pleased with the outcome and hope I can deal with her for my remaining lease term. read more

One of the main reasons I chose Auburn Gate was the availability of enclosed carports. When I signed my lease the woman said there was 1 garage available and that I'd be 1st on the list to get it.... well that was a year and a half ago! I stop into the front office every couple months to inquire about the garage and I get the same generic response. One time I even talked to the woman who was taking care of assigning garages and she said "I'd be taken care of next", this was about 5 months ago. Normally parking wouldn't be such a big deal, but not at Auburn Gate where construction equipment, dirt and snow piles routinely occupy spaces. So few open spots and the fact that most garages are used for storage (or your neighbor's landscaping business trailer) create an infuriating scenario at the end of the day when you're tired from work and just want to be home. My Recommendation: if you want to live at Auburn Gate Apartments then buy a truck or SUV, at least you can park on the grass. read more

I hate this complex. They deserve to be shut down. I've dealt with mold, roaches, extra charges on my account, and incredibly rude office staff. The things this place has put me and my neighbors through is downright cruel. Save yourself the headache. DO NOT RENT HERE. It's overpriced and overall the worst apartment I've ever lived in. We chose this apartment community when we were moving back to MI from another state and the photos and first tour of the apartments looked great. However after moving in we quickly realized that there were a lot of "band aid" solutions to issues in the apartment taking place. We lived there for 1.5 years, the first year was in a 2 bedroom and we AC went out and was on and off in the summer (with an infant in our home) and they took over 6 weeks to actually fix the issue after several visits and guesses at the problem instead of just hiring someone to completely resolve it. After moving to an upgraded unit for our second year, we ran into the EXACT same issue with our AC again and went thru 2 weeks of the same band aid solutions before they finally replaced the unit. We planned on staying for our full lease however we had a family member we had to immediately move in and help take care of after a health scare. Now, i understand the signed lease and terms of breaking lease - however, we did not plan on breaking our lease until this occurred and we were left with no choice. Doing so was putting us in a financial bind and we even reach out to corporate to try to find a solution. We have been great tenants and always paid on time, no complaints, etc. and instead of even answering us, we had to call several times to get a response for our written notice and have been told they will not be willing to do anything to accomodate an alternative or financial solution for either end. They have put alot of money lately into fixing up the grounds, yet, still dont seem to truly care about their residents and investing into properly caring for their units. Will not recommend this to anyone needing to rent. read more

Parking is really terrible in front of my building. I rent a garage that gets virtually blocked in by cars so you can barely leave your apartment after 5 PM. I've expressed concerns with office staff and have had no one contact to resolve this issue. Also good luck if you live on the top floor with cooling your unit during the summer. I have had my air conditioner set to 72 while I was gone today and it's been running the whole time costing me in electric, while not cooling apartment since it's nearly 80 degrees in here currently. Paying $300 on electric without even cooling my apartment enough is a joke. Will be moving as soon as the lease is up. Update: it's been three months and the air works a little better, still struggles on hot days and leads to expensive electric bills. As far as parking is concerned nothing has ever been resolved. I still have a difficult time getting in and out of my garage every night. I've contacted the office a multitude of times and no resolution to the problem ever. I'd just get rid of it but the parking situation is so bad that I don't really have a choice if I want a spot. Everything here is a giant hassle with no resolution. read more

My friend moved begin moving into their Auburn Gates apartment on Sept 16th...a week later, all of her belongings were taken out of the apartment by someone with a key. After the police accessed the situation, they are certain someone on their staff entered her unit and took her things! The office has been uncooperative and said they will not be doing any internal investigations and refuses to let her out of her lease. The only thing they offered was to move her to a new unit. Beztek refuses to call her back to discuss this matter. I have witnessed my friend crying daily for the past week and blaming herself for something she did not do! The way this company is handling this situation is horrible. The police have stated they feel this company has been negligent any many ways and cannot believe the lack of compassion or help she is receiving. I am hoping this review will help her get some type of help from both Beztek and Auburn Gates Update: This afternoon my friend was contacted by Rebecca who was apathetic, condescending and dismissive. She implied that my friend should have been grateful to have been offered another unit after this ordeal. There's was no shred of empathy or respect. Overpriced apartments with unhelpful new management. Maintaince staff is over worked so orders (like a broken doorwalls lock on the ground level) go days or even weeks before being repaired. Had to buy a dowel rod to secure my door so no one would walk in and no one got out to fix it for THREE WEEKS, and was not an "emergency" according to them either. They will try and deny any personal renters insurance as they want you to sign up for their protection waiver which will not cover you for anything and will cost $240 per year. Pictures on the website were taken so long ago nothing looks that new anymore. Amenities aren't what they claim them to be as many such as the hot tub haven't been working for several seasons. Utilities aren't included, snow removal was awful this season as they buried cars and did not properly salt walkways creating hazardous conditions for the entire neighborhood and then still charged us all for the service. Office staff never knows whats going on and hardly get back to you. They will attempt to fine people for everything as they are struggling to find tenants as they continue to raise rent while making no real improvements to the community. The area routinely has packages stolen and a few mail boxes are in disrepair making your mail easily stolen. Apparently some one was shot outside one of the units last fall but not entirely sure if that is true. All in all there's plenty of other options that are more affordable and play less games with you. read more

However, the neighbors previously living above me have moved out and the new neighbors are worse. I kid you not it sounds like they are throwing around a bowling ball at 11 pm. We love our building. Love our neighbors. You won't find a more convenient location--right next to I75, with nature right in our backyard. The maintenance team has been very responsive and thorough. Landscaping and snow removal have greatly improved this year. Parking limitations and more oversight at the pool would be areas for improvement. read more

The grounds are ok. The apartments are cheap. The windows leak, so your energy bill will be astronómical your . You'll have to put your heat on 90 just to be comfortable. You'll have to have air on 60, and maybe the temp in apartment will be comfortable. So if you want to rent here expect to add $500/month for heating and air. I have complained but no one cares. Can't wait to get out so I can save money. Find another place unless you have unlimited funds. read more

This complex prides itself on a luxury resort feel..... with the amount you pay you would hope that were even half true. The pool is a mess, tiles are falling off, with algae and the water is unfiltered. The hot tub is filled with dirty cold water and its now a week past memorial weekend, with not a single response from the office staff. Emails have been sent, and called multiple times. Maintenance around here seems to be fast when you put in a work order (other than the staff not informing you of when they are entering your home without permission). So I am not sure why the hot tub cant be turned on or at the very least an update on when we can expect this "luxury resort feel" to be up and running? read more

I recommend this place because of their maintenance team. They were very quick. Mr. Karl stopped by my apartment with a gentle knock on the door at the time the state of Michigan is fighting CoVid-19. Karl was very professional wearing virus protection equipment for his safety and mine. He then asked few "protocol" questions before he entered my apartment and started his job. I have lived here since August 2018 and I like my apartment a lot. Maintenance requests for a failing water heater and backed up dishwasher were handled quickly and satisfactorily but parking is horrible and the office manager is very abrasive and uses threats to deal with tenants. For example, one letter we received about parking stated that our cars would be towed if we did not park in actual parking spots. There aren't enough of them. Instead there are all of these garages that don't appear to be used taking up parking lot space so I'd have to walk quite a ways to park in an actual parking space. Why would you threaten to tow your tenants when you are not providing enough space for them to park at their building? There are times I would have to park at a building across the street. Recently, they left a letter on my door about registering my dog for this poop dna program they do (which I agree is needed, there is dog poop everywhere!) but the letter did not provide a deadline as to when I had to have him registered or how I go about getting him registered. I got the letter in the middle of January. The letter was not clear as to the process and indicated that the program was new so I assumed they would contact me about how to register my dog. When a few weeks went by and I did not hear anything I stopped at the office and asked and she said I could bring him by any time. She didn't mention any deadline or even ask me when I received the letter. Today I get a call that I'm being charged a fine of $100 because I have not registered my dog. So I called and spoke to Chris, the manager, and explained that their letter did not include a deadline and he said but you got it back on Jan. 18th or 19th. Um...so? If your letter does not include a deadline and I was not told about this program when I moved in then how would I know when I have to have this done by? He finally said if I bring the dog in tomorrow he will remove the fine. This could be handled so much better. Consider including a timeline for folks, like, "please bring your dog to our office to be registered no later than 30 days from this notice date." His tone on the phone and in letters is very abrasive and adversarial. We are tenants and being nice to the people who are already renting from you is just as important as being nice to people looking to rent from you. read more

In 2020 I had raccoons in my ceiling and I heard them shredding. They even found dead bodies of raccoons. I advised the apartment multiple times in email correspondence, after months they resolved the raccoons and removed them. They did not bother to address the stain I told them about over and over again. I have documented proof of these emails. I heard the rain on my drywall but they told me I'm mistaken and it's the roof. Well now, I woke up with buckets of water on my floor and my personal computer ruined. I called at 9:13, and was advised maintenance would be right out ASAP. At 12 I called again, and got no answer. It's currently 1:30 pm. I called again and the women said she requested assistance.... so nice of you to request assistance but do nothing else. Don't move here, you'll regret it! The staff is kind but there's no follow though. No one to ensure that stuff like this gets taken care of. The drywall is crumbling and I cannot wait to move. Good luck read more

Don't believe the fake good reviews. The front office does raffles when residents post reviews of the apartments, so I would say most of the good reviews are fake and just for the raffle. Here's my experience at Auburn Gate. Warning: long post, but worth the read for a real look into these apartments. My husband and I moved here for a summer job, and thank goodness we are almost done because living here has been a huge hassle and a headache. We moved here with 5 other couples and it seems we all had very similar negative experiences. Here's all of the things that went wrong in just FOUR months. -Our apartment was dirty and had many repairs needed upon move-in. Luckily maintenance came pretty quick and took care of the easy fixes. However, many things continued to break over and over again to the point where I gave up calling maintenance because the same closet doors, loose faucets, etc. would break again within a day or two. The finishings on these apartments are really poor quality. The floors are also uneven. I noticed this when walking around the first day but it became even more apparent when the toddler I babysat would roll a car or a ball away from him and it would roll back towards him because the floor was slanted. Also, our water heater broke and it took days for them to come fix it. My husband and I are no strangers to cold showers as he lived in Mexico for two years and I lived in Brazil for a year and a half, but we were very frustrated that for how much we pay in rent it took so long to fix a big problem like that. Also, three of the other couples we came here with had their air conditioners break. Of those three, only 2 had maintenance come to try and fix it and only 1 actually got it fixed. -Nasty neighbors. We had the rudest neighbors below us. As I mentioned before I watched a toddler every morning. I am also pregnant, and as a result I need to use the bathroom all hours of the day and even early in the morning. They complained all the time for too much noise. We explained our situation and they even saw the toddler but that didn't stop their complaints. When my husband explained this to the office after they called us, they were indifferent to our situation. Our experience made it seem like this is not a family friendly place. Along with this is if there were better sound insulation these issues would not be had. We can hear everything our neighbors do but that's not their fault, it's the fault of the builders for skimping on sound proofing. -The trash situation is a disaster. There is only one dumpster for every single building in this complex and it is by the office at the front of the entrance. Where our apartment is, that's a 5 minute drive and it is so easy to forget the trash when it takes that long to get to the dumpster. The dumpster was also always overflowing and disgusting. They charged us extra every month to maintain that dumpster but we never understood where that money went because the dumpster was awful. -The pool is nasty. I don't need to elaborate more than saying the two times I decided to go swimming I came out with a wigs worth of other people's hair on me. Overall, we were very frustrated that our rent was going to a "luxury apartment" but what we got was far from luxurious. We both have a few years of apartment living but these were by far the worst we have lived in. There's more but I feel I have said enough. read more

I have lived here since last April and for the most part the place is nice. Pretty to look at but nothing else really matches up. We have noisy neighbors with pets not on leads, the maintenance isn't the best. The garbage situation is also god awful as well. One dumpster right in the front for the whole complex. It is constantly overflowing. The parking situation is also terrible. If you come Home any later than 5, good luck getting a spot close to your door. They also raised our rent almost $200 when renewing. Our toilet has been "fixed" twice now and it broke a week later. Poor communication for the most part from the leasing office. I emailed them yesterday about one of the checks I submitted as it was not cleared on my account. I got told this morning it was good and I had no balance. Then I come home from my errands to a letter saying that we didn't pay last months rent and we need to pay it immediately and they added on a late fee of $150 even though I turned the check in on the 7th with the agreement from them that I wouldn't not be changed for that one day. I called and asked them what happened and they said they were just told today...two weeks later....that my check bounced so I have to pay the late fee and they won't remove it. Mind you I wouldn't submit a check that I didn't have the money for so that sounded strange to me. I called my bank to see if indeed they bounced it because of the ridiculous late fee added on. I was then told that there was never a transaction or attempt at getting that money from my account per that check. And now that the office is closed, I had to email them and let them know all of this. Not that I think they will do anything because they just want money from everyone and not really care about the residents. And Chris in the easing office will not even help with trying to figure out a solution read more

I just moved in here after horrible living conditions from my last apartment. The ENTIRE office staff was the most helpful, compassionate, and eager group of people I've ever met in my life. I was able to take a tour and apply one the same day I called. The next day I was approved and the apartment was already ready for me to move in! There was a hiccup/ delay in my move in date because of my own fault but it was resolved quickly and I could tell the office staff really cares about their residents. Contrary to many older comments, my garage was assigned to me immediately and the staff even followed up with me on several occasions to see if the move in process went smoothly. The apartment itself could get a whole novel, it's the cleanest apartment ever! I'm not talking manager special paint over everything clean, I mean every single crack in the apartment from head to toe was clean, even after a mop there was no dirt on the mop pad. All my appliances are brand new and the bathroom will have you feeling like you're in a spa. The community is also amazing, everyone so far is very neighborly and there are weekly FREE events coordinated by staff. There's even an app that encourages you to participate in things for free gift cards. I am excited for summer to test the summer activities! I strongly recommend every person I encounter to live here there is absolutely no other apartment like this one. read more

My wife and I moved to Michigan due a company transfer. We decided to rent at Auburn Gate because it is nearby the office and because at a first glance, the apartments looked fine. The staff seemed very helpful and everything happen very fast. We got our leasing agreement in a couple of days. But... as soon as we arrived, we noticed several issues: 1) Despite smoking on the apartments is prohibited, our apartment has a strong cigarette smoke odor. We don't smoke and we hate the smell. I have submitted several complaints about this but the situation is not solved. One time, we went to speak to the manager (after some ignored emails) and he was kind of rude. After that, they just sent a generic letter to all the houses. Them, the situation just sightly improved. Every day I use my towel, it has a very strong cigarette odor. Nasty. 2) Our building has parking spots issues. It is supposed that each apartment can have up to 4 cars. There are no enough parking spots. Many times I had to park my car far away from the building. 3) Strong pipe odors. Sometimes at night, we experience very strong pipe odors. I haven't worried to notify this, because we know that we are going to solve nothing. 4) If you rent here, you will have access to a very dirty pool + a gym with very few equipment + a never working sauna room. So, don't count on it. 5) Grilling area. They have installed a grilling area this year. The grilling area was used for 2 or 3 weekends after its opening. Then, something happened (somebody exploded one grill) and the grilling area was closed... forever. 6) Trash dumpsters. A disaster, I think this is not only the fault of the management, also the tenants play a big role here. They are always nasty, teared down trash bags outside the dumpster. 7) Cheap apartment finishings. Our apartment is one of the "upgraded" ones. But we noticed several bad jobs, uneven floors, inefficient A/C, window screens teared down (with big holes, so we can't keep them opened). Poor noise insulation, so you will hear the trucks from the freeway, and you neighbors doing things. In the other hand, every time we have submitted a maintenance complain or service request. They have attended it very quickly. read more

Their computer system fails, and fails to debit my account for rent resulting in late fees on me! I hate this place and I'm looking for something else! read more

Forget about any available parking, forget about walking in the grass and not stepping in dog feces. The property management is a joke with predatory accounting that actually tried to profit during the global pandemic of Covid-19 (I was current on all my lease payments, my lease happened to expire during the Michigan shutdown and unethical is how I would label Auburn Gate's business practices as they attempted to strong arm me into another lease agreement). It got so bad I had to file a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General's office. I cannot stress how much I would not consider to live here again. Look around, there are nicer places in better neighborhoods for the same amount of money. I got stuck here after selling my house, I wish I had taken more time to look around but I needed something quick. read more

If I could give this complex no stars I would. When we moved in the place was disgusting, wasn't cleaned, everything was broken it was horrible. Our air conditioning broke in the middle of summer and wasn't fixed for over two months. There was a raccoon the size of Kujo on our balcony and we were on the SECOND floor. Multiple times our neighbors were fighting so bad we almost had to call cops. The worst part is their leasing office team. Honestly the young girls working there should not be working in customer service. They are extremely rude and clueless of anything going on. Hopefully you don't have to get any packages delivered here because your neighbors will openly steal them. Good luck if you ever have to live here. There are so many things wrong with this place I can't even where to begin. Overpriced, location is highly over-rated (traffic is a nightmare, especially around the holidays. Prepare to do a dozen Michigan lefts to get anywhere), and the office doesn't quite seem to care so much about their "community" as the let on. They lure you in with their fancy clubhouse and models however that's just about where any "luxury" ends. There's never any parking, the small garbage cans are always full, and there is only one dumpster at the very entrance of the complex. They keep saying they're working on installing more, however, they've had the materials sitting in the location for months now and still no dumpsters. Rent is going up, and the only improvements I've seen have been to the clubhouse (I think Regina M. is on to something with us paying for all their activities and contests). They did do some landscaping, but that just caused drainage issues. My current rent is supposedly already including a water charge for two people which was added last year, yet I've received a notice that with this new company they will be adding a water charge... There was a non-sufficient fund fee incorrectly applied to our account with the previous management company (I've seen 3 in 2 years). There was not any bank account affiliated with our account, and had already paid rent via money order so clearly the fee was wrong. The office tried saying they had a sheet of paper that we signed in our lease with that bank account information, however this was just not true. We had never signed any paperwork regarding bank accounts. After arguing with them for a while we finally just left it alone and nothing happened...for a while. When the current management company took over, we received a notice on our door that the $25 "utility" charge was to be paid with the next rent payment, and no partial payments would be accepted. After spending a long time on the phone and speaking to several representatives (most of whom simply said something along the lines of "I'm new sorry there's nothing i can do"), after waiting a week for them to contact us, we finally called and were able to have this clearly incorrect (at this point i'd almost consider it fraudulent) charge removed. Now they put that notice on our door, they put several notices on our door, inviting people to join contests, and general lease information. They have my license plate registered with them in my lease, as well as with a parking pass. They have the ability to contact me if there is an issue regarding my vehicle, yet they decided to have it (along with several others) towed without any attempt to contact me. I've spoken to several representatives of the office in regards to this issue, and none of their explanations seemed to match up. I was told there had been a notice placed on my vehicle a week ago, yet there wasn't the last time I checked on the vehicle 3 days ago. I've seen several neighbors come and go, so i can only assume they shared a similar opinion to mine. read more

Love this place, staff is absolutely amazing. Summer is a blast with the hot tub and community pool. We just renewed our lease to enjoy another year of stay and hopefully many more to come. read more

This place is absolute trash. They tease you with a nice interior, only to find out it's made subpar. Theres a fire alarm in the living room right by the stove. Which, let me mind you, has an air vent but funny enough, it doesn't have an outlet and just moves all the steam/smoke directly into the fire alarm so if you want to cook EVER forget that. The management are rude and tack on hundreds of dollars of random costs every month, with no warning of it when the lease was signed. The amenities seem nice but it's basically all looks and no function. Good luck parking past 3 o'clock on a weekday or anytime on the weekends by any means. There are 8 parking spots and 2 handicapped spots in front of a complex with 12 apartments so how does that make any sense? So everyday you can have fun walking a mile to and from your apartment. Not to mention nobody uses their garages because they're so small you probably couldn't ever get out of or back into your car if you parked in it. So, if you enjoy having the wool pulled over your eyes and being robbed blind, this is the place for you!!! In addition to this, the toilets are so tall that my feet dangle sitting on it. I'm very confused as to whether this is supposed to be luxurious, but it's definitely not luxurious to me by any means. read more

There's a reason that they ask you for a 5 star review right as you move in- when I walked into the unit I thought our apartment was great! New appliances, lots of space, close to the highway, lots of amenities. And don't get me wrong, those things are great. However, once you start living and look a little closer you start to notice why they have so many poor reviews from people that have already lived there. It is very clear that the apartments are not made well. I have not even been in my unit a month and our air conditioning has broken, half of the doors don't close right, we had water damage, electrical issues, stones were falling off of the building, and the paint jobs are shoddy. The only thing that has gotten fixed is the air conditioning, and that is because it was 90 degrees and I have a dog- and even then I had to call about 10 times over 4 days to get that fixed. They are also RIGHT next to the highway so you never really get peace and quiet- and driving through the complex is a nightmare with all of the unmarked speed bumps. I was so excited that I had found a place to live for the next few years and now I am itching to get out. A huge disappointment. read more
