Not only did they have the exact model she was looking for (coincidentally, the same one I wanted to purchase originally), but the staff was noticeably more professional and welcoming this time around. While my friend certainly turned a few heads--she's objectively very striking--what stood out more was the consistently courteous and knowledgeable service we both received. It felt genuine and customer-focused, which made the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. The staff was so helpful and relaxed that I ended up making a few purchases myself--completely unplanned, but I couldn't resist. It's possible my earlier experience was just an off day, and this visit definitely changed my perspective. As a nice bonus, they even gave me a handful of stickers for my gun room wall, which was a thoughtful touch. The young lady at the front of the store immediately welcomed us in and asked if we needed help. She was pleasant and efficient with getting the fishing license for my husband. We walked around the store for a quick browse. Most of the other employees were busy helping other customers at that moment. Can't really speak on the inventory or the prices, compared to Big 5 or Walmart, but at least we know what to expect from Turner's Outdoorsman. Check them out as an alternative to the big box stores.
