After attending a 3 year old birthday party there, we knew that it was the perfect choice to host our 4 year olds birthday! I seriously can't say enough about Auburn Gymnastics. Their staff is filled with genuine love for the kids. I have two children that attend and both are obsessed. My daughter goes to coach Hope for the green group 6 months-3 years old and she absolutely loves it. She's just a year and a half so isn't totally doing the obstacle courses set up but she is running around playing on the overly soft facility with a ton for even our littlest ones and coach Hope is always there to help my girl when she wants to give some of the course a go. My son goes to coach Nathan and Sierra for little warriors. These coaches just make my heart so happy! My son is a little on the quit side and omg.... They just make him feel so confident. We leave here with him telling me "mom... did you see me do that flip (or whatever they were doing". I just can't tell you how amazing this class is. Coach Nathan is very knowledge with the skills he is teaching. Plus... you can here the coaches in the classes cheering the kids on and even remembering their names. Safety is always so important here too which is obviously a main point! Needless to say I highly recommend this place! I can't wait for my kids to be older so they can continue in the higher skilled classes. read more

I'm sad this place isn't better. I really wanted to love it because it's the closest one to my house. Unfortunately, my daughter has had nothing but a string of bad experiences. First it started with a change of teacherseach week. I have yet for any of them to feel like they care beyond their paycheck. They apparently have "ribbon week" every eight weeks to acknowledge the new abilities you've earned. She's only gotten ribbons the very first day she was there. Not since. And we've been there since last summer. She sees other kids get them, but their always "out" when it gets to her. She's six. Doesn't make her feel her effort is as good as the other kids. Then, she's been allowed to be repeatedly bullied in each class. I can't get away from it! I've moved her to different times/days and there are always bullies. They're constantly cutting in front of her, telling her she cut, make her go to the end of the line, and more. It's ridiculous. I've seen my daughter start to exhibit bully behavior to combat the other bullies. I nipped that. Anyway, I can't control other kids. Bullies are out there. But, the coach shouldn't tolerate it and should actively stop it. I've seen my daughter run to me in tears because of a bully and the coach that day totally ignored it. So, I'll be leaving. It's also not all that clean. Tons of sick people all the time. They had a case of lice a few weeks ago warning patents to keep their kids home if they have lice. If you need to tell parents to be like enough to not subject others to lice, that right there explains the bully issue. They charge $65/MO for one, one hour class per week. My daughter was in the gold group. Forget putting your kid in a Thursday class. It's a nightmare. read more

Teachers of the class arrived late on a Friday morning, there were WAY to many kids for the size of the place and then they took the kids into the big gym... talk about an accident waiting to happen EVERYWHERE. Auburn Gymnastics is fantastic! My kid loves going every saturday morning and gets so excited. He was timid at first and the next few sessions but really took to it after that. The teachers are kind, call all the kids by name and take personal approach with each one to help them each get the most out of the hour they spend with them. The best gym for kids especially special needs. Really thoughtful instructors.

Auburn Gymnastics has a great reputation and places high in competitions. The level 4 and 5 coaches are great. They are positive and teach the gymnasts the necessary building blocks needed for them to compete at their best. The gym itself is not necessarily "parent friendly". Once they receive your substantial payment the owner and head coache are aloof and difficult to communicate with. They currently do not offer level six classes which means if your gymnast is a level 5 they will remain there until the head coach deems them "ready" to be a level 7. There is no criteria which determines whether or not the gymnast will progress to that level. The booster club is active and does have a contract with the Seahawks and Sounders to work in several souvenir booths during the football and soccer seasons. Your earnings are dependent on how much the stores earn during each game. Some games you may earn enough money to cover the monthly cost of the gym fees and other days you'll work a 12 hour day and make only minimum wage. All money earned through fundraising is kept in your booster account and can be applied to your monthly fees. They also sell script, holiday wreaths, Sees Candy, etc. The cost of this gym is steep and the competition environment can be intense and life-consuming. If you cannot easily afford the expense, I would suggest signing up for a different gym. read more

I have been a gymnast at Auburn gymnastics center for 3 years at this point,and this review is from my perspective.AGC has great coaching and I have gotten so much encouragement from the coaches.I have grown so much from being a insecure little girl to a confident young woman.They have a great recreational program,and always strive to get better.They want the team kids to have a great relationship together,and do everything that has be done to reach their goal of that relationship.If you are looking for a great gymnastics place for your child Auburn Gymnastics Center is the place to go. read more

The owners are really community-minded, caring and creative people.
