My daughter goes to coach Hope for the green group 6 months-3 years old and she absolutely loves it. She's just a year and a half so isn't totally doing the obstacle courses set up but she is running around playing on the overly soft facility with a ton for even our littlest ones and coach Hope is always there to help my girl when she wants to give some of the course a go. My son goes to coach Nathan and Sierra for little warriors. These coaches just make my heart so happy! My son is a little on the quit side and omg.... They just make him feel so confident. We leave here with him telling me "mom... did you see me do that flip (or whatever they were doing". I just can't tell you how amazing this class is. Coach Nathan is very knowledge with the skills he is teaching. Plus... you can here the coaches in the classes cheering the kids on and even remembering their names. Safety is always so important here too which is obviously a main point! Needless to say I highly recommend this place! I can't wait for my kids to be older so they can continue in the higher skilled classes.

She attended a drop in class and was specifically instructed to wait until the day before enrollment to sign up. We followed their instructions exactly, only to be told there were suddenly no spots available. The owner and staff have shown a shocking lack of professionalism, communication, and understanding when it comes to accommodating a child with disabilities. This is not just poor customer service. It raises serious concerns about disability discrimination. I will be filing a formal disability discrimination complaint. Families of children with disabilities deserve to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this to anyone.

I found Miyagi's through their open gyms for my younger daughter which was always a fun experience…read more My older daughter decided she wanted a gymnastics themed birthday party so we booked a birthday party for her with them. My husband and I were both very disappointed. We were allowed to get there at 1:45 to set up for a 2:00 party and when we got there the woman at the front desk was calling the coach who was supposed to be working it and the coach had forgotten she was working that day. Nothing had been set up yet in the gym so the woman at the front scrambled to get some things set up. She was clearly annoyed with this. The "party room" is just the table to the right of the front desk which is pretty cluttered and dirty. The kids and adults at the party were told many rules they weren't following correctly which was very uncomfortable as the host of the birthday. They asked about getting all the girls of the party into lessons with each other in front of another mom which was also uncomfortable for me because I just wanted the parents to enjoy a nice birthday party without being pressured to sign their children up for something. The coach for the party showed up about 45 minutes late, never came over to introduce herself, and mostly sat around. The website does say the coach will set up games for the kids and things like that. When I walked over to her to introduce myself I asked her if she could do the bubble guns they use at their open gyms because our kids love them and she proceeded to tell me they don't always do them for all parties because if the kids don't like them it's a waste of their bubbles but she was willing to do them for us. They have two bubble guns and when you use both of them (which I've seen other coaches do with ease) it's a much better effect, but she said if I wanted both bubble guns used another parent from the party would need to help her. After the party was over and we cleaned everything up my husband asked her if everything looked ok and if we'd cleaned everything up well enough, and she just responded that she'd just stepped on something sticky. So all in all, we were very displeased with the party on Miyagi's end. We felt the customer service was lacking from all involved and besides having access to the gym...we are not really sure what we paid for.

The tumbling classes are great and so are the tumbling coaches. My daughter loves the tumbling…read morecoaches. However, My daughter tried out for level two All Star cheer last year at GEA. They told us she didn't make an All Star team at all, only the mini prep team. She was devastated. She worked two years towards her tumbling and stunts. She was already doing mini prep the year prior. She learned and perfected handsprings and many other skills prior to her first year of mini prep, but it was our first year of cheer so we accepted it, but a second season of mini prep is not acceptable for her with her skills. So we decided we would try out at several gyms just to find out if GEA was right or wrong. Yep, GEA was totally wrong to place my daughter on Mini prep a second year, according to all the other All Star gyms. My daughter made level 2 All Star at every location she tried out for. So what did we do? We packed our bags and moved on to another gym. Couldn't be happier that we did. Half of the All Star coaches, office staff and both owners are fake at GEA. If you are there favorite and fake like them this is the best place for you. If you question them they will treat you like a snake, for asking. My daughter was treated unfairly by the owner several times. She would come home crying and crying when I told her she had to go to cheer practice at GEA. My daughter moved to a different gym. She goes and comes home a happy girl now. She has come so far at her new All Star gym. At her new All Star gym they treat her like she matters and she is off soon to compete at Nationals in Orlando Florida. We are looking good and confident. Even if we don't win, we are happy just to be free from GEA. Her coach at her new gym and her tumbling gym all say she is ready to try out for level 3 now. If we were at GEA not sure they would let her move up. They tend to try and keep the girls stale. Unless you are their favorite and yes, they have those favorite girls. Those favorite girls are turning out like them at GEA fake and they will treat your girl badly and get away with it. However, don't stick up for yourself there against those mean favorite girls because they won't get into trouble, you will. If you're not their favorite you will get into trouble for sticking up for yourself against them. I would not recommend this gym. I would recommend if you are a real honest person keep looking around for a gym that treats you and your kids with respect and kindness. We were not the only family who left this gym because of how they were treated. I know a lot of those people who left. They are so much happier now. Tryouts coming soon. My daughter will be trying out for level three but not at GEA. Never ever again.

She has a full community separate from her school friends that love, support, and encourage her to do what she loves. I will tell you that cheer was the last thing on my mind when it came to what I wanted for my daughter - simply because of the harsh and negative experiences I have heard from other mothers from other cheer programs (local and afar). I prayed on it, and after months of tumbling with Just Tumble, I was comfortable with taking the leap into this crazy world called cheer. My son does competitive sports, so I thought I knew what I was getting into, but the level of community that is within this program is unmatched. My daughter loves every minute of the grind, and it loves her right back. Just Tumble, home if GEA, bolsters a full tumbling program with unlimited tumbling packages for GEA athletes. GEA instills integrity and character into its young athletes, while respecting their youthfulness. You can tell that Yvonne, owner, puts her heart and soul into this program for these athletes and families. She believes in her program and that what she is doing for these kids matters. GEA has big things in store with bringing in top notch coaching talent, cheer director and choreographer. We are so grateful to be part of this program. If you're thinking about taking the leap - just do it!
