Made an appointment with Dr.Rebecca McLaughlin and was seen in about a week! The office is bright and sunny and super clean. Some country tunes playing in the waiting room and really friendly staff great you. Dr.McLaughlin was SO wonderful - saw me right on time, explained every step of the exam, and even helped me look up a new contact solution I was considering. So glad that they take my insurance (Harvard Pilgrim) AND they're just a few turns off of 395.

I felt like I was more of a nuisance than an appreciated patient. He was curt and made me feel like he couldn't be done with the appt soon enough. I've never been this disconcerted at a doctors office before. Horrible vibe. In regards to the mask mandate, there is no state mandate in place and I am medically exempt from wearing a mask as they induce panic attacks. Panic attacks can cause you to cry and your nose to run. It would make NO sense for me to trigger this during an EYE exam when you're trying to keep people safe from these facial fluids in the first place. It's appalling to treat special needs people this way! Just because you refuse to read the updated peer reviewed studies on cloth and surgical masks and their ineffectiveness during this pandemic, that the CDC themselves cited, doesn't mean you can behave in such a discriminatory way. The CDC exempts those who can't wear them. Do better and be nicer to those who have special needs.

By mid afternoon I couldn't bear it anymore and decided to give this place a call. They were able to squeeze me in that day before the office closed. As soon as I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the front staff and given some paper work to fill out. Less than a month after getting these, strange lines appeared on both lenses, almost like the glass was cracking. They replaced the lenses once, and I was told to pay thirty-five dollars, which I did. But just couple of days later, The exact same thing happened again to the new glasses they replaced, but only on one lens. Then I was told they couldn't replace them because I had already used my replacement. The staff also said I didn't have scratch protection which I asked for my receipt and definitely they charged me for it and claimed they had warned me not to leave my glasses in a hot car when I picked them up. That never happened. When I picked up my replacement glasses, they just adjusted them and handed them to me. Nobody discussed heat or gave care instructions. If someone had told me heat could permanently damage the lenses, I would have avoided it. Instead, I spent445 dollars on glasses that I wasn't even able to use, and no one was willing to help. What a Waste of money and time. The optician who assisted me was very rude, unhelpful, and dishonest. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she was a tall woman with blonde hair who I spoke with during my last visit when I went to have my lenses replaced. She told me that she had warned me about leaving the glasses in a hot car, but that never happened. I find it extremely disappointing to be told something that simply isn't true straight to my face and not admit that the product is bad or simply replace the lenses or do something that both parties can be satisfied like offering to replace with small charge or any normal business will do other than blaming and lying to me. This is very poor customer service. Currently, I don't think they actually care enough to do something about it and make things right.

I have red gouges on both sides of my nose along with deep indents on my temples. They are the most uncomfortable pair of glasses I have ever owned. Every time I go in they adjust them. Six times adjusted and still the same as they were, however they did offer me $50 towards a new pair. $50.00 ? I can't wear these. The $50 will not get me a new pair. I'll never go back here. They can keep their $50, I'll go elsewhere and be out the close to $500 I paid. The customer service was terrible . Don't go here !

I initially gave a good recommendation. However, since my eye exam, I was given a pair of contacts…read morethat turned my eyes bloodshot red and caused my eyeballs to swell. When I returned for a follow-up exam, after explaining what happened, The female who did the eye exam as well as the doctor said "These contacts do cause redness, but eventually go away". I know I should have been informed that I was going to have discomfort with these contacts. These are my eyes, and I should have the right to choose whether I want to cause myself eye problems. I had to wait for another option of contacts to be delivered to the store. I was not set up for a follow-up exam. The second pair contacts appear to be working out for me. I showed to the store to get a copy of the script. The script was handed to me and I left. I then tried to fill the script and the prescription was written incorrectly. In addition, it was written for no one to sell me contacts.
