The Service Department has contacted me and scheduled a Takata airbag recall repair on three different occasions. The first two times, I was contact either a day or two before the scheduled appointment and told that the appointment had to be cancelled because they didn't receive the part. Last week I was contacted by the service department and again scheduled for the recall repair on Friday, June 15, 2018. Given my past experiences, I specifically asked and was told that the part was available. I also received a call on Thursday, June 14, 2018 confirming my appointment. I arrived at the Service Department and dropped the car off at 8:00 am on Friday, June 15, 2018. I got in my wife's car (she had followed me there because no loaner cars were available) and we were less than a few hundred yards away from the dealership when I received a call and told that the permanent repair could not be done. When I ask why that is so I am told some gibberish about the massive size of the recall and the difficulty getting the necessary parts. Frankly, the issue and solution is not that complicated! Call and schedule the service when you have the parts necessary to do the repair and stop scheduling repairs that you are not ready to perform! read more

BUYER BEWARE The moral of the story IMHO: Anyone purchasing an Audi with the 4.0 TSFI engine in it (S6/7, RS6/7, A8, S8) has 2 options if they don't want Audi leaving them out in the cold well things go wrong because of poorly designed/manufactured parts should EITHER buy the extended warranty package OR sell the vehicle when it reaches 40,000 miles. I got lucky, my S6 lasted almost 80,000 miles before needing repairs equal to 20% of it's original cost, that's twice as long as some of the other horror stories I've read about. The story: As a loyal Audi fan & customer, having purchased 20 new vehicles in the past 20 years for business and personal use, I feel obligated to share a recent experience with other consumers considering purchasing an Audi. In 2013 I purchased a new Audi S6 as well as 2 new Q5's. I typically expect to get about 100,000 miles out of any Audi before any major issues come up and this is especially true on a $100,000.00 "precision-engineered for performance" S6. At 60,000 miles the drivers side cam adjuster on my S6 shredded itself to pieces, that was a $2500 out-of-pocket fix. This is a known issue both online and within Audi. At Audi, this issue is known within the Techline circles (they are very careful to not let the techs put anything in writing). Since I can not rely on Audi to stand behind their product, I am now left praying that the passenger side cam adjuster doesn't shred itself as well. Now the S6 has 70,000 miles on it and the turbo shaft has desintigrated, causing the fans of both turbos to strike their respective turbo housings. Again, this should not happen on ANY car with less than 100,000 miles on it and is also a known issue within Audi circles, A quick Google search will bring up different Audi forums with cars having the same issue with as little as 44,000 miles on them. There is even a bulletin out for the techs (at least something in writing this time). Like with the cam adjuster issue, a recall for this kind of manufacturers fault is not in sight. Audi will not stand behind this design failure either. Their excuse in my case is a TD1 fault. A TD1 fault is an indication of the ECU being tampered with. For Audi, that "indication" is incontervertable proof of the vehicle being tuned, though I doubt that would hold up in court because this fault could also be caused by a techs own incompetence when the vehicle is being serviced. Either way, the vehicle was never tuned and certainly does not have a tune in it now. I would know, I'm the only owner the vehicle has ever had. When I asked if other vehichles with this problem were tuned or exhibited the same fault, I was told no they did not. Then today I was told they didn't have ANY cars with this issue. It's difficult to reconcile such contradicting information so, fortunately, direct information from the techs servicing the vehicles is not hard to come by, that's where the information on the bulletin comes from. So, to use a TD1 fault as an excuse when other vehicles not having a TD1 fault are having identical issues is a poor business practice at best and intentional slimeball tactics at worst and should be taken into consideration by any potential customer. That being said, I was offered a very generous 10% discount on parts for my troubles. So not only will Audi not stand behind their product, they expect to make money fixing their design flaws??? That kind of reminds me of Audi in the 80's with all of the electrical problems they were having. I'd rather have Audi do the right thing and then be slapped in the face, at least then I could consider buying the next 20 vehicles from Audi. read more

I will never go back to this dealership again. The customer service is horrible. I called to ask a simple question 6 months after I spent 600 a month on a lease with them. Not only did I get bounced around for 30 minutes. The business manager could not of been more rude. I will never go back and would highly recommend you finding your new car elsewhere if you care at all about customer service. read more

The Manager worked on a deal and we were able to come up with an agreement. in the end they did they right thing and I have a beautiful Certified Vehicle. They also have a customer that will come back as well. read more

Janet Chan was the best salesperson I have ever dealt with, bar none. She's knowledgeable, down-to-earth and was just great to deal with. My wife and I were previously leaning towards buying a BMW but figured we would go down to Audi to test drive a Q7. From start to finish, Janet was amazing. First off, she put no pressure on us whatsoever which is a big plus and a rarity these days. She was incredibly patient and allowed us to take the car out for another test drive when we still were not sure which way to go. She then took us to the stock lot and allowed us to see all of the colors and versions of the vehicle. I really cannot say enough good things about our experience and were very pleased with the service buying our first Audi. read more

After obsessively reading car reviews for a month, narrowing down my selection and visiting several other dealerships, I can honestly say that meeting with Daniel was like a breath of fresh air: yes, I knew he wanted to make the sale, but his approach was more like a counselor trying to work with me than that of the dreaded used-car salesman pushing to close the deal. But then again, Weeks Pre-Owned Center doesn't sell just any old used car, they sell only the highest quality pre-owned vehicles, and their professionalism perfectly suits the higher-end makes they sell. I had to do a little bit of financial juggling between accounts and knew that this would take a few days, but Daniel, knowing how much I loved the car, eased my mind when he assured me that the car was indeed mine with what I had put down. We juggled funds considerably more quickly than expected and called Daniel Monday morning, saying that we were on our way to pick up the car, about three days earlier than expected. When we arrived, the car was in the bay receiving its final checks and cleaning, and we completed the sales process with Daniel and Jenn, the finance manager. Again, all went smoothly, with all questions being answered, and none of the pressure normally associated with purchasing a car. Before long, Daniel was out showing us all the functions and features of my new car. We drove from our home in Pennsylvania to Weeks in Connecticut, something I never thought I would do to buy a car, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. This is the first time in all my years of buying cars, mostly new, that I can say that the experience was pleasurable. I had a loaner so I could get things done, the car was ready in exactly 90 minutes as estimated, they found a nail in a tire (explaining the tire inflation warnings) which they removed and plugged at no charge, and everyone was lovely and welcoming. I have been a customer since 2015. My experiences were ok until my last "service visit" in mid September. I arrived to drop off my car, for service, and was shuffled from one service advisor to the next and made to feel like I was a bother instead of a customer, I chalked it up to everyone's entitled to a bad day. When I came to pick my car up it was no better. I was contemplating buying a new car until I had another bad experience with the service advisor. When I dropped my car off I explained that I had a rattle in the rear of my car, when I picked my car up I was told I had a box of golf balls in the trunk and that was my rattle, the rattle is still there and the golf balls have been removed. When I went to put something in my trunk I found my trunk to be apart, when I went back to tell the service advisor, again, I felt like I was bothering him. When I explained to him I was disappointed in his attitude he told me he had a headache. I called and spoke with the general Mgr. and received a "sorry and that should not happen". Needless to say I did not buy a car from Danbury Audi that day. read more

I recently moved to Connecticut and before discovering Danbury Audi, I used Greenwich Audi. My experience there was pitiful and I had decided I would need to trade in my Audi long before I had wanted simply to avoid the experience of Greenwich Audi again. Thankfully, I discovered Danbury Audi - just couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. So polite. I know very little about my car and they treat me with the utmost respect and I never wonder if they are taking advantage. The service has been outstanding. I take my car in for service and it consistently operates like new - no residual issues, no callbacks - just perfect. When I took my car to Greenwich, invariably, I would get the car back and something else would be wrong. Well worth the 45 minute drive! I had to do the 15,000 mile service, and I called the four dealerships closest to me for price quotes. The Danbury location was the furthest away from me, but the woman who answered was by far the friendliest. Also, her quote was by far the best (and a hundred dollars cheaper than one of the other quotes). From the moment I entered, I was treated with kindness and respect by everyone I saw. I waited for my car, and the waiting area was clean with a cappuccino machine and snack area, wifi, and tv and office-type space. Gabriel, my service advisor, was very personable, efficient, and knowledgeable. Service was also quick. I can't imagine going anywhere else!!! read more

One of the main reasons I love my Audi is because of the outstanding service I have always received from Dave at Danbury Audi. So when it came time to replace my son's car, I never considered shopping anywhere else. I started looking at the certified Pre-owned cars, and ended up getting my son a great A3, but also got a new A3 convertible for myself. I got a good trade-in value for my older car, and I just couldn't resist. Janet was just great, finding ways to save me even more, and then she spent a lot of time with me helping me to get to know all of the amazing features of my new baby. Not a great experience! I've had two issues and several small ones. They had my car over 6 weeks in total to fix two problems. My heating system didn't work at all and they said it was fixed each time I brought it back - no heat in the winter! Finally, I drove the car to the dealership with the heat on the highest setting and the frigid air blowing and I think they believed me and it was finally fixed, but it was a big inconvenience of not having my Q7 and not being able to use it in the winter. The other issue was that the car made a horrible noise and again after the third attempt - seems three's a charm with this dealership, it was fixed. They told me that it was fine and there was no issue. The last time I picked up the car it was making the same noise as soon as I got into the car. I went back into the dealership and took a manager on a test drive - the noise was quite apparent. He told me that he drove my car everyday for a week and it made no noise - WOW! Lucky it always made it for me and love the fact that my car was used as someone's loaner! The dealership never contacted me - not once about my issue for a $50k+ car - no note, no apology, no recognition that I had a problem. Things go wrong and that's understandable, but how a dealership responses is critical to me as a customer. I was interested in the A8, but after this level of customer service, or should I say lack of, I decide to go with a Mercedes S550 again. Anyone interested in a Q7? read more
