While the sales staff at Audi Nashville were generally pleasant to work with, the financing department ultimately cost them this sale. I came to the dealership with financing from Pentagon Federal Credit Union (PenFed). Initially, Audi Nashville refused to accept PenFed's check because it was made payable to both me and Audi. I had a second check reissued and overnighted to me, made payable to Audi only. That check was then rejected as well because of endorsement language on the back that, according to Slava in the finance department, they "could not agree to." This was communicated rudely, and when I said that it seemed there was no deal, he appeared completely unconcerned. I contacted Darryl, the sales manager, to explain both the situation and my treatment. To his credit, he attempted to salvage the deal by seeing if Audi could match my PenFed financing. While they did not match the rate, they made concessions that made the deal worthwhile and assured me I would be working with someone else in finance. I completed the loan application and, due to scheduling constraints, arranged to return the following Monday to finalize everything. I communicated with Ella in financing beforehand to confirm timing so there would be no issues when I arrived. Unfortunately, when I arrived for what should have been the final step--my third trip to the dealership--I encountered yet another obstacle. Brandon from financing informed me that the loan they had set up through Ascend Credit Union required additional identity verification because my last name is Spanish and there is "often confusion with Spanish surnames." I was asked if I had my Social Security card with me (which I did not, because it is not good practice to carry one), and they also required income verification. My question is simple: why was none of this communicated to me in advance? They were not prepared for my arrival, did not have their requirements clearly defined ahead of time, and once again put me in a position of wasted time and frustration. Brandon suggested applying for another loan, but acknowledged they would not be able to match the Ascend rate--which was already a full point higher than my PenFed financing. At that point, I was done. The financing department lost this sale. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I had a perfectly valid, well-established lender--PenFed, an institution that has existed since the 1930s--ready to fund the purchase. The comment about my Spanish last name also struck me as uncomfortably close to racial profiling. Are customers named "Smith" routinely asked to bring extra documentation because there are many Smiths? Audi Nashville has quality vehicles and capable sales staff, but their financing process was disorganized, poorly communicated, and ultimately unacceptable. I would strongly caution buyers to clarify every financing requirement in writing before making the trip--or consider arranging financing elsewhere entirely. read more

I purchased a brand new 2023 car from them with less than miles on it. Well, about 18 months later and with 4600 miles on the car the tires started to dry rot. I have to replace all four tires with only 4600 miles on them! It makes me wonder if they switched out the tires for older tires. I have no idea what happened, but that's the only explanation I can think of. We keep it parked in the garage. And I keep it in a humidity controlled environment. My other cars do not have this issue. I was also told that we would get a loaner car when we took it in for service. However, later, when we went to get it serviced for the first time, they told me no loaner cars were available. read more

I like a sucker saw their reviews when I bought my Audi off a different dealership.... I had an oil change light come up, decided to go to a different "more reliable garage" with better reviews that handled only "European" cars. I lost my bag on it that move... little did I know I had a prepaid "maintenance package" with the car however the other company didn't tell me about. I brought it in for an oil change initially.... $2600 for a service that was already paid for they charged me for. later At any rate when I reluctantly brought it into the dealer in Brentwood I was nervous but let me tell you Lindsey set me up & straight as an arrow. They totally took care of me top to bottom in and out. I can't say enough. I just wish I brought it to them earlier. Excellent customer service all the way around... communicating, sending videos to me when they were diagnosing the car, to the texts that came daily not to mention the loaner they gave me. Experience was horrible. The definition of why people hate car dealers. Number kept changing. Initially not their fault, Audi financial came in at a higher tier. When I pushed back that is when they got ugly. First sales manager was not a people person. I tried to work with the on options that would be workable for me, and it was clear they did not want to do that. I initially left after driving the car and being underwhelmed. I decided to look again and try a different model and accept a higher payment. Friday, numbers were close. Saturday I went downtown to look at the car and drive it, was ready to finalize and sign. Number changed again. Got a story about trade value dropping because another dealer had gotten a payoff quote. I walked out reached back out to Brentwood giving it one more chance. They did it too. Dropped the trade another 2k. I guess the got another quote. That would s shady and questionable, but it is a Sonic dealership. I paid a little more but got a better deal on a higher trim level by going out of state and using a Hendrick dealership. Will not go back to any Sonic dealer. read more

I had THE BEST experience at Audi Nashville's Downtown Service Department last Friday afternoon. I was driving through Nashville in my 2024 Audi C7 on a road trip when I got an error code message on my dashboard requiring immediate service. Jay was my service advisor and immediately came to my rescue. He said that he would do whatever he could to try to get me back on the road as early as possible. He immediately sent the car to the service technician to diagnose the issue. After about 30 minutes, he informed me that he felt like the issue was a software issue , and that they would reload the software. After only about 20 minutes, he returned to tell me that he felt that the software issue was solved and got me back on the road. I could tell that the service department was very busy but they took the time to squeeze me in. I can't tell you how pleased and impressed I am with the level of service at this shop. I would highly recommend anyone to have their Audi serviced at the downtown Nashville Audi store. My thanks to Jay and the service technician for their prompt attention to my problem. read more

Purchased a new Audi a couple of months ago. Had a warning light on and a couple of minor things to fix. First scheduled an appointment and reconfirmed the day prior for a loaner. All was good until the morning told no loaner. Rescheduled, to in a month later with same issues now have been told that the warning light is a sensor, and something must have hit it and there will be a charge of $600. I thought it was an error, so I contacted the GM Robert Hartman which was driving the fact that I had to pay, or they would not fix. I explained the light has been on, but he refused to hear me. I needed to fix a rear reflector that got damaged on my way to Tennessee from California. I sold Audi's in Livermore California. I have to say CJ a service advisor was such a great service adviser. Very friendly and professional. To be honest the whole staff was great. I had to bring my side kick Ronnie with me. She is my Red nose Pitt. Everyone treated her as well with kindness. I would recommend any Audi owner to visit this Audi dealership for service or to purchase a vehicle. I wish I did not live so far away. Or I would love to sale Audi's for them. Worst experience I've ever had. I brought my Audi A4 to fix the Bluetooth connection and change the oil. They asked me to do rotation service. Before receiving my car, they thoroughly checked everything around the car and the outside of the car. I got my car back 3 days later at 5.30 PM, they close at 6 PM, drove home to check everything and I saw something bad happened to my car. I took a picture and sent it to them right away. You can see they scratched all 4 of my wheels. they disclaim responsibility and claim that it is not their fault that they perform the rotation service. this is the worst experience I've ever had, I can't imagine it happening in Audi and in Nashville. On google review they are rated 5 stars and good reviews, maybe they have deleted honest comments about them, I am concerned that they will intervene to delete the comments on yelp. the manager is extremely impolite and discriminatory maybe i am asian and my english is not good. Can you give less than 1 star? My mom has a Q7 diesel she loves. This service department is so awful that I have been begging her to sell the car and get something that can be serviced. Over the last 10 years they have 1. Charged for an oil change and not done it. 2. Charged for for ad blue and not added it on more than one occasion forcing her to find a dealership hundreds and once thousands of miles from home. On one of these occasions she discovered they not only failed to add the ad blue they also stole her specialized tool to open the ad blue tank. 3. Failed to inflate tires or reset sensors. A few weeks ago she brought the car in for service and had her brake fluids flushed. I begged her to bring it somewhere else. After driving less than 50 Miles all the break warning lights are going off and the car is making a burning chemical smell. They refuse to refund her money, and she needs to find a new mechanic. If you have an Audi and live in Nashville, do not have it serviced here. read more

Similar experience to other reviewers. Found a car on their website, I called the main number and was transferred to Kensey in Sales. I mentioned that I was already pre approved by USAA and that I just need a quote for the car, with any fees, taxes, registration and any other fees the dealer adds to the sale and if the number is reasonable, I can bring in my bank draft and make the deal. Well, she took all of my information and that someone would get back to me. I waited an houR. There were no calls. In retrospect, I should have taken this as a sign to look elsewhere however I decided to call them again and contacted Kensey. She apologized and assured my someone will call with details. A few minutes later, I got a call from an individual (her Sales Manager), and he mentioned that he is working on the price. Wow, over an hour to work on a price that was already listed on their website? Perhaps, they were using an abacus and slide rule. I am unsure of why it was so difficult to provide a price. Regardless, I was then told that they do not accept USAA because of the stipulations on car loans. I mentioned that I banked with USAA for over 20 years and purchased many, many vehicles with them and have never heard of "Loan Stipulations". I immediately thought they must be trying to force me to use their in-house financing options in order for them to receive additional dealer incentives. However, I did ask to explain what "Loan Stipulations" he was referring to and he, as expected, could not. i then proceeded to tell him there are no loan stipulations. USAA provides one of the easiest loan funding processes. I was then told he was not going to argue with me and that another sales manager will contact me. What a tool! After he hung up, I then called the USAA loan department and discussed my experience with a loan customer service rep and was told there are no stipulations and that I should be cautious and do my due diligence with this dealer. I asked is it possible to setup a conference call with the dealer and the USAA loan department and of course they said yes. Coincidently, while I was on the phone with USAA, the Dealer called me back and... uh oh ... somebody is going to get caught lying.... I put USAA on hold, answered the call and mentioned that I have the bank on the other line and they would love to speak with the dealership. Next, I merged the calls and again, as expected, the sales or finance manager immediately hung up. Hilarious! Well, lesson learned, I should have read prior reviews. You may want to do your own due diligence prior to dealing with dealership; or at least the sales department. This whole experience reaffirms the notion of why the dealer model is an old, outdated, awful and broken sales experience. Dear Audi of Nashville - have you considered adding a customer service course for the sales department and maybe focusing on honesty? It would have been so much faster for you to simply say: "We want to finance all of our cars so we can earn additional incentives and kickbacks." Instead, they simply lied about my bank and the process. Shameful. Note: This review is my experience only. Though, it is eerily similar to others. Not mad, just disappointed. My friend is a single mom and needed reliable transportation. She found a used Q3 and absolutely loved it. For nearly two days she couldn't get anyone to return a phone call even though she was ready to buy. That was very frustrating. Then, they refused to negotiate on the price of the new car or the value of her trade-in. They only took $3,000 off the new MSRP sticker price of the Q3 she was looking at even though it was a year old and had 15,000 miles. Then, they offered her $5K for her trade-in and refused to budge (which they sold a week later for $10,995). I completely understand the need to make a profit, but they were willing to walk away from a deal rather than work to reduce her payment by $11 per month to meet her goal. I have never been to a car dealership that refused to negotiate whatsoever. We won't be buying another car here. read more

While I have not purchased a car from a dealer in about 20 years, I must say that I've never had a better dealer experience than I had today at Audi of Nashville. Leo sold us a Sienna van. He was professional, cordial, and took great care of me and my family. He and the lady up front occupied our 3 kids that were with us for the experience the entire time we were there. We had been searching for a van for a while, and they were one of the only ones willing to work with us a little bit on the price. I am an auto claims adjuster and have visited numerous shops, mainly the service departments, but Audi seems to be at the top for customer service. In my experience here after owning 5 Audis over several years is that it doesn't really matter if you have been part of the Audi "family". Everyone is treated the same way here as any new buyer who might walk into a Sonic dealership. "The price is the price,....maybe could move a few hundred dollars" I was told multiple times by a few different salespeople. They didn't seem to care whether I was a loyal Audi customer or someone who didn't know how to spell the name! I also looked at the trade in value of a prestige A6 and was told 17k only to sell it to Carvana for 21k!!!!! My daughter bought a Ford at the same time I bought my Audi and their customer service rocked! They even sent her a lovely mug with cookies in it in the mail. I almost got put in jail due to the Audi sales department! I had a hard time getting hold of anyone to discuss this. They did absolutely nothing to correct it, and didn't even apologize. We bought a car from Audi of Nashville, we were told the car had been serviced, and while we were there the transmission wouldn't go into reverse, so Jason one of the mangers there got in the car and say he took care of it so we drove the home. Only to realize it wouldn't run right, so we called Mercedes service took it in for them to check it out, we find out the 140 or 94 point check didn't check the transmission, we called Jason to let him know how deceptive that was three days without the car we told Jason it was three liters Down in transmission fluid! He Apologized and said he would come up with some kind of compensation only to pull another dealership trick! Nothing we can do, I reminded him that if we would have taken a trip and the transmission would have burned up we would have been out of a lot of money. How do a dealership sell anyone a car that is not road worthy after telling them they done a multi check on the vehicle just to sell a vehicle! People beware of Audi of Nashville I'll never go back even though young Kim was a nice guy. I never write reviews because I just know people have personal things going on and we are all human. But He has no customer service, he is short and rude when you ask him questions, he refused to go into detail about my bill after warranty covered. Basically told me what I had to pay and it was his way or no way. My fiancé had to talk to him on the phone, who is a master mechanic at Rolls Royce. He said that was probably the WORST service he's ever dealt with and he's dealt with them all over the world. Had to get my airbags done since it was part of a recall. It took about two hours for them to do the airbags and washed the car. They did an amazing job on cleaning the car. I keep it pretty clean myself BC I'm a neat freak anyways but I was impressed on the wash. They also checked everything and even filled my fluids and aired up my tires. It would of been way better if I had a loaner car to go around and shop and run errands instead of having to wait. The salesman Trey explained everything about the car and while the times with COVID were high everyone was prepared with gloves, sanitizer, keeping their distance and most importantly making sure I was comfortable the whole time. I was pretty dramatic on my last review of Audi Nashville bc I left with a bad feeling mainly due to my frustrations dealing with Audi in regards to my diesel TDI Q5 and my perception of how I was being treated. Robert the GM at Audi Nashville to his credit reached out to my wife and offered to make things right to the best of his abilities. I was skeptical but my wife dragged me into Audi because she has enjoyed driving Audis. My wife was right and I have to give tons of credit to Robert and Tim (client advisor) for doing everything they could do to help make things right to keep us as Audi drivers. Quite frankly, after having a sensible conversation with the people here at Audi of Nashville, it became evident that the dealers are stuck in the middle of the TDI diesel issues and want a fast resolution that will do right by the customers. Started off great. I test drove 2 vehicles and decided to purchase the second vehicle. For context (I drove 45 miles from Clarksville to test drive a car that when got there I was told had transmission problems and therefore was not an option). You would think that because the salesman told me this that I would be at ease and more trusting. He was courteous and polite. Very nice kid but.. He's a salesman so he did his job. However, I've got my own financing and don't need you to broker me to your team of bank gangsters. Finally, the finance guy came to rescue the young salesman since I asked a lot of questions (we'll call him Mr. K.N., He arrives and introduces himself and after continuously telling me my banks financing was problematic for him, he sharply says to me "Let me tell you how this works" looking me straight in the face as if I have not already purchased more than 10 cars in my adult life. I humored him for his passion for lying to a customer and assuming that "I knew nothing". He kept asking how much money I was going to put down, and I asked him why, just tell me if you can compete with my banks APR because I have my own financing. In other words' ZERO' (Mr. K.N.) The lady at the other clients desk overhead his banter and we spoke of it once "Mr. Know Nothing" left. He must have had a goal that day on crushing the standard of displaying his lack of business ethics. Long story short, He did not want to work with USAA Financing because and I quote the finance guy (Mr. K.N.) "We cannot promise to deliver the required documents on time to the bank). Freaking SAD, that he would even tell me that and then want to run my credit again. Bottom line, He was a piece of work! So now they don't get a guaranteed sale today or ever in the future. I bought a NEW 2020 Audi Q8 off the show room floor and I only drive the SUV on the wknds. I've NEVER had any problems with the vehicle except a recall issue that the dealership did fix for free in 2022. Currently my car has 25,000 miles on it. I have driven it to North Dallas from nashville 3 times since 2022, and that's the longest distance I have driven the vehicle. After a visit this past week, I had a flat tire on the freeway in Texas , I put the spare on and drove it to the nearest Audi dealer 7 min away. After they assessed the tire they noticed my tire had been plugged and felt whatever I hit , it dislodged a piece of the plug and that caused the tire to go flat. I have NEVER had a flat tire since owning this vehicle ,as it was brand new in 2020 when I bought it . Actually, I've NEVER had a FLAT TIRE in the history of my 40 years driving! Also, I was told by the technician at the texas dealership that those tires are not made to be plugged. I've had my vehicle serviced and tires rotated this year and nothing was noted my tire was plugged. So I called the sales manager at Brentwood Audi and he almost argued that they didn't do it- well the tire obviously had been plugged before it was sold to me, I'm not accusing their service department for plugging it , I'm upset that it was sold to me with a damaged tire that I wasn't aware of, off the show room floor . The sales manager Jason ,told me he would call me back after he spoke to his superior about the issue and also stated he wasn't employed there when I purchased my vehicle ,which is irrelevant - this was approx 1-2pm on Thursday 5/18/23..I never received a call back. I called on Friday, the next day and was sent to his voice mail . Finally spoke to a service manager who couldn't help me and said I could leave a message for Jason he was off work that day! He also said he didn't see any notes about a tire issue or any note that I talked to Jason. So Jason ,I'm assuming disregarded my complaint and never tried to respond back. Today is Monday 5/22/2023, I'm hoping I will get a response and they take accountability for selling me a New Vehicle off the show room floor with a damaged tire, that wasn't supposed to be plugged . I would like to at least be partially reimbursed for the tire I had to purchase. I have pictures of the tire that obviously shows it's been plugged. I NEVER get tires plugged. If I have a bad tire I replace the tire - plugging is a cheap cover up fix , my personal opinion, that will eventually cause you to purchase a new tire ,regardless. So I'm hoping Brentwood Audi will take responsibility for their mishap. I don't know the logistics of what transpires before a vehicle arrives to the showroom floor, but everything should be WITHOUT damage , if there is an issue ,it should be disclosed to the buyer and repaired with the buyer being aware . read more

Karen Dudash is the best salesperson I have worked with in my life (and believe me, I've worked with MANY!--- I was a NYC real estate broker for 7 years!!) Getting your dream car at a sweetheart deal is one thing ---- scoring a salesperson who actually puts your best interest in front of theirs? That's priceless. Karen went above and beyond in answering all my questions and even went so far as to offer me a ride from my apartment that I had just leased 3 days prior to going to Audi as I was moving straight from NYC and my rental car was due. I mean, who does that?! Furthermore, Karen spent 5 hours with me in the dealership the previous day in helping me sort out whether or not Paying the lease upfront would be ideal or otherwise.... she also helped me in customizing the car insurance as apparently it's REALLY HARD to do on the fly when youve never owned a car (HELLO I've lived in NYC for 15 years!) and have a NYS drivers license. Car dealerships are a dime a dozen.... great deals are everywhere.... as for a good salesperson who doesn't try to spin you and show you things you shouldn't be looking at?
