Went in for an appointment that I set up and told him I needed the dash looked at because it was coming up on a 2023 Acura tlx and also an oil change....car had 23460 miles on it when I set the appointment. Well he set it for 2 weeks out and it was the soonest it could be done. SO ok.. Got there. Well we don't do anything but oil changes on Saturdays. The main reason I went there was for the dash. Mind you its a hour and half drive away from where I live. So I was little upset and said ok well the oil change is free so I will just get that...Then next response well its has 26000 miles on it so I cannot cover that.. I called their dealership when I was looking to purchase a used Acura and was passed around, but never got answers to my questions. I purchased somewhere else where I was treated with respect and love my Acura. Recently, I received notice of a necessary recall repair/ issue, which requires servicing from an Acura dealer. I called and got the runaround, left my number, as requested, but to this date have never received a call back from the service department. I, too, am in sales. The difference is, that I always return phone calls or texts from potential or existing clients. I feel certain there are some wonderful folks who work there in each department, but your training for ALL must be missing some important elements. read more

Do not use for service. Gary Force Acura had my car in for a recall and pushed my wife to complete a long term service. I spoke to the technician and told him to hold off and get approval as I was going to get quotes for the service. I was never contacted. After giving them the competitive quote, a feeble effort was made to match the price. Would highly recommend going to Daryl Waltrip Honda for all Acura service. Prices are more than 20 percent lower using the same OEM parts with much better service. read more

Worst service dept. Don't bother buying bumper to bumper warranty. Service dept will find every loophole to make you pay out of pocket-your issue will be a maintenance issue even though it's clearly not working. Service manager sucks. She's an idiot. Felt unwelcome as the staff saw me as an inconvenience when I asked for help telling me how busy they were moving cars. Cameron makes sure to make you feel like an idiot right away, so might want to avoid him. Told me I couldn't test drive without a credit app and then proceeds to scrape the front bumper of a brand new Intergra Type S across an asphalt incline as he gasses it away from me to put in the showroom. Way to go buddy! How did that feel? And to Gary Force Acura, what a weak salesman you got there, keeping up company face I see! The scraped up Intergra Type S is the liquid carbon one on showroom with black seats by the way. Money could be better spent elsewhere people. These boys are laughable. read more

I had an appointment for 10;15 AM and I arrived at 10:00AM for just an oil change for my 2017 Acura RDX. It too two hours to get this done. I left at 12:00 noon and they charged $134.00 dollars for the oil change. I will not be going back to this dealership. It took too long and they charged too much for a simple oil change. read more

Came in today to get information on a new Acura as I've owned 3 Acura sedans in the past. . Upon arrival we were greeted by someone but he quickly lost interest as it seemed I was jumping between models(I did mention I was in my researching phase) He was no where to be found when I had questions about a model. There were 3 other attendants there who made me feel I was bothering them with my inquiry which was answered abruptly. I left feeling disappointed in Acura in general. I purchased my Acura TLX from Gary Force in November of 2019. The buying experience was fine. A year later, I decided to have my oil change/tire rotation completed with Gary Force. I remembered my salesman saying the Acura service isn't much difference in price from the Honda service. Not true! The service at Honda was about 40% less expensive and took a fraction of the time. Gallatin Honda is far more convenient for me, but because I purchased my car from Gary Force, I decided to make the drive to Brentwood to get it serviced. What a mistake! My appointment was scheduled for 10a. When I arrived in the service garage it took staff 25 minutes just to greet me and take my car back. Strike one. The service took 3 hours! My invoice said car was checked in at 10:30a and out at 12:30p. I arrived at 10a and left at 1p. It took 30 minutes for the car to be registered and 30 minutes for it to be washed after service. 3 hours is too long for a oil change/tire rotation with an appointment. Strike two. Finally, I waited for my car in the Acura customer lobby. I was never updated on progress. I had to ask for an update after I had been there two and a half hours. Strike three. read more

I recently had a warranty repair issue with my Acura and contacted this dealership. After verifying the VIN number and my information they immediately informed me that the repair was under warranty, and that they would set up an appointment as soon as possible. They ensured that I would have a loaner vehicle for the duration of the repair. They were very friendly, professional, and were committed to fixing the problem. The day I brought in my vehicle they were very friendly and accommodating, and quickly got me back on the road with the loaner vehicle. I noticed that I was in need of a scheduled service, so they made sure they could get that completed while I had the loaner vehicle. The A12 service is a pretty comprehensive level of fluid changes, inspections, and necessary adjustments or repairs. When I picked up my vehicle the service associate was very informative, and asked if I'd like to inspect the warranty work before settling my work order for the rest of the service and repairs. He went line by line through the itemized work order to make sure I was informed of all of the service completed, and took special care to inform me of the warranty on replaced parts. He repeated that I needed to have information on my work order available for the dealership battery warranty. I'm very happy with the warranty work and the service completed, and my first impression of the Gary Force Acura service team is that these folks are competent friendly professionals committed to exceptional service. I can see by the reviews, I'm not the only one who is gravely disappointed in this dealership's service department!!! My car is an MDX that's been serviced there for over a decade. At first, they were great. Now, terrible. I have a weird random problem with the back drivers side window that just rolls down when I start the car. It will eventually roll up, but we don't know when. Every single time we call for a service need, it's ALWAYS a week before there's a loaner available. It's RIDICULOUS. So, once again, I have to wait a WEEK with my window down. Or, tape plastic on my car again & scratch the glass & paint getting it all off. Or, maybe I'll talk my husband into getting me an Infinity, whose service department ALWAYS has a loaner & it's NOT argumentative & RUDE to their customers!!!!! My absolute LAST Acura!!! My advice, buy the Infinity, you'll be much happier! EDIT: After posting this, I was contacted by their service manager, Joey Trail. We were able to reach a solution that will help me. I originally leased a car from Gary Force Acura 6 years ago. The first 4 years were a dream. They went over and above to take care of me. Unfortunately, the past two years have been a nightmare. I have constantly been pushed around, the service department has been rude and misguided me on decisions and overall it has been a terrible experience. Not only have I had an awful experience, I have spoken to the manager of the store and nothing has even been done to make my bad situations right. When I first started leasing I raved about my Acura experience to everyone I talked to about cars. Now, because of the way they treated me, they have lost of what could have been a customer for life. My lease is up in a month and I will not be returning. I will be switching to a competitor with better service, better prices and better styling. I've been bringing my MDX here for regular maintenance since I bought it, but not anymore. My husband called to schedule an appointment for an issue and was given a 12 noon time. When he got there at 12 he was told they're not going to get to it for another 2 hours. Then my husband asked if he'll be able to have the car back by the time they close, they said no. If I could leave less than one star for this place, I certainly would. We bought our used "CERTIFIED" Acura MDX in October 2023. In less than 8 months, the air conditioning went out, costing us about $1200, then less than 2 weeks later the engine COMPLETELY dies, costing us $8100 to replace. Now we know why they were going to such extreme lengths to try and sell us the extended warranty when we purchased it. The sales lady was even rude to us for not buying it! We have never bought extended warranties on any of the vehicles we have ever owned and we never have had any problems other than very minor, inexpensive issues. I had a Honda Pilot that I drove to 300,000 miles and never had anything go wrong with it other than the air conditioning going out at 250,000 miles! The engine was still excellent!! The ENGINE and the AIR both went out on this piece of crap car at less than 100,000 miles. Now we are out $10,000 on a "certified" vehicle that I have no confidence in whatsoever. The service department, sales and management teams were the most rude, argumentative, arrogant people I have ever dealt with in my life AND when we picked the car up, they didn't even bother to wash it or clean it after having it there for a MONTH!! They lied and said they did, but the car had not been cleaned AT ALL. It even took them over a week to get us a rental car which is part of their "service" if your car is being serviced in their shop!!! Another HUGE inconvenience! I write this review as a warning to other folks to not be deceived by their "certified" used cars and "excellent" customer service. It's all a lie. I am hoping to save others from the hassle, inconvenience, stress AND the MAJOR expense we had to deal with at Gary Force Acura. Their cars are nothing but certified lemons and they will lie to you to get you to purchase a vehicle. This place has no integrity at all and they were not willing to take anything off other than the sales tax, which wasn't much at all. Warning. DO NOT purchase your vehicle from this dealership unless you want to put more money into it than what it's worth! read more

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I was looking for something very specific with limited buying power. I reached out on a Wednesday afternoon to inquire about the price on an Acura listed online that was just traded in. There was only 1 pic available and limited information. David got back to me within minutes. I couldn't make it out that day to test drive so he was willing to bring the car to me. Knowing I had limited buying power, I applied online before test driving and they called with an approval the same day. I was shocked... they even lowered the price to get me within buying power. The next day, David picked me up from work and we went to my mechanic to have to the car checked. Everything came back good - even the mechanic wanted to purchase the car. I did a test drive and loved it. I signed the papers and drove home with the car same day. From the initial inquiry to driving the car home was about a 24 hour turn around. The entire process was great. I never felt like someone was SELLING me something. I never felt pressured. Everything went smoothly. It was really a great process. Hats off to David and CJ for making things work out for me. We all need angels in our lives from time to time. I'm convinced they are mine. I will update my post if my car breaks down or blows up in the next few months, but if you don't hear from me - assume all is still fantastic! read more

Our first and definitely LAST time we are servicing our son's car here. We dropped off close to 2 PM, was promised that it'll be done in 2 hours. Went to the mall and called around 2 hours later to be told that it's only 2 hours if we wait?! What!! The car wasn't ready until 5:40! No apologies, no explanation, and extremely rude service. This is my son's first car and first oil change, and it was a horrible experience. Will not be back for service or purchase when we upgrade him to a TL. read more

I hit a pothole while driving from Chicago to Florida. I blow out my tire and ruined my wheel. I was towed into Gary Force an hour before the Service department closed. Because of the time of the day I didn't have high expectations, But the service department's response was incredible. They went above and beyond. They didn't have my wheel in stock but knowing I would've been stranded there for three days till the wheel showed up. Tony from service and Jim from parts scoured the the lot to find a new RDX with my same wheel. They contact Joel the Service and parts Director and got permission to take a Wheel from a car in the lot and put it on my car so I could get on my way. In a little over an hour I was on my way south to Florida I can't say enough about these three gentlemen. I would highly recommend Gary Force Acura to anyone. That commitment to service is was exceptional. They really cared and they treated me like family. read more

I went with boyfriend to test drive the TSX. We were greeted immediately by Charles, the nicest salesman I've ever had the priveledge of meeting. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to drive around the countryside and meet two new people. It seemed that selling cars was the perk to his job! The entire staff was no different. Boyfriend and I went back to make a deal just two days later, which definitely says something (I usually don't trust anybody trying to sell me something). While these cars practically sell themselves, there was a no nonsense, friendly approach that made boyfriend feel very comfortable and happy with his decision. They offer their customers $30 oil changes, which comes with a free car wash and vacuum. Not bad! Really though, I was just in it for the free popcorn. read more

The service department is an absolute disaster. I purchased my Acura out of town when I lived some place else. I absolutely LOVE my Acura and really wish there was another dealership to take it to in town. Unlike other luxury car service departments, there are no loaner cars, and only occasionally a shuttle. This is particularly problematic since the dealership couldn't be farther away from downtown. The service always takes hours longer than originally estimated, and the service managers don't communicate with you when service is completed. The level of service here is inexcusable for a dealership in the business of selling $50,000+ cars. read more

I brought my car in after a complete failure while driving on the highway and was told by Tim that there was nothing wrong with it because it was currently running and that it was probably just because "of the way I drive", being a female driver. A month later it did it again and they found that the transmission control needed to be replaced. When I picked it up, my car was driving very rough. I have been driving Acura and Honda for decades and had never experienced this kind of rough driving. I called and told them to which they replied "give it time and it's probably just the way you're driving it". I made an appointment anyway to bring it back the following week to be looked at. A few days later Tim at the dealership called, cancelled my appointment saying there was nothing wrong with the car, give it time, it was just the way I was driving it. A week later it wouldn't start again. I brought it back in and they said there was clearly an electrical issue with the car but they (the dealership) had no way to diagnose it and that I should seek an electrical diagnostic specialist. I did that and the electrical specialist found the issue in 2 hours. I brought the car back to the dealership with the diagnostic information at which time the service director, Joel Trail, said he didn't believe it, there was nothing wrong with the car, and they wouldn't look at it and had no way of diagnosing it or fixing it, after HE is the one who asked me to bring it in again. He then brought me back to his office as entertainment for his staff to watch as he told me he didn't believe there was an issue, despite me having proof from the electrical specialist. Gary Force does terrible business. I am now in the process of selling my Acura so I never have to deal with Gary Force Acura again. I have also filed a complaint with corporate and look forward to hearing back about a resolution. read more

A good experience with a warranty claim, a tire /wheel replacement, and a mysterious coolant leak. Concerning the warranty claim- they took care of it at no charge. The wheel replacement was a bit pricey, but reasonable for an OEM wheel. The replacement tire was sold with a great guarantee, and at a very good price. Installation costs were very good. Something odd happened here to a coolant hose, they repaired it , but would not honor the warranty. The charge was actually small, and I feel that they were honest with me. The problem is that they encountered an unusual situation , but then failed to fully explain it. With all that said, I will do business with them again. I liked the service, the prices were good, the dealership is nice, and the people were knowledgeable and friendly. I just wish they were located a little closer to home. read more
