Initially, I called about the turbo lawsuit and spoke with Service Manager Kenny. He directed me to an Audit 1-800 number and, when asked about potential solutions, stated they would "Probably tell you to call your closest Audi dealership." This is unacceptable customer service! He then claimed my car wasn't part of the lawsuit, yet still advised me to jump through these hoops. Then continued to say the last time I allowed them the opportunity to fix, skipped the piston ring check, lets go straight to new engine, she is women anyways ... then I said okay, well I have an extened power train warranty ... guess what THEY DIDNT HONOR AND WANTED ME TO PAY HALF $5500 ..... WHAT A JOKE OF A DEALERSHIP!!!!! The customer service is terrible. This car isn't worth the hassle, and this dealership clearly doesn't care about its customers or doing what's right. Avoid buying a car from this dealership at all costs! I pray karma comes for them!!!!!!!!!! They will charge you min $3500 or more (they will claim its the engine all day long at 10K a pop) effing thiefs!!! This is for a friend that is dealing with them as we speak. The individual made an appointment to have the vehicle looked at a week ago. The vehicle was brought in on time. That was almost 2 days ago and for some reason their techs have still not bothered looking at it. Their communication has been horrid to boot. If you don't have the staff, don't make appointments you cannot keep. I am so thankful I do not own an Audi (we nearly purchased one a few years ago, glad we did not). I needed a second key for my 2024 Audi A6. I did the research and it's nearly impossible to get a replacement key without going to an Audi dealer. According to AudiUSA the replacement key is $460.71 plus tax and labor. Audi of Richmond parts department wanted to charge me $670 for a key that costs them $460. They also quoted me $200 for labor cost. That's nearly $900 for a key. No thanks. read more

Despite my efforts to resolve these matters amicably and directly, I have been met with indifference, avoidance, and what appears to be a complete failure of accountability on the part of the ************ Manager and **. My experience with Audi Richmond service department has been marked by negligence, unprofessionalism, arrogance, and a blatant disregard for customer care. I made several attempts to speak with the ** directly about these matters, including written messages and voicemail requests to meet with him, but he has not responded.Instead, he avoided me at every opportunity. I had a superb experience at the Audi Dealership in Charleston when I drove home and had a tire sensor go out, so I decided to have my 75k service on my used Audi done at the dealership vs my normal visit to CarMax. Here's what I liked: I made my appointment online and it was easy to change when I needed to reschedule. The dealership is beautiful! And the service was awesome. I was greeted immediately and the service person texted me to let me know the status of my car. They even sent a video with the diagnosis explained by the mechanic. My car was cleaned when I picked it up. First, let me explain that I bought my car used for $23k...a bargain for a Q7 with low miles. Even though it was used, I have taken great care of it and want to drive it for a long time. Since it's paid for, I don't mind spending a little more to have it serviced. All in the service was more than I expected to pay, but it was worth it k owing that it was done well. I travel a lot in the car and need it to be reliable. read more

I have a 2018 Audi Q5, my only problem with the service department is getting an appointment. I initially thought that I would be able to get in to get an oil change within 900 miles of an oil change. Not the case and even calling the shop nothing could be offered. Next oil change I called far in advance and they could "fit" me in for 3 months. My thoughts are if you can't even do oil changes how are you going to maintain my vehicle? I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical my first time in for service here. I had been jaded by previous bad experience at the Audi of Arlington, Va. The reviews were not bad, not great so my first time in for the Xenon bulb repair was not bad. I've been back several times for oil changes and I have to say, it's been an exceptional customer experience each time, mainly because of Christopher Alston, he's at the top of his Customer Service game and a great guy to work with. I just had an oil change on my Q5 and when you use the Executive drive in service, you get in and out quickly. They also give you a complimentary wash and clean inside and out and do a great job. I had a flat tire in my BMW with my 2 grandchildren and they were the closest place to pull into. Megan and Andrew were outstanding in helping me get back on the road and could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They fixed my flat in 2 hours! I'm on a road trip from SC to DE and they saved me- even the woman on the phone said they were overbooked. I recently purchased a 2012 Audi A4 from Richmond Audi, through salesperson Ken Paciocco, and had an absolutely wonderful experience! I had wanted this car for months, but when the clutch in my previous vehicle went, the search became more pressing! What is necessary to understand is that I live in Connecticut. As I need to drive a manual transmission vehicle for a multitude of reasons, my search was fruitless in my area. I decided to open up my distance parameters, and I found this car! Ken was extremely responsive, genial, and honestly excited about the prospect of getting me in this car!! He bucked the "used car salesman" trope from the first conversation. After getting off that first call, I turned to my boyfriend and said, "I found my car!!" Ken made the process SO simple. From start to finish, it went smoothly. I really didn't think it would go off without a hitch, but it was great! We were picked up at the airport and driven to the dealership, which was awesome, considering our flight was 90 min late. Ken met us right away, and my car had a big red bow on it. What every girl dreams of, lol! The finance department was able to get me an amazing interest rate, which was 16% lower than I was going to get with that horrid vending machine company! I wish I could remember the finance gentleman's name, but I'm blanking! He also made the process very smooth. In summary, I am now an Audi convert for life. When I am in the market for a new one, there is absolutely no possibility that I would go anywhere other than Richmond Audi! I have been bring my car there for about 3 years it was always awesome and pleasant. I was schedule two weeks out to get the recalls done...I was told to call one day before to make sure parts were available and was told "Yes, they are available." Drove one hour to get there to be told by Brad Reichwein the service manager we don't have the parts. Recalled the next day to complain to the service director and I was give back to Brad Reichwein, when I should have been talking to Mike Reynolds. Brad was very rude and matter of fact he needs to really be retrained in customer service.. He even had the nerve to tell me and I qoute ," Even if we had the parts we are not doing the recalls at this time because we have other work to do!" My question? This is an initial sales experience review only. My friend and I stopped in to look at vehicles. After a quick look at what was on the lot, I determined which one I was most interested in, and we went inside to take a closer look. We were swiftly greeted by Michael, who was warm and friendly, not at all a pushy salesman. He showed me the model I asked about, then showed me the next model up as a basis of comparison. He was patient and showed me every single feature of both, and explained in detail what everything was and how it worked, given the many bells and whistles on each model. He was thoroughly trained and had an answer for every question I had. During our test drive, he took me down a great set of roads that allowed me to test for quickness, agility, speed, responsiveness, turning radius... the whole nine. He encouraged me to drive it like it was already mine. Once back at the store, he provided me with all of the paperwork I asked for and then followed up with an e-mail the next day with even more information. I originally had a great review for this dealership when I first brought my car in for a new purchase car inspection as I planned to have my vehicle serviced at Richmond Audi. I have since removed that review and until now never left a bad review in hopes of having a good relationship with the dealership. I started having issues with my vehicle not long after getting my spark plugs changed by the dealership. During this time my vehicle started having engine noise that the dealership tried telling me was normal, could be your tires, tensioner chain not getting enough oil, could be the gas your using, etc. Multiple visits of bringing my car in for a check engine light that was on for long periods of time just to have the dealership reset the fault code to tell me they cannot reproduce the issue, that the light has to be on to diagnose. Then why is it being reset without pulling the codes? On the two hour commute the check engine light would come back on and I would have to wait additional extended periods of time to get another appointment. Advised the service department that the light came back on 10 minutes after leaving the dealership to a reply of "figures". Had a very heated argument at one point to where the I had to pause and tell a manger, excuse me sir is that how you talk to your customers? With a reply of yes, you are trying to tell us we do not know what we are doing. Where I stated ok tell me right now what is wrong with my car? Are you 100% there is no issue. Of course he could not guarantee there was not an issue. This is after many Audi Service chats during my time of service where I have had to request from service engine codes and telling them what parts correlate to the codes, mentioning a tsb to a technician who could not find out what was going on with my vehicle. The lack of technical service continues even further with messages of "there is definitely an issue we are just trying to tack it down". Another message stating "we have no good direction to go in with your vehicle". Being recommended a list of parts that could possibly be causing my issue stating, "here is the estimate sheet for a part replacement if you wanted to move forward trying a part, no guarantee this is it or only it". If these were people working for me I would definitely have some questions and concerns about technical ability. Reaching out to Audi of America did me no good as they just gave me the run around as well. My most recent 2 visits were on the guidance of AOA to have my concerns addressed just to be told by Audi of Richmond we do not have time to see what my engine noise is, yet they had time to do an oil change and multi-point inspection. I visited the dealership again this past week on the instruction of AOA to be met by a service consultant and the shop foreman who tried to hand me a quote of what it would cost me to find out what the issue is with my vehicle that they have not been able to address in around a 3 year span that they were trying to pass as a normal sound. I am not sure exactly if the Service Center is equipped with staff who are not fully able to technically be addressing certain issues, gross negligence, or deceitful to the point of being held to any accountability. The level of service or lack there of even includes dash cam footage of employees making sure to not slow down on their exit road that has speed bumps on it while test driving my vehicle to a valet driver cruising around in my vehicle getting into an accident damaging my hood and windshield that Audi of Richmond actually had to replace while my vehicle was there for a check engine light and performance issues. I will mention they did show some accountability at least on getting that damage repaired. If anyone has had similar issues please reach out to me. We love our per-owned A-8 and had a great experience when we bought it. But I will never go back there for service. It has never been a pleasant experience but today was the end. I had a mysterious light appear on the dash (a small wrench). Owners manual noted it as a problem for Diesel engines; mine is gas. Called Audi of Richmond Service. I was told I should bring it in immediately but "It might be several days before we can look at it"!!! And no loaner car! SEVERAL DAYS! I then found "The Shop" on Midlothian Pike, called them and they said I could "Drop by" and they'd look at it". I did and in 10. minute (and no charge), they explained that after the last oil change, something had not been reset do they did it. Goodbye Audi of Richmond; hello The Shop! read more

I first reached out to Audi Richmond in February when I was preparing to move from Kansas City to Richmond. My wife and I were going to be driving her SQ5 and shipping my RS3. The problem being, we didn't know anyone in Richmond that we could ship the RS3 to if it beat us to Richmond. The GM at Audi Richmond saved the day, and had absolutely no issue with having his team receive the car, inspect it for damage from shipping, and holding it until we arrived. I hadn't given them a penny! I had hoped to give them more sales/service business as a token of appreciation, but COVID really dropped our reliance on the cars during our short time in Richmond. I did have Audi Richmond complete the standard 10k service done on the SQ5 and a significant service at 15k on my RS3. Their advisors and techs did a fantastic job. Quick and professional. Overall, I would not hesitate to send a friend or family member here for a sale or service. read more

Megan Payne is probably the worst service provider I've ever worked with. I came in, she just looked right at me and then continued to scroll on her phone instead of asking how she could help me. It wasn't until someone else asked that she finally decided to chime in, when she was the one in charge of my vehicle the whole time. Then the total she gave me was different from the estimate they gave me and prior to me picking up the vehicle when I complained about the price they responded "we could even get away with murder". Then to make it even worse it took a good 30 minutes before they were able to located the vehicle and park it in the customer parking lot. If I'm going to be paying $2000 + you'd expect the vehicle to be up front and ready to be driven away. But nope all she said was yeah it's in the lot over there and expect me to walk around the lot trying to find my car in a sea of Audi's . Worst customer service you could get. read more

SCAM alert! I made arrangements to take my Audi in for service. When I called to make the appointment I was clear about what I wanted done: oil change and brake fluid change. I was given a price estimate for this work over the phone. All good so far. When I arrived for the appointment, my service consultant went over the planned work. The total price was much higher than what had been quoted over the phone. When we went through the details of what was planned, there was a 'Complete Fuel Service' included with a cost of over $200. I asked what that was and the service consultant told me it was an Audi-recommended cleaning of the carbon build-up in the engine through the fuel system. I was skeptical, but he told me Audi recommended this and I could find it on the Audi website. I reluctantly said Ok and signed the form for them to complete the service, with a total bill that was about twice what I had planned to spend. While I was waiting for my car to be serviced I researched this recommended fuel service and found that it was a totally bogus claim. Audi does NOT recommend this service! I asked the service consultant to NOT do this service. He said it was too late as the service tech had already started it. He took me down to see it being performed. The service tech was spraying a can of solvent into the intake and that was it. After paying the bill and leaving the dealership, I asked the svc consultant to send me the link on Audi website that referenced this service. Had the 20,000 maintenance of our 2022 A3 and a few other issues fixed. The driver side temperature control stopped working and the auto on/off as well. They said it is the same part so ordered it and only had to wait 3 business days. We got a nice A3 as a loaner during that time. NOTE: they now charge for any tolls incurred while driving the loaner which wasn't the case earlier in the year. Our service manager, JR was very nice and commuicated well. The service was done to our satisfaction and we will recommend and return there when needed. read more

So far, I'm with Noelia. Disappointing, to say the least! I'm having a difficult time getting this service department to confirm what ran up under my Audi's carriage knocked out the EPB switch on the alternator causing electrical issues. On July 3rd, there was a big piece of cement on I-295 south bound. A few cars got flat tires. Unfortunately, it ran up under my car and immediately caused an electrical outage. I was able to drive to the Audi dealership with the vehicle conking out in the parking lot. I made a claim with Geico, but the dealership continues to tell Geico the vehicle only incurred abrasion to the under carriage and oh, BTW, the vehicle needs a new alternator. Since then, I have been the "go between" for the Audi dealership and Geico trying to prove the vehicle had NO electrical issues prior, the error codes were from debris hitting the EPB switch. Instead of them sending the error codes to me, I had to ask the dealership to them so "I" could do the research. I am now doing the dealership's work. When I called Brad Reichwein, the service manager, to tell him of my findings and that Geico would pay the claim if they can prove the problem, he responded that the dealership would not make a fraudulent claim. I again told him about my findings and no prior electrical issues, but he did not listen. Basically, he is calling me a liar saying the incident didn't cause the problem. At this point, I want to have my vehicle towed elsewhere since they don't believe me and don't want my business. Not sure if emailing or calling the GM will do any good. You'll notice all the good reviews are for Audi sales. That's because Audi doesn't stand behind their parts and service. I had a spark plug break and ruin the engine of my Audi Q5 even though I had just changed them 17,000 miles earlier. Unfortunately, Audi's warranty only covers its spark plugs for 12,000 miles (yet recommends that they only be changed every 30,000 miles?!?) so the cost of replacing the engine was my responsibility. Let my pain be your free lesson. Take your Audi to any local Euro car shop that uses Bosch parts since those are covered under a lifetime warranty. Avoid Audi service at all costs. read more

Brad in the service department, greets me by name every time I arrive. I'm in and out the door within minutes and presented with a comparable loaner vehicle. My lease is up on my A6 in a few months and I wanted to buy a cheaper used car, but one of the major hesitations I'm having is that I enjoy the service so much here, I really don't want to give up my Audi now. I ended up using the Fredericksburg location to buy my car because this location didn't want to reduce their price, although they had the "sales manager" call me wanting to know what they had to do to earn my business. Match the price I wanted that Fredericksburg was willing to do. They said they would lose money. Ok, your loss and I drove to Fredericksburg and got the deal. More recently, I tried to use their web-site to make a service appointment. Keeps giving me an error message that is on their end. Email their company to advise. No response. They have their staff email addresses on their web-site. I email the Service Manager and note it can be tough for me to call during the day, had a question, etc. No response. Decided to email the General Manager. I see where the tone is set for customer service. No response here as well. You can see why I chose to buy from Fredericksburg. I was hoping the Service experience would at least be better. It is a clean location with some attractive eye-candy staff, so there is that. read more

My father and I are really into sports cars and luxury vehicles. So with that said, we've been to many dealerships over the years. Porsche and Maserati being at the top. However, when you have a completely new dealership built from the ground up, that puts you in a position to provide customers with a state of the art building. And Audi really maximized on that. I don't know who the architect is, but I'd really like to give him a high five, a pat on the back, a firm handshake, and maybe even a hug. This building has absolutely everything you can ask for... And more! It's very large. There's two floors, so privacy to work out that vehicle purchase is not a problem. To add to that, there are many amenities such as free drinks. Not just coffee and water. Good stuff like Naked brand smoothies, Tropicana juices, etc. The service waiting area is super nice and also very comfortable, but if you need a quiet private room so you can do a video conference or setup a mobile workstation, that's also available. Another cool thing is that they have two display box rooms for vehicle purchases. This is an all glass room that your newly purchased vehicle gets placed in, with a bow on top! Lastly, there's an Audi shop that offers many things such as tumblers, shirts, backpacks, and a lot more. This dealership is very upscale and they go above and beyond when it comes to providing red carpet treatment. Of the many dealerships that I've been to, this is by far one of the best. As for our salesman, Terrell Jenkins was a pleasure to work with. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and not too pushy. The test drive that he took my gf and I on was the best test drive that I ever had in my life! The location of this dealership is also one of it's main benefits. As Mr. Jenkins said "this is the closest you will get to driving through German countryside"... I thought that was an odd statement because we were in Short Pump. But low and behold, two minutes away from the dealership we were instantly experiencing the all wheel drive magical traction of Audis' famous Quattro system. Mr. Jenkins started off driving to show us the vehicles handling and on board features. Shortly after, he pulled over and let us drive. He encouraged us to push it at times, which was great and comforting. I never knew that type of countryside existed so close to Short Pump and we were completely blown away by the test drive alone. Unfortunately, we decided to go with another luxury brand other than Audi. However, Mr. Jenkins did a great job at everything, even the price. But at the end of the day, the other brand was able to give us a little more for our money. This was truly a one of a kind experience and when it comes time to make another vehicle purchase, Audi will always be a top contender. Our interaction with Audi of Richmond was disappointing to say the least. If I could give no stars I would. I've never seen a more unprofessional service manager in my life. Brad Reichwein has no customer service whatsoever, he's rude, disrespectful to clients, and by far just a simple asshole who didn't try to help us at all. He told my husband to "kick rocks" and wouldn't really give us an option with our Audi being in for service. He has no empathetic bone in his body and that show with his service advisors. The service advisor we got was Meagan Payne and she was not communicating well with us or the insurance. She didn't tell us this needs to be done before we can release your car for pick up, so they made an excuse of it not being ready Thursday. Meagan had in under the impression that once the car was ready we could pick it up and obviously that wasn't the case here. When we called Friday that's when she told us this needs to be done before we can release your car to you. That's when we asked for a manager to see what else we could do to pick up our car that was ready. Brad said "pay for it yourself or bring the insurance check. If not we won't release the car." I'm not sure at what point he got upset enough to tell my husband to "kick rocks then" because all we were asking for was options on what to do to pick up the car. He didn't even apologize for any miscommunication that may have happened between us and the service advisor not informing us about what they needed to release our car. When we asked if a loaner was an option while we found a way to resolve this issue he completely shut us down and said "No our loans are for cars in service and not for cars waiting on insurance payment." Had we known ahead of time that a full payment needed to be made in order to release the car we would have talked to our advisor and made sure it was there when the car was ready. I came in looking for my dream car. Unfortunately it was not in the manual transmission I was looking for. The sales rep and finance manager treated me with respect and allowed me to drive the same model, in a different color that I expressed I was not interested in. After a 20 minute test drive I was sold that this car was all I hoped it to be. Now it's just a search for the right color combination. I have been not taken seriously at dealerships in the past and it's a huge turn off to be pre judged. When someone trusts your intent on driving a 70k used car, that speaks volumes to me. I'm leaving this review after poor experience with the sales department in my previous review. Now it was time for the 5000 mile service on my Audi S6 and I brought it to West Broad Audi. Excellent experience top to bottom. From the professionalism to making you feel like a valued customer. Loaner Audi was also very nice. They saw an issue with my Audi I had not noticed in that a pot hole had bent my rim. Worked with my rim insurance company to take care of me. Thank you west broad Audi for such good service. I'm only giving 4 stars to the dealership because of the sales experience at the dealership. But service aspect definitely a full 5 star. The Service has definitely improved my rating of the dealership if you look back to my previous review. read more
