This Explorer, my family's primary car, spent weeks at a competing Ford dealership in Prince George, without any real work being completed... Seriously almost 7-weeks... Moved the vehicle to Richmond Ford (via the body shop) and Jeff had it out the door in less than 2-weeks (waiting on parts included), and it was fully functional. Jeff from service was very communicative with the body shop (a breath of fresh air) and ensured the insurance company had the information they needed to approve the repairs. I highly recommend this service department based on this experience. I generally handle my own preventative maintenance, but I will not hesitate to return here when I need a proper diagnosis and/or repair completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Richmond Ford Lincoln is one of the worst Ford dealerships I have ever dealt with…read more I recently brought my vehicle in for what turned out to be warranty-related repairs. After diagnosing the issue, the dealership completed the work and informed me that the failure was likely caused by an outside incident. I knew that was not the case, but I paid for the repairs as instructed. Later, it was determined that the work should have been covered under warranty. More than 70 days later, I am still waiting to be reimbursed for charges that I should never have paid in the first place. To make matters worse, during that same period, my vehicle experienced another issue and the wrench light illuminated again. When the vehicle was inspected, it was discovered that the dealership had failed to properly tighten a hose connection during the original repair. That oversight was the cause of the warning light. They also neglected to reset my oil service reminder before returning the vehicle. Thank God I brought it to another dealership for service. Between the lengthy delay in resolving the warranty reimbursement, the careless workmanship, and the lack of attention to detail, I have completely lost confidence in this dealership. I even reached out directly to General Manager Mike Serpico in an effort to resolve my concerns, but the response I received was far from satisfactory. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience marked by poor communication, substandard service, and a lack of accountability. I will not be returning to Richmond Ford Lincoln for future service or vehicle purchases.

When I questioned this, he got irritated and rudely told me I didn't have to get the work done there.Since my car was already there, I authorized the repair but explicitly asked him to leave the old parts in the vehicle so I could process a warranty exchange. He agreed. He assured me the car would be ready the next day and promised to call me with updates. I called the shop several times the next day and left two messages, but he never returned my calls. Instead, he called my wife, and I later found out he didn't leave the old parts in the vehicle as promised. Terrible customer service at its finest.

I consistently have to add oil to my car like every two weeks and there's no leak according to the dealership. I took my car back to the dealership a few days ago for an oil change, a state inspection, and one of my tires what almost flat. Had to leave overnight and the lady at the desk very rudely told me to fill out the drop box paper. I asked where the drop box was and she simply gestured and said "that way" with no clear instruction. I repeated "where?" And again just "that way". Okay so now I drive around the building and fill out the little form explaining what I need done the next day and drop it off. The next day comes and the guy, Chad, doesn't even act like he read the sheet. He was like "I didn't see anything about tires" and I had written out what was going on. I even wondered if they were mixing up my car with someone else's. I went in when it was done and the lady at the cash register was really rude and acted like she hated her job. On top of that they tried to sell me work that I had just gotten done so it was obvious they hadn't even checked those things and we're just trying to get over $400 out of me on a $23 part that I had just gotten replaced. I don't know what's going on in this place, but I wouldn't recommend going here or getting any kind of service done.

My 20 year old did preliminary research and knew the car he wanted to see about. From the moment we arrived, I watched Asker treat my boy with professional courtesy, confirming this was a manual transmission (my son replied that actually is a major selling point, and I got to be proud for teaching my son stick shift), a little friendly conversation, and then time for his test drive. When we returned from the drive, my son had a question about the engine and Asker immediately brought the dealership mechanic to respond with expertise. The interactions remained very easygoing (i.e. no pressure or gimmicks) with the exchange of detail towards a purchase. Asker gave my son a fair trade-in for his previous car currently stashed at a garage, and did all the paperwork right there in house: registration, taxes, temporary tags, the works! I was so impressed with the ease of the car buying process . It's nice to do business with someone who is genuinely interested in listening to the customer, and I'm pleased my son had that good fortune today.
