I conveniently made my appointment online and there were several availabilities for same-day (also unheard of around here). In the past, I've suffered pretty bad from allergies but this season has been the worst! It is almost impossible to get an immediate appointment at Elgin AFB, so this place was a lifesaver. Aliason Heather Overton listened to me, took my past experiences with allergies into consideration and came up with a great solution for my problems. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and felt heard. This facility is clean, well-kept, woman owned and operated, annnnnd they also take Tri-Care! I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I asked a couple of serious questions and she dodged them, mentioned c sections about 5 times ( this is my first baby ) obviously it's more convenient for her to schedule them than to let a women labor naturally. The nurse just called to defend themselves and there's nothing to defend, what she just told me was NOT what was conveyed to me. In fact the opposite. They also brought up the fact that I'm " not far along " as being a reason why I'm not getting care or answers ? As if they are expecting me to loose my baby or something? I don't get it, just So uncomfortable ~

But I assure you, 5 stars is for a clinical visit, because I arrived extra early and they saw me anyhow, and were very professional. He actually sat down and introduced himself and reviewed the problem with me before leaving to let me undress! (I never understand that part - he's about to get up close and personal doing a breast exam and look at my lady parts - why bother leaving just so I can toss that dumb paper sheet over my lap?) No one I know enjoys the prospect of a cold steel speculum wrenching open her most precious parts while a stranger peers in and scrapes cells with what feel like a pitchfork from the cervix. But I was having some weird, sudden and unexplainable pain, so I cowgirl'd up and put my feet in the stirrups and crossed my eyes in pain while the Dr. cranked open the speculum til he could see straight to China. He very kindly withdrew the instrument in under a minute - no dilly-dallying here. Of course the manual exam is unpleasant - you never get used to someone you've met five minutes ago reaching inside with one hand and the other hand on your belly. Well, I guess there are some women who are used to 5 minute encounters, but I'm not one of them. Anyhow, the purpose of this is to feel for abnormalities - at least that's what I tell myself. Again, Dr. B very professional and quick. He gave me a preliminary diagnosis with a follow up for ultrasound. Overall he seemed very competent and concerned about comfort. First impression I would recommend.
