I was told by the office manager that I was not the first person that this has happened to, never being seen by this physician, yet billed for the service. After the first of the year, the physician is no longer practicing at this location. I would appreciate a promt resolution of this matter.

They catered to our sick kiddo in such a kind and gentle way. This was the first visit he's ever been to that he didn't cry! He actually enjoyed being there! We were there for a while because we didn't register ahead of time, but it was perfectly fine given the relaxed and clean environment. They were able to provide a diagnosis and treatment in-house due to the availability of X-ray and medications at this facility which was such a game changer with a toddler. The provider, nursing staff, receptionists and X-ray tech all modeled care and concern for our whole family. This place is really the example all other facilities should follow!! I was very impressed with how efficient and professional this facility and their staff are. We arrived right when they opened and the front desk person was cheerful and greeted us in a friendly manner. We were able to sign in at the kiosks quickly and we waited a short time to be seen. Angela quickly escorted me back to a room where she assessed my vitals and my health concerns. She was very kind and patient and explained things in a very friendly and personable manner. Next the Nurse Practitioner, Rachel came in and she was so helpful and kind and personable. She listened to what my symptoms were and was able to diagnose my condition. I so appreciated her hearing my heart with current and past situations with my health you could tell she definitely has a very caring spirit. I have to say I haven't been to an urgent care like this where people were overly concerned and caring with your situation. You didn't feel rushed and they made you feel like you & your health matters. I was so impressed by that. I went in knowing that I had a sinus infection based on my symptoms and due to the fact I get them about 4 times a year. After waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes I was told I just had a viral infection and to get some Flonase HA. The next day I went to a different urgent care and turns out I was right and had a sinus infection with mild case of bronchitis. Rachel misdiagnosed me really bad and was one of the rudest people I've ever met, very snobby. She couldn't even come back to the room and talk to me about my illness she just had a nurse bring me a piece paper telling me to get Flonase and stay hydrated, unreal. Thank god I got another opinion bc you don't mess around with bronchitis. I hope the owner of this urgent care sees the ongoing problem with Rachel.

This visit was when we found out they no longer take my hmo insurance through Florida blue. Great. $150, but it's an emergency so I obliged. Very aggravating though :) We see the doctor, she's great. I say it's impetigo. She agrees, but didn't do any more thorough inspections of her own, so I assume that's definitely what he has. She prescribed him a topical ointment. We have been applying as needed every single day since, and it hasn't gotten better. It's not horribly worse, but not better. I call back August 7 (today) asking if there's any way we could be prescribed antibiotics because HE STARTS SCHOOL IN 4 DAYS. the nurse says "if you hold I will speak with a doctor and see what he says." *5 seconds later* "sorry ma'am you're going to have to come in for another check up" ma'am, it's only been 5 seconds, there's no way you talked to a doctor... she gets defensive saying she doesn't know where this conversation is going and that she doesn't have the energy to argue. I hang up. No resolution. Only money to be spent. Idk. Maybe this is just the American health system, and they don't do pro-bono or help those who really can't afford healthcare without insurance. I'm a single mother on one income and have spent $450 in the last week, including this last visit, on top of school supplies and clothes shopping for my son. Didn't think asking for an oral antibiotic required another $150 appointment just to be like "yes you're right, here's a prescription for amoxicillin" please do better. Not everyone can pull money out of their ass, especially when you stop taking their insurance a day before they show up for a walk in appointment.

Mind you it's hard to diagnose something if you don't actually examine it. A procedure, antibiotic shot and other meds prescribed by a different competent urgent care was what was needed. Drive a few more minutes. It may save you!!! I will never recommend this place or go here again.

The issue I have is that they refuse to authorize my pharmacy to a refill of a prescription for a low dose statin that their Dr. prescribed (for a one year term refilled every 90 days) without seeing me and getting new labs - In other words, they want me to pay for an appointment and new labs that my insurance will only cover once per year....because their employee left. But they have the labs, which is what providers use to determine whether the prescription is warranted. Statins are literally the most prescribed medication in the US and they have all the evidence to validate a simple refill but are trying to force me to pay a significant out of pocket expense to get it.

He refused to prescribe my anti-depressants that I proved a history of taking for over 20 years (the same dose over 10 years) and wants me to take 225mg, instead of 300mg, my normal dose. A 75 mg decrease in anti-depressants can cause major symptoms including brain zaps. I am completely disgusted that my health is being risked for unknown reasons. Effexor is a non- controlled substance and with proven history decreasing my dose so abruptly will be determental. I do not recommend their care to anyone.
