He explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions. I was introduced to some new optical equipment that I've never seen before. I was not happy with their customer service. After my glasses were done, I found that the lenses were of poor quality, but my vision was grainy and out of focus. I returned to them with the complaint, and they told me to wash my glasses with soap. I did, but the glasses remained the same. After other complaints that were not addressed, I gave up and have been unable to see well. Finally, I had to go to Walmart in Niceville to get myself another pair of glasses. New to area first time visit with Okaloosa Eye Care. Dr. C. Evan's was wonderful and did a superb job with my eye examination. A solid 5 Star experience! Thank you! After the Dr. visit, I went to order glasses in the Optical store and (Haley) worked with my wife and I finding the right frames, lenses etc. and another great experience. Glasses ordered paid in full. Approximately a week or so from order, I called to get a status and no answer so left a message. Within the next 7 days I called 4 more times to that dept, no answer so continued to leave messages again and again, and never got called backed. Now 2 weeks later I had no idea what was going on and had paid nearly $480.00 and could not get any communications returned. A final try to the appointment desk (single call trying to get anyone) and no answer there as well. Unfortunately I work M-F out of town and had to take off 'unpaid' lost wages to go in-person today to only find out glasses were not ordered after 2 weeks plus, and the many attempts to try and contact the Optical area to check the status was clearly not listened too. I had enough at that point and wasn't going to go through that process again with them so I canceled the (what I thought) order. Now I have to start the finding frames, lenses, process all over again somewhere else. This was my experience. Great Dr's. and Staff, but "not good" after that. read more

They take my kids insurance and they are now 13 & 12 years old. We've been coming here for years and I've always had a positive experience with these doctors. Just make sure to call in advance to have them find a time that fits to your schedule. Basic optometry office here in Crestview FL that's served the community for some time. read more

Beautiful office in the heart of downtown Crestview. Friendly and professional staff. I was seen within a few minutes of my appointment time, which is always refreshing. It was a very comprehensive exam, and Dr. Riggs was professional and knowledgeable. When I went back the next day to buy glasses, I found a nice selection of frames and had no trouble locating one priced within my insurance frame allowance. I didn't feel they were just trying to sell me something. I browsed undisturbed, and didn't have to wait long once I indicated I was ready. read more

The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and the level of service is phenomenal, it's why I drive over an hour for my exams. I just feel like they care about their patients. The office is always so clean and beautiful. They have a fantastic variety of frames and spent the time with me to make sure I found the right ones. My glasses came in quickly too!
