The tech did most of the tests with me and then at one point she brought me out to the hallway and put my up to a machine. I had never seen that before and wasn't sure what it was. But didn't think to much about it. The Doctor came in and stated everything looked good same as last year. A few little floaters and the beginning of cataracts, said the same thing last year, gave me a script for glasses, same as last year. Went out to pay my copay. The lady at the desk said they weren't sure what the bill was due to they had to process it through my insurance. My eyes were dilated so again just went on my merry way. 3 weeks later I get a bill for $165.00. I was very confused. Called them. The first lady stated that it looked like they put it through the wrong insurance as she can see the one from last year. Then I got a call from another lady that stated yes, it was the way it was coded and that to put it through the other insurance would be a difficult, but she will pass it along to someone for further explanation. Then I get a woman called Mona, she stated that the Doctor determined it was medical (even though he saw me for about 5 minutes). I said just to put it through my other insurance. She said that's insurance fraud. So I said well, I'm not paying it, have the tech pay for it. She said no, we can't due that and hung up on me. Then I get a text from a collection company, I saw the Doctor on 6/22/2026. After calling both insurance places. I'm stuck with the bill. They never communicated to me that I would have a bill and that my eye appointment was a medical issue. The refraction test is extra that was not communicated as well nor did I get the results from it. They did say that they will take $29.00 off for the refraction. Make sure you ask questions and don't assume. Needless to say I will not be back , its a shame due to that I really liked the Doctor.

Upon entering the facility, we found a relaxing environment with only a few other people waiting. There were plenty of staff on hand who were friendly and helpful. After filling out the required paperwork, we were taken right in. Doctor Line and a Physician assistant were in within 5 minutes. Dr. Line was friendly and upbeat. He suggested a cortisone shot, but we told him that my dad was also being treated for cancer and would need approval from his cancer Dr. What Dr. Line did next, I've never seen before. He asked who my dad's cancer Dr. was, he then texted her and got approval on the spot to administer the cortisone. Truly above and beyond! Thank you to the whole team. I had an appointment with Dr. Rick Seabolt and his nurse, Jamie (front desk told me that was her name) for hip stiffness. The front desk ladies were very nice when I checked in for my appointment. When Jamie came and got me to take me back she immediately said we'll take x-rays of my hips, and I was confused as to why we would jump to x-rays when I hadn't talked to her or the clinician as to why I was there. She said that was how they normally did things, and I continued asking questions because I was simply confused at what the cost would be and why x-rays were indicated. She was off-put by my questions, said I could talk to the doctor first, and put me in an exam room and left the door open. She walks off to a desk nearby next to a 2nd woman and proceeds to mock me in a cruel tone with rude gestures by saying "I refuse to take x-rays without speaking to the doctor first". I was so shocked in seeing them continue to talk horribly about me, they then both turn to look at me, see that I just saw that whole interaction, and the 2nd woman approaches immediately justifying why they do x-rays first. I said ok I was just confused and concerned with what the extra cost would be for them, and this woman became increasingly more rude and aggressive in how she was talking to me and started to talk over me (sadly, I did not get her name to mention in this review). At the end of the conversation I said ok I'll take the x-rays now before seeing the doctor, feeling completely blindsided by this horrible interaction, then Jamie came back into the room to take my history. I was so incredibly dumbfounded that this just happened and I told her I do not appreciate the aggressiveness and rudeness that just occurred. She brushed it off and left me to wait for the doctor. Dr. Seabolt was very nice and we had a brief conversation why I was there and what value x-rays would do for my visit. I mentioned to him I was confused about taking x-rays first, but did not tell him the rude interaction that just occurred. Scheduled my annual free eye exam (covered by my insurance). Told before exam I needed to have a…read more"refraction test" ($89 extra) and a "OCT Nerve" test ($110 extra) and a "EB Sight Sync" test ($49 extra). Was told that $68 of these tests would not be covered by my insurance. After my exam I was told that I still owe $149 out-of-pocket. Also, I was prescribed new lenses for $695. For the prior two years my insurance covered my lenses but now their new lab supposedly does not take my insurance. Was never told this prior to my exam knowing what insurance I have. Got a better quality lens for $168 out-of-pocket at Walmart Vision Center. My appointment was at 1:30. Actually saw the doctor at 2:45, and then spent another hour discussing and arguing about the charges and insurance coverage. This was a terrible experience and I will not be going back there again. Make sure you discuss all costs and have your insurance evaluated before going there! I think they push unnecessary charges also.

A&M gear is common here since this is smack dab in the middle of Aggie land so I'll sometimes grab an Aggie piece of clothing or artifact for my Houston friends who are A&M alumni. An observation of mine is how clean and organized this Costco is. Not to mention the customer service is one of the better ones as it's mainly college students and Aggie graduates who are employed here. And it's not packed to the gills with people so I can shop with space and peace. Although that's probably due to coming here on late afternoon weekdays. In comparison to the ones in Houston, this one is run much better with more civilized patrons. Way to go College Station Costco!
