Great selection of frames. A little pricy. The doctor and staff were great with my daughter. Definitely recommend.

They explained things in a way she could understand and made her feel like it was sort of a game they were playing. It was nice to see that they cared how she felt instead of "do this, do that". My daughter is a rambler. She talks about anything and everything, and the staff listened to her and would converse back with her about whatever random thing she was saying. That made her happy and more comfortable, which in turn made the appointment go along smoothly! The staff explained everything to me, (in ways that someone who didn't work in that field for a living would understand). When Dr. Dobson finished the exam, she let my daughter help her put some of the equipment away (and I'm sure this equipment isn't cheap), but Dr. Dobson entertained her and was happy to do so. She too entertained my daughter's rambling, lol! I found the service to be excellent. My daughter is excited to go back next week to pick up her glasses! I would recommend The Eye Care Center to everyone I know. We will definitely be going back.

Was told that $68 of these tests would not be covered by my insurance. After my exam I was told that I still owe $149 out-of-pocket. Also, I was prescribed new lenses for $695. For the prior two years my insurance covered my lenses but now their new lab supposedly does not take my insurance. Was never told this prior to my exam knowing what insurance I have. Got a better quality lens for $168 out-of-pocket at Walmart Vision Center. My appointment was at 1:30. Actually saw the doctor at 2:45, and then spent another hour discussing and arguing about the charges and insurance coverage. This was a terrible experience and I will not be going back there again. Make sure you discuss all costs and have your insurance evaluated before going there! I think they push unnecessary charges also.

Each staff member was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Young was kind and professional. My surgery was two days ago -- easy and painless, and less than two hours from walking in to walking out. The result was immediate. I was almost blind in my left eye, and now it has 20/20 vision both near and far. The whole experience was incredible! Thank you!

I declined the script as the doctor said there was only a 5% change in vision and my current glasses are working well and when I declined a script at past ophthalmologist's office there was no refraction charge and yet this office still insists the charge is valid. If valid then why doesn't insurance ever pay? If it were medically necessary then I would think insurance would have to pay. And why don't optometrists charge for such? And why not give the choice to the patient up front if they want refraction or not? If it were just the doctors and nurses/assistants I would give them a 5 star rating but because of the billing practice I want to give it a 2 or 3 star rating but will relent and give overall as 4 stars.

First up was Rebecca who went over the available surgical procedure options and its varying cost. Not once did I feel like a sales pitch was being thrown at me, instead I felt like a very knowledgeable friend was guiding me every step of the way, reassuring that any option that I choose will be a great medical choice, and will be done with the greatest of care, and skill by Dr. Anderson. After Rebecca had completed my initial eye scans, she then transferred me over to Kayla C. Kayla C. was an absolute gem as well. Kayla performed more eye scans, and was equally as thorough and professional as Rebecca. I liked how Kayla maintained the same positive and relaxing energy without compromising professionalism that Rebecca had, even without knowing what type interaction Rebecca and I had. That's when you know it's sincere. Finally, it was the big moment to sit with the surgeon; Dr. Anderson. Dr. Anderson greeted me with a smile and a warm introduction of himself and his assistant Allison. Dr. Anderson performed a few more eye exams, and explained to me the surgery and what to expect. Dr. Anderson also shared with another serious eye condition that he discovered that I had no idea that I had. Oh yeah, I almost forgotten. Prior to meeting with Dr. Anderson there's an 10 minute video that I watched of Dr. Anderson explaining the entire process on what to expect on the day of surgery, and the surgery itself. That was very reassuring. Lastly, I met the surgery coordinator and her name was Diana. Diana too was just as kind, professional and thorough as Rebecca, Kayla, and Dr. Anderson. She explained every detail. All in all this facility runs like an top luxury watch with impeccable precision. My only regret is that I am unable to give an 10 star rating.
