Audio ace sucks do not buy any equipment from them. Their manufacture and brand is faulty. Do not shop with them. You won't have it over a year. I had to bring my car up here twice for a faulty amp they do not honor anything. I do not recommend this business to anyone please if you want audio installation, go somewhere else. Trust me you'll be more than happy with any other services besides them.

    Ace's final work product

Fumbled on the 1-yard line Audio Ace installed a stereo and a rear cam in my old truck. The over all experience was very good until post inspection. First the good: Great facility, clean, organized, and very professional staff. The Install took two hours, they bid it at three hours, I paid for three hours. the owner Jon Hart was one of the installers because they were having staffing issues on this day. They would have gotten 5 stars but for me noticing a mass of wiring hanging below rear bumper. The rear camera wiring had excess lengths of wire, so it appeared the installer wadded up the various wires slapped 2 zip ties on the bunch and called it done. There were 2 grommets on the factory wiring that were pulled loose from their holes resulting in my tail light wiring hanging loose As well. I had to crawl under the truck and tidy up their work and in 10 minutes was able to tuck the wiring up and out of the way, thus the second pic. Too bad they couldn't be bothered to give me a couple extra minutes to do this right, especially since I paid them for the extra hour.

This looks like high end stuff with big time upgrades. How about just a replacement for a stock deck with a (still has a tape player)?

If they dont have what you are looking for, you can buy your own and have them install it for you. I would suggest first telling them what you are looking for and if they dont have it they can point you in the right direction.

I bought what I thought was everything I needed beforehand and asked them to install it which they did. I picked up my ride the next day and everything sounded great for a few weeks until my car started acting up. I had to have it towed to a local repair shop where I was informed the next day that my starter AND battery were shot. 1400$ for the starter and 850$ for the battery plus labor. Come to find out the car audio shop who installed my sound system did it wrong and almost completely fried the computer in my BMW. Turns out all it needed was one part I wasn't aware I needed which was a capacitor which they sell but didn't inform me that I needed it and went ahead and installed the sound system anyway completely draining and destroying my starter and battery. A 50$ part would've saved me 3000$ so no I do not recommend this place because of what they knowingly did to my prize possession I had just purchased. The quality of service was just terrible. Not to mention they kept blowing up my phone while they were open wondering when I was coming to pick up my ride so they could close early. Thankyou. Gee.

The attention to detail is what I appreciated the most. The install really looks stock, with no exposed wires or parts. They even build a rack for the new amp and placed that behind the seat where it can not be seen. My system is not a "high end" system at all, but to me it sounds great. If you are looking for an upgrade to your car's audio, JML will take care of you. Josh IMO is a very genuine person, and will tell you straight. I have seen him at car shows around town, and he always remembers my name, and is easy to talk to.

We had our Tesla Model S for about a year, and while the sound was good, it certainly wasn't great…read more During our first consultation with Josh, he showed us around his shop - an extremely clean shop with several state-of-the-art tools - and recommended an environmental package. With this, they basically fill the empty space in the doors with a proprietary material that deadens sound and acts as an insulator for the speakers. The effect of this is difficult to describe, but imagine wearing a cheap pair of earbuds. The sound is typically tinny and lacks any fullness. Now imagine pushing those earbuds into your ears so they are fully insulated by your inner ear and a seal is created. Without the sound leaking outside of the ear, the music becomes much richer, the bass comes out; the earbuds begin to sound like a much more expensive pair without buying anything new! This is the same effect the environmental package provides to a car. In addition to making speakers sound their best, having insulation in your doors also helps with road noise on highways and makes the HVAC system work less. This latter point is especially important for electric cars. After the environmental package, we decided to take it one step further and have subwoofers installed. Josh and team put in custom fabrications for the dual 10" subs and amps, hiding them in the well of the trunk. You can't even tell anything was modified until you turn the radio up. The bass is incredible - it's not the overly boomy type that just makes the car shake and draws attention. Rather, JML installs speakers designed for music that deliver a richness and enhance what you listen to rather than dominate it. Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience working with JML - they truly know what they are doing. We researched quite a bit before going to them, and they were the only ones able to work on a Tesla. This shows that they are constantly learning about new technologies and are industry leaders in car enhancements. They are not inexpensive by any means, but in the end, you get what you pay for. Like most of JML's customers, I'm sure we'll be going back to them in the future.

Bad equipment, bad service, nothing he sold me works as he said and he doesn't even seem to know…read morethe technology available. Avoid at all costs. I bought a nice old used car and wanted to upgrade the stereo. I brought it here because he was in my neighborhood. First, and this was early 2025, he didn't know that wireless bluetooth android auto was a possible thing. Then his inventory was primarily older technology that was very overpriced, although I did not know this at the time. Believing Kenwood was a good brand, I agreed to buy a Kenwood stereo and backup camera that he would install. This would run me $800. When I got the car back the steering wheel buttons that controlled the stereo did not work. When I went back to him he said "oh, you didn't say you wanted that. That's extra." How in hell would he think I didn't want that? He charged me another $100. Then I started using the stereo he sold me. It didn't work. if it received a call it got hung up and couldn't do anything else after the call ended unless you turned the car off and on. I brought it back to him several times and he couldn't fix the problem. He called Kenwood - they said he had an older model and it needed an update, that I needed to bring it back which would take a few hours. It didn't fix the problem. Googling the kenwood system he sold me I found that this problem is absolutely epidemic amongst this unit. Something he either didn't know or else he was just trying to get rid of inventory he knew sucked. Then I tried the wired android auto, which isn't easy to do because he put the USB outlet in the glove box (!). It doesn't work either. And yes, my android auto, wired or wireless, works great on every other car. He has sold me a completely useless stereo system, I am out $1000, he refuses to do anything more for it. Do not go to this guy under any circumstances.
