We needed four OLED TVs mounted, and my husband was concerned about waiting to get them up given how thin they are. Shlomi offered to "private escort" our TVs, which included removing all four of them for the cost of what it would have run us for movers' insurance and boxes. He removed them all extremely quickly, drove them to our new house, and installed them on the walls before we even moved in, all for a super fair price. Shlomi is a really nice, chill guy, he's fully insured, and he's an electrician, so he does a lot of other services. We are definitely going to have him do some other things in our home. Highly recommend Shlomi, 10 out of 10.

Project #2: Samsung Frame installation in our kitchen I hired Shlomi with a specific idea for how I wanted the Frame mounted. He listened, was completely willing to do it my way, and then expertly walked me through why a different approach would work better. He wasn't pushy about it; he just knew his stuff, explained it clearly, and let me make the call. I'm glad I went with his recommendation. A few things that stood out (again): - He installed the entire Frame while I was on a work call. When my call ended, he was already finished, the TV was up, and everything was clean. Zero damage, zero mess, zero disruption. - The same patience and lack of ego from the doorbell project carried over. He could have just done it his way from the start, but he respected that I had a plan and earned his way into changing it. - The result looks exactly like the Frame is supposed to look: flush, clean, like art on the wall. He's earned two installs of loyalty from me, and there will be a third, fourth, and fifth.

    VERY Unhappy Customer here. Central Coast AV / Ventura Smart Home installed a $34,000 AV system in…read moremy parents home under my supervision. This includes an over $6,000 Araknis internet system which they insisted upon instead of Google Wifi because they would use it to 'monitor, troubleshoot, and fix issues proactively and remotely'. The system has been really shoddy and super slow for years and we thought it was because of our ISP. We just upgraded to gigabit ethernet, got it working well from the modem, but once we plugged the modem into the expensive Araknis system they recommended, we're still getting speeds of 5mbps and it cuts in and out constantly. I reached out to Chris Wilson, who is an owner and did our original installation, a week ago, and got no response. I called multiple times and only got through once - a guy named Juan, who on Friday promised to set a site visit for Monday. I sent him an email with my information and thanked him. Today, he decided to instead reply and saying the following: "I am sorry to inform you, but it appears that your system is no longer under any warranty.  Additionally we can no longer service your system.  I apologize for the inconvenience." Central Coast AV will convince you you need more than you do, overcharge you, and then ignore you if you ever experience issues or need service. Stay away or they'll take advantage of you too!

Beyond this, i experienced the single worst service ever: take a glance at the chat below. DO NOT work with this ocmpany. this is the third time there has been a last minute cancellation. My name is Joren. 3:23 pm You cancelled appointments Monday, Tuesday and again today. are you there? 3:26 pm I do apologize for the delay of your service Mark. I can see here thate tech informed you that his car is overheating. 3:27 pm as mentioned, this is 3 times. Cars can't break down 3 days in a row. Once is ok. 3 times in 3 days is not acceptable. are you there? All three cancellations occurred at the last minute. It is misaligned with the sound bar. He never checked to ensure things were working. I asked him to wear a mask. He begrudgingly half masked his mask. He took off his mask in my house when I asked him to keep it on. He left the mask on the table. He has completely messed up my wall. I am worried and concerned about possible damage because now he put a hole in my wall and the sound bar and television installation is crooked and if it is moved it will leave holes in my wall. He is the worst ever! There is more from the front, that I took, but I do not want my photo on this site. I never expected such sloppy work!!!!!
