I was recently given the go-ahead by the person in charge (wife) to fully upgrade my living room entertainment. I knew that I wanted to go for a very clean look with a wall-mounted plasma and in-wall/in-ceiling speakers. I also knew that if I attempted to perform said installation myself and screwed it up then my wife would be less than thrilled that I ruined the aesthetic of the living room. Thus I began my search for a custom installer and dealer and I found Audio Insight. I went by their showroom to look at their products and spoke with Michael about what my needs were. We set up an appointment for him to do a walk-thru of my home to get an idea of what he thought I would need as well as to get an accurate appraisal of what time would be required for an install. Michael helped me select components for my surround system and genuinely tried to help save me money in any way he could while still providing me with an impressive surround system. I then communicated back and forth a couple of times with Audio Insight via email to settle on an estimate. Once I was comfortable with everything, I signed the estimate and all my equipment was ordered. Once the equipment had been shipped, a two man crew of installers was sent to my home (at a pre-decided appt. time for the install). I have had people working in my home before, and to be honest, sometimes I haven't always trusted the character of these individuals. Not so with the Audio Insight guys. They showed up well-dressed, they were intelligent and very courteous. I had to work that day, as most people do, and I had such a great first impression that I had no qualms about leaving these gentlemen in my home to work while I was gone thru the day. When I got off work and came back home the guys still had about 3 hours left on the install. They definitely ran a little over the allotted time in the estimate BUT I want you all to know that I still paid what was agreed on in the estimate. I did not owe ANYTHING additional for the extra 30 minutes or hour of install time that was required. The installers completed the work, cleaned up after themselves and fully configured the system for optimum performance before they left. I can't say enough about how great those guys were. Within a few days of all work being completed, Michael got back in touch with me to find out how I liked the system (love is a better word for how I feel about it!) and he told me that he actually wanted to come by the house and see it himself and make sure he was satisfied with how everything looked/sounded before he would allow me to finish paying for the work. This is top notch customer service in my opinion. I have rarely, if ever, had someone stay in so much contact with me and follow up with me like that after work is completed. I am extremely happy with Audio Insight and the work they performed. The whole setup even meets the WAF (Wife Approval Factor)! Of course, it probably helps that all the components are hidden in a rack in a closet, completely out of sight (which, by the way, the installers still set it all up neatly as if it were going to be seen every day). To wrap up, I would recommend Audio Insight to anyone who is looking for quality home theater gear and a quality install. I had been in the market for a new surround sound system and recently visited this audio/ video store on the advice of a friend. When I entered the store one of the salesmen approached me and asked how he could help me. So, I gave it a shot and informed him of what I was looking for AND what I was looking to spend. He took a moment and stated that while his company couldn't offer a solution in my budget he would take the time to go over my needs and give me a recommendation based on what I was looking to spend He happily sat down with me and asked me questions about my room, listening habits and aesthetic needs. After listening for a while he even pulled up some products from another retailer (who shall remain nameless) and went over what he would recommend I purchase. After answering my questions regarding some products that his company didn't even carry, he helped me make some selections. He even pulled up the company web site to see if the products were available and in stock! He couldn't have been more polite or helpful. I have never received this level of service from a place of business that KNEW I wouldn't be making a purchase from them. When I offered to pay him for his time he just said to keep his company in mind in the future. I will NOT forget this company down the road and look forward to the day when I can have a "real" Audio Insight system!! read more

In deciding upon a business, whose employees provide a service by completing work inside my home after I've purchased a product, there a certain fundamentals that I seek. First, I always try to determine the character of the employees, or my ability to trust the employees to complete quality work when I'm not watching. Second, I also try to determine the integrity of the employees, or my belief in the employee's ability to maintain a genuine collaboration with me during the entire process, even when it's not what I want to hear. These determining factors have always proven to be much more important than anything else! You will not find any company with a leadership more devoted to doing these key fundamentals as you will at Audio Insight. Rarely does a consumer feel as though it was their privilege to work with an organization's leadership; however, it was mine! I moved from Long Island NY to Huntsville two years ago thinking any chance of obtaining quality stereo products and service was gone. To my pleasant surprise, I found Audio Insight not only had a broad selection of excellent products, but technical and installation expertise that equalled that of ANY area I had ever lived. (Which includes Chicago,Boston and Dallas) I have purchased a custom high-end system, a separate "house" system with 12 pair of ceiling speakers, a custom surround sound system and many,many accessories.
