Wow, I don't even know where to start with this tint experience. First, I had called Javier over the phone on a Saturday explaining i needed old tint removed from my car and new tint applied. He explained that it would be a 3 hour process and that it would have to be done during the week , Monday-Friday. So i scheduled an appointment for Monday at 1. After calling various places for price quotes i then decided to go to Audio Tint connection due to the cheapest price. Come Monday, I get a call at 12pm saying one of the tinters had a family emergency and had to leave for the day. So Javier asked if I could reschedule, I explained that Monday was my only free day during the week and that if he could not do it that day then I understand and I would just go to another place. So he said okay I'll do it today , so I asked him if he could still get it done in 3 hours and if he could, then that would be fine with me. he said yes so I came. So I dropped off my car at 1pm. I get a call at 5pm saying he could not finish it today and that he had just tinted the front 4 windows, explaining that he did "free work" by taking off the door panels to take off the tint. I replied saying "is that not part of the process?" He replies by saying no I usually charge extra. So he then asks me to leave the car over night and he will have it done by the morning. Are you kidding? He had originally said it would only take 3 hours to begin with and now this had turned into a two day affair. And I needed my car to use. I pick my car up at 5:30 and he right away said he would take off the 40 dollar fee for taking off the back panel for the rear window tint and "take a loss" by bringing my price from 240 all together to 180. Mind you there was another customer in the lobby, so i felt as if this might have caused him to have a sudden change in attitude. He then tries to get me to pay him for the total price, before even completing the back window. I told him it wasn't right to pay for something that hasn't been done yet. So after voicing my frustration to him , I decided to come back two days later to finish the back window. BIG MISTAKE! After completing the job he shows me about 15 scratches on my rear window that were not there before, saying "since the tint is darker and the old film was light, you can see the scratches now, but I didn't do these." the explanation made no sense. It looks as if a razor blade might have been used which is TRAGIC for the back window as the defrosters could get damaged. I have yet to test out my defrosters at this time. At the end he asks me to leave him a good yelp review, but this isn't a good review, it's an HONEST one. At this point I was over it and sucked it up, paid and left. Although he did try making up for his initial mistake by cutting the price down, the damage done to my window that he "supposedly" did not do, makes me an unhappy customer. Please people, do not trust your car to have any work done here. Save your self the stress and head ache and go somewhere that charges a little bit more. I learned my lesson , YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. So unless you want a damaged car returned back to you, I suggest you go somewhere else. read more

Just got my tint done from this place today. I found them here on yelp and after reading such great reviews, I decided to give them a call. Before calling them, I actually called around 6 or so other places and everyone tried to rip me off..maybe bc i'm a girl??? I hate that! So I call Audio Tint Connection and a guy named Javier (owner?) answers all my questions and gave me a very reasonable price. So I made an appt. for the following day at 4:30, even though they close at 5. When I got there, Javier was super nice and did a great job helping me find the perfect shade. I told him I wanted something that wasn't too dark but wasn't too light either. He knew exactly what to do. Javier and team stayed after hours to finish my car, which was extremely nice of them. It took approx 1.5 hrs to finish and OMG, I LOVE it!! Tint comes with lifetime warranty too. Javier and team did such a great job!!!! I highly recommend Audio Tint!!! Javier is genuinely an honest, nice and cool person. He'll go the extra mile for his customers. Check this place out. read more

Took my car in to have a stereo installed i purchased with them. Well the guy was super rude and annoyed that i brought in my own dash install kit. After installation as i was driving away i noticed the ring that goes around the face plate kept falling off i returned and he was annoyed again and said thats how it goes. After i told him it obviously was not how it went he put it on. Went home and noticed after i drove at night my dash lights stopped working. When he opened my dash to pass the mic for wireless mic for buy phone he messed something up and to top it off my battery started to discharge BECAUSE GENIUS DID A BAD GROUND AND CAUSED A SHORT. We purchased a stereo from them which they set up decently, but we found out there was engine noise when we drove it home. They were closed, so I called and requested that they fix the problem first thing in the morning of their next business day. Suddenly they were too busy and said they have to put me off over the holiday weekend. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

i take all my cars here. the tint is done in a professional manner. very fast service with a year warranty. but i have never had to take my cars back because of bad tint. i only go back to take a new car for tint. read more

Upset! Javier told me 129 over the phone and i agreed, I then said i chose him because of his good reviews. He then said $120.00 TOTAL I said perfect. He then calls back to tell my dad our car had tint on the windows when it didnt. He then requested $80.00 more to remove the tint WHAT TINT???? He then said ok $60.00 a total of $ 180.00 what a way to raise his prises. Dont fall for it!!!! I came here to get my a Viper alarm installed on my Prelude. I specifically wanted a nice alarm for my car and Javier helped me choose what my best options would be. I initially made an appointment for a day, but I had to reschedule for another day. Javier said it would be no problem to change the date. I came on my 2nd scheduled date and they installed my alarm in a fairly quick manner. about 2 hours. I leave the building happy with the service and a few miles down the road my trunk light in my dash starts to flicker like something was loose. I called Javier to see if I can comeback and have this fixed. He told me it should only take a few mins, but he could not take me that same day. I was disappointed about this because he gave me a reason that he was busy. I understand that he's busy, but as a first time customer you would think he would prioritize me first especially if it was going to only take "a few mins." He then tells me to comeback later in the week. I tell him that that I live in 25 mins east of there. He said, " that's not too far." I was a little shocked to here that because you never want to offend a customer in anyway. The only reason why I gave this place a chance because of the excellent reviews it got on Yelp. I would get the installation 5 stars and the customer service from Javier 3 stars. I had to go out of way later in the week to comeback for an error on their part. In all fairness, my hood was loose to begin with so, the button they installed kept triggering the trunk light to go on and the hood and trunk light are tied together. The installer (can't recall his name) put the button in an awkward position where the button would hit the hood. The button eventually broke. (Made out of hard plastic). The installer removed the old one and put a brand new button in a different location so, the hood would land flat on the button. Great service with installation. Customer service with Javier I would give 3 stars. As a business, you have to remember that the first impression is everything. Respect and a good attitude. Also remembering a customer's name would be a good gesture. Referring to me as "Guy" is something I did not appreciate. read more

I was referred to this tint specialist by my cousin. When I called to make an appointment I was able to get in within 2 days and was quoted $140 for 7 windows. Upon arrival Javier greeted us and allowed us to select our tint darkness. He did have two different options the basic which was $140 (what u chose) and another high quality tint for only $30 more which would help reduce heat more than the tint I chose. He began my car promptly and when he was moving onto my back window he mentioned a piece of the lower back inside of the window was missing i had no idea. I'm so glad he took the time to tell and show me so I can get it taken care of at my dealership. Anyway, the tint process took about an hour and twenty minutes I would say but there was a waiting area with a tv so we were occupied as we waited. After he was done he explained we should only clean the windows now with a glass cleaner and paper towel. Most people probably wouldn't even care what you do but he did, he obviously wants the quality to last for his customers. You can't roll your windows down for 2 whole day and I have yet to do so. The next time I take my car out for a drive and get to experience the new tint I'll update my review (that's why I put four stars for the time being). But I will say Javier provided excellent customer service and even made a curtesy call to see how the tint is so far. Really thoughtful of him! read more

Had my tint done by Javier a few months back. Had down issues with the tint within a week though. Some bubbles had appeared on the back window so I took it and and they were able to fix with no problem and best of all, no cost. Took about 3 hrs and it was perfect. Will bring my business here again, GREAT customer service. read more

The guys working there were very nice and informative. I haven't had any work done there since I had to wait to talk to someone on the phone about prices but will come back if I need anything related to tint (lifetime warrenty), stereo or alarms. The store is small but has a nice waiting room. Looks clean and professional. read more

I bought a radio from this place and they couldn't even install same day or next day service. Quick to sell a product but HORRIBLE to accommodate installation service. WAY over priced on Radios and Speakers, Best Buy can even beat their prices after looking with them. No Refunds on their products READ the fine print. I was looking for quick installation and RANCHO CAR AUDIO was able to hook it up with installation and same radio $100 Dollars less.
