I came in to audio sport for an estimate on a car stereo for my Honda civic Sean gave me two estimates one for a kenwood and another for a chinese aftermarket radio he guaranteed both. I chose the aftermarket radio he claimed it's a special order and he would call me when it comes in. Sean called me three days later I came in and it was installed. The stereo had no reception Sean claimed it was the area we were in once you drive out of the area you will get better reception this was a lie. I returned the next day he installed and additional antenna glued to the windshield it still didn't get reception. The next day I returned and asked him to install the original stereo and he did I gave him his aftermarket stereo and requested a refund he refused and I told him I will see him in small claims court. read more

Horrible customer service!!! We stopped by to see rims and the workers didn't greet us or even come up to us to see if we had any questions or anything. After that we walked inside and the guy at the front didn't greet us either, even after we greet him with "hey boss how you doing " no answer. We then proceeded to ask a question and which he the answered but looked like he didn't want to make conversation. He then has a back room called the "show room " with a lot of different rims and different things to look at which he then said we weren't allowed. I don't see the point in calling it a "show room " if customers can take a look at the inventory the shop has to offer. My family went to Audiosport for window tinting and sound systems anytime it was needed (1990's) and have referred many family members and friends throughout the decades. Updated the audio system on my 2022 Bayliner Element M17 and the team at Audiosport knocked it out of the park!!!! They added 4- 6.5" Kicker Marine speakers with a 10" Kicker Marine sub and a JBL 5 channel amp with a Rockford Fosgate marine head unit!! Sean was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to what would sound the best. My mom went to this place today, looking to get tires and rims. And got over charged for a really poor job. They broke her sensors and drilled a hole in the rims without consulting with her. When she brought it up, the manager was rude and snobby. He blamed her for the broken sensors and disregarded the problem. Damn damn damn. Just got my car tinted here and should have checked the reviews. SEAN was completely unprofessional. I asked him questions regarding the Snap financing and he told me i could not use that to get tint on my window. 5 minutes later after I've already paid, a lady walks in and says she paid for her tinted windows using snap...He had what seemed like an attitude as if me coming in was a problem. He didn't acknowledge me and wouldn't take his eye of the computer. I paid $345 for my front windows and windshield. My back windows already had tint, i asked what he thought it was, he said it looked like 5%. So i said go 5% on the front too. Once I get the car the tints are 2 different shades. I'm beyond pissed. I have lived In Escondido most of my life and I always drive by this place, every car I've ever had tinted I've done here, same with my Brother. The tint is always precise and clean and never once had an issue. Sean is great and don't let the negative comments fool you, "if you can find it cheaper somewhere else," then go there. Im not one to dog on apprentice installers still learning but, for $625 I could not believe that they allowed my vehicle's new 5 Channel amplifier swap to roll out of the Lot like that! The Owner of the shop personally said "All good to Go thank you!" Then I roll down the street expecting to be jamming out with my new pioneer speaker system and the sound quality was just insanely sad, horrific, and robbed of all bass. I returned, they looked at it, turns out the wiring was completely reversed and they fixed it costing me an extra hour. Its not a huge deal but I would expect Any professional shop owner to at least inspect, Test, and correct any issues on the spot before the vehicle is even allowed to leave the shop. This business is way too quick to take Your Money, way too sly to give you any details on the products they are sell to you, and the profanity and Ill-mannered jokes that we're made towards me from the manager there and I quote "No we cannot give you back the old amp, just kidding. I'm just busting your balls" was just unacceptable. After Al and Ed's on the same exact Valley parkway street, that had zero consideration for customers' time. I really can't imagine how I am going to fully explain my dislike and distrust for the business conducted here, but I'll try. I have driven passed this place for years curious about it, but never really had the need for it until my husband bought himself a BMW, beautiful car...BUT it needed Bluetooth...so why not let's go to this place.. FIRST OFF: They never explained that this Bluetooth would work through the radio station WHICH I WOULD APPRECIATE NOT BEING TREATED AS IF I ASSUMED.... This wasn't a cheap job, it's not like it was $200 and we were like WELP it is what it is... WE PAID OVER $700 dollars for a terrible job... It took the guy forever to figure it out AFTER he installed it...what a joke... Half the time I can't get it to work and the other half, I need an extra 30 minutes to connect it...so unless I'm driving to god forsaken NEVADA...taking the time to connect it isn't even worth my time... I Should have taken that $700....and idk.... done anything else with it...literally anything else... In closing don't waste your money. read more

Well it started with some vehicles had been getting broken into near my neighborhood so because the auto alarm on my Dodge Charger was no longer hooked up on the passenger side. I decided to get a " bigger better alarm" for the new car. They answered right away told me to go there and it would take an hour. My daughter and I decided to stay in a hotel after the first 2 hours of standing outside the business by the sidewalk in the burning sun. It was so hot that day. Did they offer to let us come into their building and wait? No.apparantly they were going to close soon. No offer of a restroom or drink of water was available. Now for the alarm installation and cost. I was to pay $650 up front. I pd cash. When I got my car back a few hours later the speaker for alarm was improperly installed ( you could barely hear it) the button they put in your dash that blinks red? That was just sitting in a newly drilled hole in my dashboard. And they left the other alarm the same. Wouldn't you know it . The passenger side of my car STILL ISNT RESPONSIVE TO THE OPENING OF MY DOOR WHILE IN THE " ALARMED" position! I'm out $ 650. Sunburned. And we never could get a hotel room after all that time standing there waiting for the worst customer service and installation I've ever heard or seen . Sorry guys. There are a lot of places to get windows tinted some places will come to your house but these guys are so expensive. I recently got a 2019 Tesla and wanted it tinted but I got bids of $700-$950Which was unaffordable. I went by Audiosport a few times because I have a doctor close to there and thought I would swing in. Sean who has owned this business for 27 years took great care of me I got a great tint for $350. When I was waiting I saw multiple classic cars come in and they had just finished a 1966 nova wagon which looked like something out of Hot Rod Magazine, 440 Cuda.
