A year ago I bought a new car a year ago and they called me to schedule a complimentary service and oil change. I gave them my mileage and scheduled my appointment. Upon arrival, I was told my appointment was a week ago (not when I scheduled it, since today was my day off). Then I was told no, worries, they will get me in and done in 1-2 hours. So I went to the waiting room. Next I was told they can't offer me complimentary services because of my mileage is past the allocated miles on the warranty. Remember I told the person on the phone my mileage. So I left and don't forget plan to return to Auffenberg. This is not the first waste of time after buying 4, yes f-o-u-r cars from them. read more

I just had my VW Atlas worked on last week at Auffenberg, they were very professional, Larry the Service Director ensured that all was taken care of in a most timely manner. Poor customer service. Poor maintenance. I have a brand new car that has ac issues and has from the time I got it. The first time I took it in they didn't even do anything but tell me I was crazy. That was March. Then I took it in and they found the issue and "fixed" it. Come June when the weather is extremely hot I call to get it looked at again for a third time and they do not have anything for a month out. I asked them to put it as an emergency and they do not consider that an emergency. But driving in 95° car with kids is an emergency to me and probably 99% of normal people. And they never answer the service desk either. They are probably the worst customer service type I have ever dealt with. read more

Excellent buying experience! I purchased a used 2013 Navigator through Brandon at this location, he did great job answering my questions and, since I was purchasing from out-of-town, he did a video walk through of the vehicle and showed me all the points of interest I had on it. When I arrived at the location (after travelling from WI) I inspected the car and took it for a test drive, it was exactly as Brandon had described and what I had seen on the video, no surprises. When it came the finalizing the transaction, I worked with Salvator (in the financial section) and he was straight forward answering my questions and presenting all my options with no "sales tactics pressure". Took possession of the SUV with Brandon giving me some additional info on the vehicle and drove it back 353 miles feeling good about the whole experience with everyone I encountered there. They also followed up a few days later to check and see if I had any questions and how things were going with the vehicle. I can honestly say that of all the vehicles I purchased in the past 30 plus years this was by far my best experience. Thank you. read more

Do not try and get your Volkswagen worked on here! They don't want your business at least that was how I was treated! They wouldn't even look at my car for at least a month ...my car is under warranty and is not running properly. When asked if I could drop it off in the morning so they might look at it and let me know if it's safe to drive, the closest appointment is next month... I work about 1/2 mile from their shop and they didn't have enough time in a day to look at it... bad customer service!! And they aren't even nice about it! I would never buy another vehicle nor try to get any kind of service from them ... remember they don't need new business they have more than enough!! read more

This place really took good care of me. One of the men @ the desk got me a bottle of water so I could take my medicine. They worked on my car today. Replaced a head light. The shop looked really clean. Restrooms were very nice. read more

Thank you to Larry, the Service Manager, for correcting the previous experience and fixing our Passat. Was contacted the day after my initial review and informed that is not how Auffenberg handles service interactions. Asked me to bring the car back and they would complete the service as requested prior. I had already had the oils changed but discussed another issue that had come to light from my drive East. Took the VW in on Wednesday evening and discussed what was happening. Thursday morning they started on the car and found that the whole fuel system from the tank forward needed to be replaced. Due to the size of the job it would not be complete that day. Friday morning around 9:30 got a call that my car was complete. Complete 180 from my first experience. It seems like the first experience may have just been an off day and in any case I would recommend them moving forward and will be taking my vehicle back to them. read more
