They had the car less than 90 minutes and phoned me to tell me it was done. On 09AUG, while driving in New York on vacation, the front driver wheel came off the car and we skidded to a stop. Luckily, no one was hurt and the only damage is to my car. The Firestone in Clifton Park, NY put the blame on shoddy workmanship and repaired the wheel and control arms at no cost to me. They told me that the Fairview Heights Firestone would arrange for the body damage to be done. Instead, I was pushed off to Firestone Corporate who are demanding I sign an agreement (indemnification, non-disclosure, non-disparagement, etc.) before they would pay damages and other associated expenses. So I guess we'll be going to small claims court for relief.

She took it back and they said something just needed to be tightened, charging a nominal fee. a month after that, the car wouldn't start, the check engine light was back on, and the vehicle needed a new battery, alternator and serpentine belt. You have to schedule 1 or 2 weeks in advance just to get in because they are understaffed and overworked. Clearly this has negatively affected the quality of their work. Avoid like the plague!!!!!!

Because of the angle of his adventure, it took longer than expected to fix. They initially were going to bend it out but it wouldn't hold the tail light so they replaced the entire fender. They also touched up a couple of other small spots that I had pointed out to them. They kept me up to date as they worked on it and the final result is awesome. I asked the tech I picked it up from about doing some additional things and he was very helpful on DIY options for my little task.
