Needs to be cleaned more! This place was great when it opened but it's starting to get dirty like hair and dust all over the red light room so gross. The sweaty goats saunas are great but definitely need to be deep cleaned and repaired, one is down because it had nails coming up from the floor. Only 3 of the 4 cold tubs have been working this past month. It can get so busy it's uncomfortable

I decided to wait until my treatments were completed to write a fair and comprehensive review. It's…read moreextremely rare for me to give a 1 star review as I don't want to negatively affect a business but owner Annette said "we do very well" so I guess my review won't matter anyway. I had never even heard of HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) until seeing how it positively affected my brother in law. We found this location to be closest to us so we called but there was no answer. We thought that was very strange (this should have been a huge red flag) so we decided to go in person. We met Jen who was very nice and she explained how it works. The cost is $95/session, $270/3 sessions, $425/5 sessions, and $800/10 sessions. Hubby and I bought the 10 session package for $800 to start. Unfortunately the chamber was very uncomfortable for hubby and he just could not continue after a couple sessions. I ended up completing the 8 sessions and bought another 10 sessions as I had read it takes awhile to feel the effects. I don't have any medical issues for getting HBOT but after about 5 sessions I think I started feeling better in general, or maybe it was a placebo effect and I was trying to justify spending so much money for something I didn't even need. I don't think I'll ever know. Initially everything was fine but I started running into issues with this business. One time on a Friday I went for my session and the place was closed. I waited for 20 minutes and texted Jen but didn't receive a reply until Monday stating she thought her replacement Lisa had told me they would be closed that day. I told her no and she apologized about the misunderstanding so all good. I saw Lisa, Jen's replacement a few times when Jen was off. She was nice enough but one time she did not pressurize the chamber and I didn't even know while I was in there for an entire hour! What a waste of time. She then says well you did get oxygen. I told her I'm not paying $100/session to receive regular oxygen and she said she would make a note. Another time the pressure went off and their response was that happens when the chiropractor next door runs his machine? After my 15th session, Jen advised they'll be closed for a month as she was going on a very long trip. She said the owner was still recovering from her foot surgery and could not bear weight. I was not happy to hear about having a month lapse in treatment but I had no choice other than waiting to hear from them. I received a text from owner Annette 3 weeks later so I made the remaining 3 appointments online. I met Annette and she told me Jen had so many complements for me and hubby. I went for my 16th appointment last Thursday at 10AM and again the place was closed! I waited 10 minutes and text Annette but didn't receive a reply so I left. 20 minutes later she texts me saying her softwareis flip flopping between MST and PST? so I drove back at 11AM and Annette says at first her calendar stated my appt was at 10AM then it showed 11AM. I told her it was the second time I showed up for an appointment and they were closed. Her response was that she has no control over the software and never apologized. If the clients miss a session, they have to pay for the treatment yet there is no accountability at their end?? So unfair and ridiculous. I've NEVER EVER experienced a business being closed when I had an appointment! Get a different software for your business, train your employees right, and be there for your customers when they expect you to be there!! What a ridiculous way to run a business! No wonder I only saw 3 other clients there the entire 1.5 months I had gone there. I was always the only one there getting treatment. I rarely saw anyone before or after my treatments yet the owner says they do very well?? I'm just relieved I don't have to go back there. Huge lesson learned for me never to buy packages unless I am positive about the business.

The treatment was fine but three appointments remaining in the second treatment area and they wanted to charge me my full out of pocket. I cancelled the remaining appointments. Now, a year and a half later on a Saturday morning, my credit card is charged $1500.00. I have not had any contact with their office since January 2025 nor have I received any bills or an EOB from my insurance company telling me I owe them money. They just randomly charged my card for $1500.00. Completely unacceptable.

They never told me my insurance hadn't approved it. They just had me come in, took my copay, did the procedure, and sent me on my way like everything was covered. Almost a full year later, December 29, 2025, I get a bill for $568.61. This is unethical billing. According to Ambetter's own policies, providers are required to "verify eligibility and benefits prior to rendering services" and obtain prior authorization as "a condition of payment." Skin and Cancer Institute's responsibility was to check if the biopsy required authorization BEFORE doing it, not bill me a year later when insurance denies the claim. If they had told me upfront that insurance wouldn't cover it, I could have: -Found a different dermatologist who could get it approved -Worked with my insurance to appeal -Decided whether to pay cash knowing the actual cost -Made an informed decision about my healthcare Instead, they blindsided me with a surprise bill 12 months after the fact. This practice is dishonest and puts profit over patients. Every other medical office I've dealt with gets authorization first or warns you if something isn't covered. Skin and Cancer Institute just does the procedure and sends you the bill when insurance denies it. If you're considering this practice, ask them upfront if they're getting prior authorization. Don't end up like me.

Imagine this, on Sunday I went in the gym app with a very funky mindset determine to claim a spot in the yin yoga class so I could head to gym and do something different, focusing on wellbeing & breath. I thankfully noticed I was waitlisted because had I shown up I would be utterly embarrassed (on my mind) since I think i had signed up for a more advanced yoga class. Haha after that "failed" attempt into my new year, centered-me, I decided to start over on Monday. Monday came I got busy, never made it. Well, TODAY I walked into Mountainside like the boss (of me) and had an amazing workout, hit it up the weights, did some stretches also and I realized how much I have missed being consistent with my gym and my training. I love how clean mountainside always is, the colors around also are pleasing to the eye, great gym layout, cool people doing their thing, friendly staff, it is a very welcoming atmosphere that helps staying motivated. After my workout, I also managed to get a sauna session that is included in my membership. So, despite the unexpected plot twists of my early 2024 (and it is only 2nd week of the year!), I am so thankful for Mountainside for reminding me of my favorite cliches- "life is too short & health is wealth!" Here is to more unexpected twists and trips to mountainside to "pump some iron" and sustain the best version of myself! PS: Namaste with a side of laughter. :)

I don't write a ton of reviews, but this one's worth it…read more I had an incredible experience at True REST Float Spa. From the second I walked in, you can tell they take pride in what they're doing. The place is spotless, the vibe is calm, and everything feels intentional. What stood out to me right away was the staff. Super welcoming, very professional, and they actually take the time to walk you through everything so you're not guessing or feeling awkward your first time. They explain the process, what to expect, and answer anything you throw at them. The float itself... honestly, you just have to experience it. It's one of those things that's hard to explain but you feel the difference right away. Mentally and physically, I walked out feeling reset. I've got to shout out Keeley. She was/is amazing. You can tell she genuinely cares about the experience you're having. Because of how everything was handled, I ended up signing up for a membership on the spot... and completed my second float 48 hours later and I'm already planning my next session. If you've been on the fence about trying this, stop waiting. Just book it. You'll get it once you do.

We were both interested in high concentration Epsom salt, sensory deprivation, and relaxation. But unfortunately we both ended up not loving it :( It was super easy to schedule an appointment, they have a great introductory offer for first time floaters, Keely was amazing at explaining everything to us, and helping to manage our expectations and answering our questions. I love the salt lamps inside! You shower before using the pod, hear music for 15 minutes, then float in darkness (there is a light if you choose to use it) and silence for 40 minutes, then music comes back on for a five minute warning before it's time to get out. The water is skin temperature but I was actually a little bit cold during my float. I tried floating without using any support devices but decided to use the halo when I started to feel some tension in my neck. At one point I did get some salt water in my eye and it does burn pretty bad but they have a spray bottle and washcloth to rinse it out. The reason I didn't love it is really no fault of theirs. I had a hard time quieting my mind. Maybe if I didn't have so much going on, I could have quieted my mind and had a more peaceful experience. I was also a little bit cold so I kept moving around to try to submerge the cold parts of my body to warm up a little. I didn't mind the humidity in the pod and didn't have trouble breathing but my mom really didn't enjoy that part. I got a little nauseated afterwards and chose ginger and mint oxygen scents to try to help with the nausea. Keeley was so accommodating and let me change my sense a couple times. If you're interested in the concept, definitely give it a try! It was very clean and the staff were very kind.
