First off, I am not really a sauna person but I do believe Perspire Sauna Studio has changed my mind. I really enjoyed how the spas were private or can be shared with one other person. I felt like everything was clean, nice, and ready for use. Since it was our first time in, they took time to give us a small spa tour, showed us how the equipment works and what our options were. We did do the add-on Halotherapy (Salt package) as well and enjoyed it. This location does not have showers or the cold plunge. Getting questions answered is like being in the twilight zone...simple question ; Can I reschedule for 1 pm.. 'We only have a 12:55... I had the opportunity to try Perspire when Yelp hosted a Yelp Elite Week in Atlanta a few years ago. I absolutely loved it, but as much as I wanted to sign up for a membership, the location was too far from my house at the time. Fast forward to now, and I live just a few minutes from this Perspire location here in AZ. I signed up for a membership shortly after moving a year ago! As a member, you can visit any Perspire location in the US which is such a great perk. When I went back to Atlanta to visit family during the holidays, I went to a location there a few times to keep up with my routine. It was also a welcome retreat from the cold since it was an unusually cold winter in Atlanta. The studios are pristine and spacious. The staff is always "warm" (see what I did there?) and welcoming. Each room is equipped with a flat screen TV with Netflix, Hulu, etc. I usually catch up on my shows during my 40-minute me time. Temperatures and lights are adjustable to your liking. Clean towels are provided at each session including a cooling one. Going to Perspire has become a big part of my wellness routine: gym then sauna. There are so many benefits, and I've noticed a significant difference in my recovery and overall health since I started going regularly! read more

I was in the area on a Friday afternoon, so I decided to come in for a session! At the beginning of the month I was offered a bogo buy one get one. So I jumped on it! Scheduled for 12:40 but got there about 12:30. The worker was in the back area and rushed to the front. Found my rsvp and said, "you're all set, enjoy." I filled up my water and headed to my room. Before starting, I went to the restroom, which was super clean! I started my session and it was really relaxing. I don't know if anyone else was in other rooms. My sauna was clean and ready to go. I have two towels, and a towel inside on the floor. After my session ended I love using the cold eucalyptus hand towel to cool down! When people say why do a sauna when it's 103 outside? I'll tell you why...because I'm not burning or getting skin cancer. As the pamphlet states, "Perspire's custom infrared (IR) saunas include a medical-grade red light therapy bar. Red light therapy has been proven to reduce oxidative stress and measurably increase cellular energy. This process, also known as photobiomodulation, aids our bodies ability to repair and regenerate." Overall a great experience and can't wait to come back! read more

This is my second visit to the studio and what an amazing visit. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are very clean. I booked online and it was a breeze. When I arrived, everything was set. The towels are clean, and things seemed organized. I arrived a little late but they were fine and let me use my session for 40 minutes. Each of the room has enough space to hang your clothes, a chair, fresh towels, and TV . I really enjoyed my session and had a wonderful time. I would love to become a member in the future. read more

Went today to try this based on all the great reviews. I am not big on saunas & thought I may not like it due to the sweating aspect. I came out however feeling great and the eucalyptus COLD wash cloth at the end just invigorated me as well! I cannot wait till they open in chandler, I will try some more sessions out over at the Gilbert location for now as you have so many health benefits, it's amazing. I really enjoyed my experience here. Booking was quick, easy and convenient on the app. Love that you can see the availability and decide without having to call. When I arrived I received a thorough review of the sauna and process, the sauna also had a card to remind you how to adjust the settings. There are several things I really liked about Perspire. The personnel addressed me by my name twice, card had a personal touch with my name. I love the flexibility that I can control my own settings, the lighting, temperature, and what I listen to and watch was great. Personally I like having the options to control my experience. The 40 minutes were very relaxing and went by quickly. I love that you have your own room and privacy. The only con is the towel was a bit too small to wrap around, maybe I'm a bit thicker than their normal clients. But for future visits, I'll be mindful to bring a large towel. I am looking forward to future visits and would recommend. Parking is a death trap but I park away from Starbucks, a little walk never hurts. read more

Have visited Perspire over 10 times with my husband and we always have the best experience. The staff at the sauna studio is always happy and ready to answer any questions you have or enthusiastic about assisting you make a reservation. They truly care about your well-being and want you to enjoy your session. They assist you in getting the sauna ready for you in advance by asking if you would like to have any presets like your color therapy, tv channel and more. The sauna itself is extremely clean and well maintained. They make sure every session feels like they just opened the studio for you. Each of the studios has a chair, cool towels, a color therapy reference guide, towels inside the sauna, and areas to hang your clothes while you warm up. There is a tv located in each studio room and the audio is all set up to play inside the sauna while you relax. They have Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and more. Feel free to choose between mediation music or catch up on your favorite show for 40 minutes. Each session lasts 40 mins but you set the timer once inside the sauna. I do wish there was a little reminder because sometimes I forget but it's easy to add time in multiple increments on the sauna for your remaining time. The 40 mins is the perfect amount of time and with temps over 140-150 you definitely break a sweat. Sauna 1 and Sauna 9 are extra spacious is you prefer to get your sweat on with a friend or significant other but even all the other studios are perfectly sized for 2 or 1. My husband and I have loved our sessions and have decided to get another package of sessions because the physical and mental benefits have been proven over the last month. We have seen our pain eased after weekly workouts, we sleep better on the days we sweat it out in our sessions, our skin has become better, and our moods have become more positive and relaxed. I came into perspire earlier this morning for the Yelp Elite week, and this was my first time at a sauna business. The man who showed me the sauna room and told me about how it works (I think his name was Andrew?) was very nice and helpful. I loved the individual rooms, and the tv in the room was something I did not expect but loved! I listened to relaxing music on YouTube, but they also have Netflix and Hulu. Very clean, pleasant environment. Love the set up with tv's, lighting, and temp all set to go to your liking before you even arrive. Scheduling is easy on the app and slots almost always open. Front desk staff helpful whether in person or by phone. Unfortunately, though, IR sauna was not for me and I had to stop due to some side effects prior to using my full months membership. Silly me did not notice in the fine print that they will auto renew and charge your card for another month. I know many businesses do this, but it's a shady practice. If I'm not using your service, why are you ok taking my money? Just a heads up to be aware of this policy. Otherwise, if this type of sauna is for you - it's a great place! read more

I can't say enough great things about this place omg. I've been to other sauna/infrared studios and this one is top notch. I was greeted and shown around. The studio has 9 beautiful and private rooms each with the sauna and a tv. You are provided with a body towel, a face towel and then a chilled towel with eucalyptus. After I put on the Netflix show I was interested in watching, I set my timer for 40 minutes and I sat back and relaxed. I loved that the saunas were long enough that I could completely lay out. I did some light stretches and just let my body enjoy the warmth and the lights, wiping my face gently with the provided towel. You can choose the most soothing lights and just kick back. Everything about the experience was calming, relaxing and so luxurious. There are different plan options and you can choose your frequency. I felt so good after I'm definitely thinking about getting a membership to continue this amazing wellness journey. I will definitely be back and can't recommend this place enough! read more

Update: The manager called me back and was so kind and apologetic about the communication error. He said he would talk with the ladies that assisted me about communication. Thank you Perspire :) So I scheduled online for an 8AM appointment on a weekend, however when I looked up their store hours it says they open at 9AM on weekends... so I called anyway thinking maybe they only open at 8 for reservations and 9 for walk ins? I don't know. Anyway, I called in the first 30 minutes and no one answered as I expected (thinking they must open at 9), but then I got a text from an Annmarie (which was not automated) wondering where I was for my 8AM appointment and how she could help me. I texted back several times and got no answer. Then I called back today trying to explain what had happened and the lady on the phone completely cut me off in the middle of what I was *nicely* saying and only gave me a brief explanation saying "oh we changed our store hours" and then proceeded to ask what day would work best for me for rescheduling. I didn't even get an apology or explanation for them not answering the phone the day my appointment was supposed to be when apparently they WERE open. They need to work on dealing with customers properly... :( I hope they learn to communicate with customers better in the future. Edit: I ended up rescheduling and arrived at the location. The woman was nice and the Infrared sauna was very high quality. The room was decorated calmly and nicely as well. There was a TV to watch shows on and chromotherapy inside the sauna. I used the red light therapy. I really enjoyed my experience other than the communication hassle but I am willing to forgive that because I enjoy the infrared sauna that much. Absolutely love this place. Yes gyms have saunas but the private session really is a game changer. Jillian and Andrew gave amazing service and a top of the line customer experience. Place was clean and inviting. Bring a bottle of water as you will be dehydrated. Signed up for the basic monthly membership of 4 sessions we will see if I need more. Its pricey but worth it. I tried this beautiful place today and let me tell you what a treat!. Located in the same building next to the Italian restaurant. Chelsea welcome me into the spa, I showed up a bit early for my app and she already had my room all ready to go, she explained me how everything worked and I started my session. It's a 40 minute experience inside an infrared sauna with lights that are different color for different healing purposes. From the inside of the sauna you can watch and listen to their welcome video that explains you more benefits of the red light and how the control works. After that you are relaxing (and sweating your butt off) you can also select YouTube, Netflix or other apps to listen to music or watch your favorite show. This is a detoxification process which I really enjoyed. I felt I got a lot of toxins out of my body and felt super refreshed afterwards. They also gave me a bottle of water, a package of electrolytes for my water, a dark chocolate protein bar and a cute little sports band. Thank you for treating me to such a nice afternoon! I am IN LOVE! It is incredibly beautiful, clean, and everything you could want is provided. You get plenty of towels, red light therapy, cold eucalyptus towel when you're done, tv to catch up on your shows or to just play some spa music. The staff is so amazing, always remembering you by name with genuine greetings. I really appreciate each person I've come across that's part of their team.
