They offer a lot & it is overwhelming at first (exam, x-ray, adjustment, massage, allergy, etc), but I was able to let them know what I wanted to pursue & what I didn't. Worst experience from a "Caregiver" i have ever had in my life. I approached AFC Mesa with caution in an attempt to deal with my physical pain. I warned them that I have been burned by other Chiropractors in the past and did not want to subscribe to unnecessary appointments and equipment if it wouldn't resolve my issues. I was assured that AFC would take care of my problems and that my first 30 chiro appointments and other cared were confirmed as covered by my insurance. Over the course of my first month of care, AFC started throwing in all sorts of unnecessary health checks and equipment that were not even related to my original complaint. I was again assured that it was part of my treatment program that I agreed to as being covered by insurance. After ~1.5 months of these treatments (and little to no result in resolving my pain) I was brought into the finance office and informed that my insurance provided incorrect information to AFC and that I am now responsible for almost $3,000 in medical services. After trying to fight with them this resulted in them barely reducing the cost to me and offering to put me on a payment plan. Now I am stuck either paying or being sent to collections and no resolution to my health problems. Do yourself a favor and find another caregiver that will not swindle additional services and bills to use you as a cash cow for their business. read more

After weeks a "case manager" that I've never met or talked to reached out with refund instructions. It could take 4-6 weeks to "review". "Business manager" response here should tell you everything. I did all the stretches, regularly. I used all the gimicky tools REGULARLY. Yet each time I visited I received the exact same adjustments. The injections didn't work or help and when I brought it up, I was told I wasn't doing something. The response here from the manager is what you can expect. A lot of excuses and not listening to you. It took three adjustments from Axis Spine and Sport for me to feel great and see a noticeable difference. Go to them. They give you stretches but they don't give you gimicky tools or require you to get injections. OH! I almost forgot! They don't also try to upsell you. I was told inflammation was part of my issue, allergy test was given and also other unneeded tests. They are just charging the shit out of your insurance for unneeded and unwanted services. It is borderline fraud in my opinion. read more

Each Dr. has they own style and techniques, none of which has been the typical cookie cutter work and so many chiropractors. Coupling it with a total health spoeischand testing tailored toward what you need after your assessment is great, ensuring health in realms that even PCP doctors have never checked. On top of that, freedom of choice in which care to incorporate without negativity from the staff is present. I came to the facility mainly due to having vertigo for several weeks looking for a cranial sacral massage I since found out my scoliosis is very bad the vertigo may be caused to disc compression I have had many different test here I'm now getting allergy shots I'm getting injections my vertigo! Worst Experience Ever. Stay away. Went to my first visit. Lasted about 90 minutes. Told them i was interested in some chiropractic care and some physical therapy and some other stuff depending on how it goes. We talked about a few things. I left my first appointment without being adjusted because Dr. Jace said he wanted to do some resesrch first. Ok, that's weird, but ok. On my way out, Dr Jace said " Hey, I just want to let you know they are going to talk about financial stuff next time you come in and I am just giving you a heads up. It was really weird and the first time I had a doctor say that to Me. I have insurance and I hit my deductible, so I wasn't worried. So I decided to show up for my 2nd appointment and see what I was in store for. They asked me like 10 different questions gearing me to answer with what I already knew was written on the paper....and I was right. They had the audacity to try to get me to pay for 7 months of treatment up front in advance. A Whopping $2100. CORRECT, $2100...But they could give me a break and My down payment only had to be $1600 if I paid today. LMAO. I told them they were out of their mind. I said, "Why would I pay for 7 months of treatment upfront without even getting as much as an adjustment? Well, Dr Jace wants to make sure you are committed. I BET HE DOES. This Dr who is barely out of college 2 years, could barely look at me when speaking, and couldn't adjust me without doing "research", but I am supposed to trust him and cut him a check for $2100.....oh wait, sorry, $1600 if i paid today. He was a nice guy, I will give him that, but not nice enough for me to cut a check for advanced medical payments. As I was walking out, the nice gentlemen asked me if he wanted Dr Jace to adjust me. That was pretty funny. I give him an "A" for effort and sticking to the script. In this day and age, you can run your business however you want. But this approach to care is simply unacceptable. For those of you that like this place, more power to you. Everyone was very nice and they probably have great care. But don't insult me by asking me for 7 months worth of treatment upfront to make sure I am committed. UNREAL. read more

So incredibly thankful for this place! I've been a patient here for 3 years now and they have been there for me. I started care when I could barely hold my toddler my back hurt so bad. After a year plan I was feeling so much better. I was able to get pregnant (I'd been having trouble conceiving and staying pregnant) and continued care throughout the pregnancy, which was a huge help with my sciatica pain. Afterwards I was just going in for maintenance but had someone I trusted who could help my daughter who'd had a traumatic entrance and had been having seizures (she's been seizure free for two years in January!). This past year they've helped a friend who'd been having constant migraines to the point where she couldn't leave her room for a week. And another friend who was in tears when she tried to move from the pain in her back. They've helped me AGAIN when I was recently rear-ended and suffering from whiplash.
