A very busy restaurant, we walked in and waited about 40 minutes for a table, with lots of people waiting and the entrance was packed with customers. While the wait was longer than expected, the front-of-house team handled the queue with great patience and organization, which made the experience feel smooth and well managed. We didn't realize reservations were available, but will definitely book in advance next time. The all-you-can-eat menu offers an impressive variety from fresh sashimi and sushi rolls, fried food, Brazilian BBQ, dim sum, desserts, and more. The iPad ordering system is user friendly and makes the entire dining experience seamless. Presentation was excellent, standing out from typical all-you-can-eat restaurants, the food was consistently fresh and delicious. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and variety offered. Dinner ranges from $42.99 (Mon-Thu), $44.99 (Fri-Sun), and $45.99 on holidays, while lunch ranges from $29.99 to $32.99, offering great overall value. Service was truly exceptional. Lily, our server, a lovely young lady, attentive and thoughtful. I've been here multiple times hoping to enjoy the Brazilian BBQ experience, but each visit has been disappointing. Every time, we were seated along the sides of the restaurant rather than in the middle aisle. It became obvious that unless you're seated in the center, you rarely get visited by the servers carrying the grilled meats. Across multiple visits, they only stopped at our table once or twice, offering just a single bite-sized piece each time. The whole point of Brazilian BBQ is to enjoy the continuous tableside meat service, but we barely experienced it. Instead, we ended up eating mostly from the tablet menu, which completely defeats the purpose of paying for the Brazilian BBQ experience. If the quality of the experience depends on where you're seated, that's something the restaurant should address. My family and I wanted to try the Brazilian BBQ menu, so we visited on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was quite busy, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The service was subpar throughout the meal. It felt like the Brazilian BBQ servers were focusing more on one side of the restaurant, as we rarely received the meats compared to other tables. We were especially excited for the grilled pineapple, but it only came around once during the entire hour and a half that we were there. The food itself was hit or miss. Several of the meats we tried were either overly salty or too peppery for our taste. We also experienced issues with our orders, including missing items and dishes being delivered incorrectly to our table. Overall, we left feeling that both the service and food quality fell short of expectations. Our first time here to try Brazilian bbq menu and Asian Ayce. The place was busy and I am glad we made reservations. The Brazilian bbq was excellent. The only thing missing is a little salt and seasoning on the steaks. We enjoyed the bbq meats and Gauchos were coming by very frequently. There were about 5 different steaks. I didnt get to try the bacon wrapped medallions. Asian Ayce menu has some special items like sushi tacos, ceviche, chinese dim sum, etc. The maki rolls were filled with lots of seafood but a little bit too thick. We didnt have chopsticks to eat the rolls so we ended up using our hands. Overall the food was great and nice vibe here. The NBA Playoffs were playing on the tvs. The service here is friendly and they check on you regularly and refill your water pitcher. There's a 2.4% service charge if you pay by credit card. They encourage you to pay by cash or debit card. I downloaded the August 8 app so I can collect points for future rewards. I got 899 points for 2 adult Ayce dinners. I believe 1000 points = $5 off. A few reasons why I consider this spot just ok. In terms of their food, I thought everything was up to standard. They do have some different items on their menu like different tatakis, ceviche, and sushi tacos, but for the sushi itself I was hoping for more specialty rolls.. their selection on the sushi front is pretty basic in my opinion. I did get to try their new Brazilian steak option and I felt their meats were very mediocre. I tried mostly everything that came my way and most cuts were chewy or fatty. They were also kind of inconsistent with their cutting service... sometimes I got little cubes of meat. I also felt servers didn't circulate well with the meat service. For instance, they would sometimes detour to a table across from us but wouldn't come back and get us with the offering, which was kinda frustrating when we'd see something we wanted. Dessert selection is pretty decent with ice cream, buns, cakes, and mango pudding. The restaurant space is very crammed. As a party of 2, we were seated at a small square table and I felt pretty close to those seated beside us. The 2-seater tables make it very hard to manage plates as they come in as well, since there's limited space to put things. Service was mostly attentive though in clearing our dishes. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that I saw a poster when we walked in that advertised a "$20 off" birthday month promo for members (which is free to sign up). When I asked the server about it since my bf just had his birthday, she said we wouldn't be able to take advantage as it takes 24 hours for your membership to kick in after registering, which I feel is a load of crap or designed deliberately as a schemy loophole. Like I made a reservation a week in advance, and indicated on the reso that it was for a birthday. Not that it should matter, but my bf has dined here a couple times already too. If you're going to advertise a birthday perk, either honour it fully, or don't offer it at all. I can see the appeal for this spot especially for those wanting to try it for the first time. We came for dinner on a Sunday. After running around Activate the sushi tasted divine. The torched rolls were so delicious. Ribs were amazing. Pretty much everything we ordered was good if not great. My only gripe is that we couldn't order the cakes in addition to the icecream. But other than this one miniscule thing, food was amazing, service was efficient, and the ambiance was pretty. Ordered our rolls and sushi/sashimi and nothing came, it had been over an hour so I asked and they said the kitchen is backed up. Finally a bit of food starts coming, we had to ask specifically for wasabi. The rice for the sushi was disgustingly sour, neither of us could even enjoy it. Choked down the sour rolls, server came over and said our 1.5 hour dining time limit is up, I said we haven't even gotten all the food we ordered over an hour ago! Food: We went for AYCE and it was super good! It was $41.99 cad (before taxes) and honestly, I'd say we got a good amount of food for the price. If you were to get something, get the Oshi sushi and miso soup! Even at an AYCE place, the oshi sushi (especially the salmon) was really good and I'd definitely come back just to order that continuously :) my friends also really enjoyed the mango salad. The ice-cream was a bit too icy for my liking but I can't complain since we were given basically unlimited ice-cream! One thing not to get: udon. The food came quickly and before we knew it, everything was already on the table. I went to the August 8 location at Eglinton next to Chako Korean BBQ and the Cineplex move theatre plaza. I attached a lot of pictures below of the dishes and the decor. There used to be other sushi stores here a few years ago like Numerous Sushi and Imperial Buffet Chinese. You order all dishes on an iPad screen with pictures of each dish and the food is prepared in the kitchen quickly. After being seated by my waiter Karl, I ordered to see how long it would take for dishes to arrive. I waited 10 minutes for the first dishes to arrive after ordering which was skewers and dumplings, the sushi arrived exactly 20 minutes after ordering as it was made in the kitchen. The screen says which waiter you have, but all four waiters will serve the customer to bring dishes and clear tables which leads to fast service when eating.
