Very unreliable and unprofessional business. I do not recommend for selling your car…read more After a nearly fifteen minute phone call with an AI voice assistant ( the only point of contact that was accessible through the listed numbers for Norcross) I was told my car would be picked up the next day at 10 and I would receive a phone call when they were nearby. On the day of I received no calls, emails or texts and they did not come to pick up my car nor did they reach out for cancellation or rescheduling. I attempted to call twice around the fifteen minute late and hour late marks and was not able to contact anyone as their AI was not set for prompts with missed appointments. Look elsewhere, especially if your car is in good condition and only has a minor problem you're not willing to fix.

The vehicle was never picked up and no one ever called. today called again First thing this morning. Was told it would be moved to a different hauler & it would be picked by 5 again. Still hadn't heard anything by 1:30 & called again, being assured that they were with another seller and were still coming. 4:30 comes and called back to still getting the run around and being told there was no manager or supervisor to talk to. Vehicle never picked up. Wasted our time and lied to us for 2 days straight. This company is a scam. Do not do business with them.

They broke down the…read morecost of the air filter depending on the price and quality, giving me essentially three different tiers to choose from. The associates I spoke with was Logan and Stephanie, with Logan even explaining on how to do the installation on my vehicle, the direction it was to be installed correctly on my vehicle. Logan, even recommend a cleaning kit and how long my air filter should last, which is almost 100,000 miles. I will definitely be back to get their feedback on other parts I need to install on my vehicle. I know there is an Autozone around the corner, but I highly recommend Advance Auto Parts for their customer service. After speaking with Logan, I definitely would go back for a new battery, which they would install and get rid of my old battery. I went to another competitive store a year ago for my battery and I kinda had to beg for them to assist me in installing my battery, which they finally did after bringing in my tools. I can install and replace a car battery myself, but if I am spending money every couple of years for a new battery and they are willing to install it. I would definitely go back.

On July 21, 2025, I spoke with the owner, Eddie, who agreed to refund me $250. During our…read moreconversation, he acknowledged a breakdown in communication between the original technician and the one who later attempted to complete the work. He admitted that key information wasn't properly passed along. Eddie also confirmed that the confrontation with the tow truck driver did occur, and while he acknowledged it was an unfortunate situation, he said there was blame to go around. That said, my experience with Butler's Automotive, located at 1401 Reynolds Street in Augusta, Georgia, was truly awful. We initially brought our Toyota Tundra in to have the rear wheel bearings replaced. After the job was supposedly completed, I noticed a persistent noise while driving. I returned and asked them to recheck the work. They told me the bearings were fine and instead claimed the driveshaft needed to be replaced. They quoted me $2,200 to install a new driveshaft. Alternatively, if I provided my part, they would charge $400 for installation. I was also told that if I chose not to proceed with the installation, I would still owe $200 for labor already performed. I ordered a new driveshaft and had it shipped directly to their shop. After the driveshaft arrived, they told me it wouldn't work and insisted I now owed $400--double the amount originally stated if I chose not to go forward with the job. When I pushed back and reminded them of the $200 agreement, they justified the higher charge by citing time spent moving the truck in and out of the bay. Though I strongly disagreed, I paid the $400 just to get my vehicle back. Once I had the truck, I installed the same driveshaft myself without issue. The part simply required a universal joint strap--something any competent technician should have recognized and handled easily. Their claim that the part didn't fit was unfounded. To make matters worse, when the tow truck driver arrived to retrieve my vehicle, Eddie and several employees were disrespectful and used profanity toward him. Their behavior was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. In total, I lost $400--$200 in unnecessary shop fees and $200 for towing--due to poor communication, misdiagnoses, and unprofessional conduct. While I appreciate the partial refund, the overall experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend Butler's Automotive to anyone. If I could give them a rating below one star, I would.
