I hired Cabrera Landscaping for a new concrete patio in my backyard in Dallas TX. I had many different landscaping contractors come and talk to me about my project and give me a quote many were outrageously expensive or seemingly incompetent. The owner of Cabrera Landscaping personally came out to take a look at my job and give his suggestions and an honest quote. This gave me confidence that they are taking every project seriously from small to large. The quality of work I had seen from other projects and the quote coming back at an affordable price point made my choice to move forward with Cabrera a no brainer. Once I signed a contract and got a deposit work started almost right away and was completed in an efficient amount of time. At the end of the job there were a few punch list items that needed to be resolved and the team at Cabrera jumped in to make everything right as soon as possible to make sure I was happy. We are now enjoying our new patio right in time for the fall season. It is my pleasure to write this review of Cabrera Landscapers, who just finished an extensive stone and paver job on my property. I have an acre, and much of the backyard surrounding the pool and walkways was done in travertine stone, altogether a couple of thousand square feet. I had extensive flood damage to the stone in the last 2 years. Much of the stone had to be removed and reset or replaced, of course with a completely new stone bed and mortar. In addition I had a broken area of my driveway that needed to be redone with concrete pavers. The masons finished their job about a week ago and I was just amazed at how meticulous they were. I have done complete remodels, including extensive landscaping, on six different houses, and the paving work done by Cabrera was so far superior to any other crew I have hired that there is really no second best. They were head and shoulders above all the others. They were absolute perfectionists, and did not rush at all. What was originally thought to take 3 days or so turned into a 5-day job for a three man crew, but there was not a bit of complaining from anyone. They did not try to increase the charge because of the unanticipated extra labor. The owner of the company was always available and always responsive to any question. What I have today is a hardscape that is far superior to the original installation done 10 years ago. Had some problems with my sprinklers recently, so checked out businesses in my area on Yelp. Gave Cabrera a call because they were close by and had some good reviews. Called several times only to get a voicemail telling me to leave a message, then kept getting a message that the mailbox was full. Not sure how someone can expect to run a business this way. read more

Called Octavio Cabrero about fixing a stuck valve on one of my sprinkler stations. He came today, the same day i called. He had a job in Dallas and said he would come by this afternoon. He and his dad came and fixed my problem. They are so personable and very reasonable. I would highly recommend. They are our new go to sprinkler company. read more

Octavia and his father were great! I had them do an overhaul on my existing sprinkler system looking at all of the heads and repairing one zone not working. They also laid some grass for me. A few days later I had a very wet spot in the yard and I thought I might have a leak he came back and checked it out and it ended up being nothing but I appreciated the customer service after-the-fact. I didn't get another quote so I can't really speak to how competitive they were but I thought the cost was reasonable. The only negative thing I could say is I did have a few spots where they dug up that I had to put the grass back together myself.
