The food consisted mainly of premade sandwiches and appetizers, but they were fresh and warmed up when ordered. The Cuban and soup were great, and better than most pub food offerings. All in all, Crane is a good brewery with friendly staff, a solid variety of beer styles, and a small but tasty selection of food. I'd recommend any beer snob check it out when in the area, and hopefully you'll have Charlie pouring beers and chatting with you.

The best beer is your favorite beer and you should be able to find something that hits the spot. Food is available, however the kitchen backs up when it gets busy. The only downside was that they quit serving beer at halftime of the game we were watching. The game that went into extra time and on to penalty kicks. So we sat there for an hour and a half, thirsty, pockets full of unspent cash, watching the game while the neglected taps mercilessly mocked us. It honestly seemed baffling and inane beyond belief. Still, looking forward to a return trip when they're more willing to part with their delicious brews.

They have a happy hour from 4-6 p.m. In the winter they usually run a special where you get a discount for sitting outside in the cold. I've done that a few times. Their calendar is always chock-full of events, so I recommend checking out their social media accounts to look for something fun.

I wish they offered an extra seasonal, but I understand a brewing schedule that features quick moving draughts. A small note - please watch your check.
