From the moment we…read morewalked in, the smell of the fresh-made bubble waffles filled the shop, and we knew we were in for a treat. We loved everything we tried. My favorite was the Bubble Waffle Sundae, while my bf is always a fan of the Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake. You can really taste the quality because everything is made in-house--from the rich, creamy ice cream to the warm bubble waffles and even the whipped cream, which I was absolutely obsessed with. What really made the experience stand out was the people. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. The owner was working in the shop when we visited, and he was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. It's always nice to support a local business where the owner is so involved and takes pride in every order. If you're looking for homemade ice cream and desserts on Long Island, Strong Island Ice Cream is definitely worth the stop. Great desserts, great service, and a great overall experience. We can't wait to come back! By the way, there is plenty of parking, the walls are very insta-worthy if you want to take photos with your beautifuly constructed sundaes, and there's some seating, and very clean as well.

There is a QR code at the tables and they prefer you to order at your table, however we had questions and some items were not on the QR menu so we had to go to cashier and ask questions. There is lots of seating on the floor on cushions and mattresses, but there are also several chairs. When you enter you have to take your shoes off, which is not an issue, just wish they had a bench you could sit on to take off your shoes and put your shoes on afterwards, as that was difficult for me , as I didn't have slip ons. That's my only negative. Food was delicious . I tried a new beverage and the pistachio cake- both delish! It is located in a strip mall, so lots of parking. Prices reasonable

My last visit (Friday afternoon) I ordered a Medium Wintermelon Milk Tea (you can get it without the milk), Grilled Chicken Garlic Noodles and a Grilled Shrimp Rice Bowl. Everything was delicious and very flavorful though I felt the Garlic Noodles were a bit on the saltier side and the Wintermelon Milk Tea was a bit too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). There were a lot of flavorful chicken pieces and the shrimp came with about 7-8 pieces, also very flavorful. They have 3 different sauces that I was given since I was eating there and just returned it to the counter once done. My favorite of the 3 was the more liquidy one though they all tasted great. The place is located in a strip mall with a lot of free parking. There's some seating inside and one small table outside. It's spacious and clean. They have great background music playing and their unisex bathroom is spacious and clean as well. The food came out in a reasonable time and the staff (I'm assuming maybe the owners) were also very pleasant.

Whether you're an ice cream enthusiast or just have a sweet tooth, Mickey's has something for everyone: traditional ice cream, cakes, hand made pies, premium pints, non-dairy options, and their famous ice cream sandwiches (yummm). There were so many flavors and treats to choose from that it took us a while to decide! I loved seeing the grab-and-go pints, such a great idea for busy families or for bringing dessert home. Before making my final choice, I sampled the cookie dough ice cream (which was rich and packed with doughy pieces), but I went with a scoop of Java Chunk in a cone with chocolate sprinkles. The flavor was spot on! A perfect blend of coffee and chocolate chips. My niece opted for her all-time favorite, cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles. The look on her face was pure joy. We took our treats outside and enjoyed them in the seating area, which was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing on a sunny day and making the most of the beautiful weather. My niece told me it was the best day ever when we were enjoying our ice cream, so safe to say this place does it right.

I also appreciate that they have non-dairy options which I have try still.
