Man, that ice cream shop's staff moves like they're stuck in slow motion-painfully annoying. Ordered two scoops and thought I'd age a decade waiting. They're not just slow; they're basically frozen, still stirring the chocolate topping five minutes later.and I'm thinking, Hurry up, it's melting! I came to this friendly's with my ex-boyfriend and his friend. It was friendly's but some are better than others. They had a cheese skirt burger on the menu and they offered an impossible burger version because I am a vegetarian and I was super excited to eat a burger with a huge heaping amount of cheese in it. I also had mozarella cheese on my fries because why not and they offer lobster bisque during certain times I was told it was pretty good. This friendly's is definitely one of the better ones. Their food isn't known to be great, the ice cream is better but I ate so much dinner there was no room for ice cream that night. Sunday night, 7pm there was no customers, it was just me and someone who was picking up a door dash order. i went to pick up my online order and as soon as i walked in i got my ice creams. then i went back to the car to check before i drove away because the last 2 times my order was incorrect when i got home, and sure enough when i looked in the bag my order was wrong. so i walked back in with my 2 medium sundaes that were both incorrect, one that was half empty and one that was the completely wrong. I handed the receipt to the woman and said "these aren't even close to what i ordered. how does this happen?" she acted very surprised that it was incorrect and she gave me 2 new sundaes. i don't understand how orders can continue to be wrong. it's really not that hard to read but if you can't maybe you should be in a different profession. read more

Friendly's has always been a staple for delicious ice cream treats since before I could even remember. For my birthday, my family and I decided to stop in to get some ice cream for dessert. We walked in and there was a bit of a wait to be seated, which was fine. We were standing and waiting in the designated area, when I saw the party waiting ahead of us hand their baby over the ice cream counter for one of the ice cream employees to hold her. Even if they were close personal friends, this was completely unsanitary to have a young child over in the area where people are preparing food. It didn't look like anything happened, but it was just something that made me a bit wary. Regardless, we decided to stay and the ice cream was good and our server was pleasant. read more

Our waiter was very nice.We were seated by the kitchen opening and for Friendlys which is sugar and kiddie loud.The staff needed to turn their volume down.I have been craving a Fishamajig for close to a month(lol)...well I should have passed.The menu pic was the exact same fish filet.When served I could not even eat it..and I was starving.The breading yuck and the fish was worse than an 80's school lunch.The soda tastes like that odd not good tap flavor.Large yes,refreshing no.One thing that we were both wondering was who took the whipped cream off of my sundae?Off of his??My strawberry topping was 1 strawberry and a dab of syrup.The ice cream tasted fresh though for I love my butter crunch.I never got a soda refill nor asked if I wanted one.Now I see why half of the locations locally are closed.Too expensive for not a fun experience.Look at the pics....where are my toppings??? read more

Brought the three kids (12, 10 and 7) out for dinner the other night to keep them out of the wife's hair while she was having people over for a school meeting. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who brought us to our very cramped booth for four. I mean the table TINY. My oldest ordered the appetizer sampler platter for dinner. It came with mozzarella sticks, cheese waffle fries with bacon and something else. She had no complaints. I found the cheese fries to be a bit salty but the sticks were delicious. My ten year old ordered the fried clams adult dinner. The clams and fries were absolutely delicious. They were cooked perfectly and she finished the whole thing. The little guy ordered the Mac and cheese with a hot dinner kids meal. Nothing special here. Very standard Kraft- like boxed Mac and cheese and the hot dog was cooked well and tasted as expected. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak melt which was delicious. The fries that accompanied were cooked perfectly and tasted great. Our server was super sweet and very patient. She really was great. We finished off with ice cream which was presented as ordered and we had no complaints. Oversll, besides the super tight booth we had a very pleasant experience. I will definitely bring the kiddies back again. It's not a date night place but for a nice spot to eat with the kids it's perfect. Total came out to $80 even, $13 tip included. read more

We miss Frank! Our waitress Carrie was not just rude but dangerous. I told her I have an allergy to peanuts so please give me M&Ms in my ice cream not Reese's pieces. She said oh ok no problem . We got our ice cream , I took a bite and knew within seconds she gave me Reese's pieces . I took Benadryl fast and told her. Went to pick up our dinner order at the takeout window. It was pouring rain and I forgot my mask. The server at the window asked if I had one and I went back out to get it. She was very polite but the other server standing there had a rude comment like" How do you forget your mask in the car?" Well gee superstar, haven't you ever forgotten anything in your life before? What I think is hysterical is that they're standing there taking orders from tables of maskless people for hours on end but she had to make a comment about me. read more

This is by far my favorite friendlys...if Frank is working! He is the BEST waiter ! He is so sweet and attentive and remembers us when we come in (maybe I'm too frequent - don't judge me! Haha). The food is usually always hot never cold as if it's been sitting in the back by a no caring waiter! I've only had one bad experience here that I can remember and Frank wasn't the server that night!
