Pretzels are usually warm and delicious. It's a franchise and some locations have horrible customer service!

This place has the best pretzels and dips especially if bringing something to a party BUT definitely not worth the wait for pick up after ordering online in advance. Long Long Line and it isn't moving at all...definitely would have to think twice before ordering again on a holiday. read more

Placed an order at the store. Very small ordering arra but large kitchen in the back. Clean and only 2 people working. Pretzels weren't amazing but if you're craving one like my family was, good to know it was in this.shopling center. I do recommend their spicy brown mustard. It was tart, spicy and had a good strong mustard flavor. The pretzels are very good, however, the wait/system is ridiculous. Placed an online order for 6:30, waited on line for 2 hours!!! Granted it was NY eve, but a complete disaster. This is the 2nd time I've ordered from them and both times I had to wait. What's the point of placing an order online? read more

First and last time here. 2 stars because the pretzel bites were soft and there was a decent amount for $5. Customer service was awful. I was not greeted when I walked in and the people that came after me were unhappily greeted. I came at 6:20 PM, they close at 7 PM. When I asked for a cup of bites with no salt the girl rudely said, "it's going to be a 10 minute wait" insinuating that they close in 40 mins and she was done for the day. I politely stated I would wait the 10 mins and she reminded me again that it would be a 10 minute wait. I then asked for butter on the bites but she told me how they can't do that because "only the cinnamon bites are processed with butter". They can't just put butter on it? I've never had that issue at auntie Anne's. Even if your store closes in 40 mins, you should still have great customer service as if your shift was just starting. read more

I've been to other locations and have enjoyed them all. Who doesn't love pretzels? This location is very close to work..which could be a good and a bad thing. I ordered rivits. Delicious pretzel bites. I got it with the cinnamon dip. It was yummy and fresh. The only thing that was lacking here was customer service. I was barely greeted. Also after I paid, my rivits container was practically still behind the counter. I know it's covid times, so I don't expect it to be handed to me directly, but I also don't expect it to be left behind the counter for me to reach over either. I was excited to try this place out when I heard it was going to be local. Their website is awesome. Everything is clearly listed and priced to make ordering super easy. My first order was for a big group. I did half pretzels half hot dogs and they were excellent. We barely had any leftover. My second order was much smaller and it was an easy pick up and most importantly they tasted fresh. My boyfriends family also ordered platters from them and again. My friend was hyping this place up and I was looking forward to trying the pretzels. The place enforces the mask rule and has a huge plexiglass in front of the cashier. The facility is kind of small and fits probably about 4-5 people due to Covid. I ordered 2 pretzel dogs to try as we ordered a huge platter and those pretzels were hard as a rock. The hotdog also tasted a bit odd, maybe they were made earlier in the day because it tasted old. The platter was good though, those pretzels were fresh. Try and get the pretzels fresh because they taste 100% better then they are. Not sure if I'll be back though unless ordering a platter for a large event. read more

Philly Pretzel Factory opened a franchise location in my neighborhood two months ago. I'd been waiting to try them out, and I've been there twice thus far. Tale of the tape: Pretzel One was provided complimentary during their grand opening period. Decent, soft inside and a little firm but light crunch outside, not too salty. Spicy Sausage Shaker A spicy sausage wrapped by a pretzel. The sausage is a mild spice at best, and I wouldn't have minded a bit more kick. For that, you can choose from their requisite dipping sauces - Spicy Brown Mustard, Super Hot Mustard, and Tangy Sriracha. Mini Cheesesteaks Shaker A sphere of pretzel containing the filling of a philly cheesesteak, about the size of a golf ball. I would've liked a bit more filling - the cross-sectional picture of these on their website shows triple the amount of actual filling. They're decent, probably would be better with one of their cheese dips, as I had them wit'out . . . Mini Dogs Shaker Mini beef hot dogs wrapped by pretzel. Decent flavor and taste. Will I go back for more? Yes, this time to try some of the above with dipping sauces. read more

Their pretzels are delicious but I shouldn't be able to tell you that. Why? Because I'm gluten free and these pretzels are NOT - despite more than one employee claiming their entire facility is gluten free. Philly Pretzel Factory PLEASE train your employees better. So I was thrown off that this location has 5 pretzels for $5, and not 6 pretzels, but that wasn't a big deal. The fact that the pretzels weren't hot, was! Not sure if the heating lamps need to be turned up, but I ate a lukewarm pretzel as I drove away, disappointed. Hopefully the rest will taste better, once they're heated up at home. read more

As good as the pretzels are the service is an absolute killer! I walked in, and they had 1 line. The teller had people cutting before I can order because they're picking up. 25 minutes to place an order!! I was told 15-20 minutes...... I run to another store come back in 20, and it's 50 minutes after my order and still didn't get it. It's 1 tray of rivets... seriously ?? Ordered a platter on a sunday for a july 4 pick up after 3:00pm. I get there and they do not have an order for me. Six people in the back doing a lot of running around. The manager said wait 3 minutes and he will make my order. Other people are in there waiting and or wondering where there order is. I asked for a refund of &54.00 and left. Horrible customer service. I went there with my toddler son. Total was $5.99. During my transaction the credit machine wasn't working. I did not have cash. I suggested to the employee after minutes of blank stares to call the owner or manager. 20 mins later I'm still waiting while the owner and I assume his son when back and forth on the phone. I was getting fed up (I would have left sooner if not for my son wanting the pretzels). The other employee asked if she could just give us the now 20 mins cold pretzels at this point as we've been waiting. He said no!!! .... Are you kidding me?!?! I would never step foot in that place again. Beware because I'm sure they put those pretzels right back in the display case to sell. read more

I'm so glad we have one in North Babylon. I travel a lot and when I see a Philly Pretzel Factory always stop and buy. Nice and soft and buttery with just enough salt. I love the frostings sometimes I'll get extra just to eat buy itself. The weekday specials is great at lunch with friends to add with what every your eating for lunch or take it home to add with dinner of a snack while watching tv or a movie!! read more
