Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel
Dallas A.

Okay so I'm a huge pretzel guy, so much so that I went to two separate malls yesterday (National Pretzel Day) to get free pretzels. I have to say that the cinnamon sugar pretzel I got here at Auntie Anne's could be the best cinna-sugar pretzel I've had in Utah to this point. It was soft, it was sweet, and it had the perfect ratio of coating to pretzel. Well done Auntie Anne's!

I needed a quick bite after working all morning and headed to auntie Anne's! Honestly I LOVE the pretzels here! I always get the pretzel bites, and this time the pretzels were right out of the oven super warm and fluffy! The one thing I am not a fan of is the cheese. Ha I got a warm soft pretzel with cold flat cheese is not the best. It took a while for my order because the pretzels were still cooking but they gave me a free coupon!

**Update While stopping by the Grand Lobby to add my points we found a coupon for Auntie Anne's. The line was short and moved quickly. We decided on 2 salted pretzels. Great customer service, friendly and quick. We will definitely return:)

I feel bad for them because it's obviously family owned and they're trying. Hoping they can improve their service, speed and taste. They could literally get pretzels from Sam's Club and reheat them and they'd be better. The pretzel bites are small. Some were overcooked, some were raw. They've only been open for a month or so. Maybe it'll get better but it really made me miss Auntie Anne's...

The site was easy to use and the pretzels where ready when we got there to pick them up. The lady who gave us the pretzels wasn't super friendly. She wasn't rude or anything but basically just handed us the bag as soon as we walked in and didn't say much. I would have liked some friendly conversation. We ordered four pretzels and an order of pretzel dogs. We were surprised that the pretzels are not actually pretzel shaped. They are long and straight. They are big, though! One is enough for two people to share for sure! They were good but almost seemed a little doughy and didn't have that soft pretzel taste. I wish that my salted pretzel had a little more salt but it was good and we would visit again. I want to go back and try the soup someday. The price is great for the size of pretzel you get. I hope they can stick around. We'll try again for sure.

Glad we did. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and watching them make pretzels from scratch right in front of you is a nice touch. We ordered three Salty pretzels and one BBQ (Parmesan, garlic, and herb). They came out fresh and fast, doughy, warm, and finished with a generous slather of olive oil. Both varieties were good, though we'd probably stick with just the Salty ones next time. The real standout was the Dangerous cheese dip. It was such a hit with the whole family that we ordered a second cup before we left. On the drive home, I asked my kids to compare it to Pretzelmaker, their longtime favorite and a high bar. They voted Dangerous Pretzel. That pretty much says it all.

We came on a Friday night and tried a traditional with cheese dip and the dessert cinnamon. I was really hoping for a soft buttery pretzel with a cheese dip that had some texture but instead it was hard, dry, and runny cheese. Nice ambiance and the joint has so much potential, the service was great but the pretzels were a flop for us unfortunately. It was a mediocre enough of a pretzel experience that we likely can't justify coming back but honestly it's a cool concept, just wish the pretzels were more epic.

A year later, I decided to try it again cause 1) convenience since it's down the road, 2) hardly ever has a line and 3) things change, people change. Let me tell you, when I decided to try it again a month ago, it was one of the best drinks ever. Went again a few days after, same thing. Crispy, fresh, even cheaper than most soda shops. Not sure if the first time was due to ordering the wrong drink or what but these last few times have hit it on point. Our favs are: sunkissed, midday mojito with peach. Oh, they also have DIP N DOTS!! And the good Tostinos Nacho chips.

Quench It is minutes from my house. I don't even drink soda but soda shops are a huge addiction of mine. I get flavored sparkling water and the Citrus Splash at Quench it is my personal favorite. Nothing beats a huge 44 oz cup of pebble ice and a refreshing fruity sparkling water. I can't speak on their other treats because I haven't tried any, but my kids like the pretzel bites and they love the unique kid drink options. The one with the butterfly comes with an enormous butterfly gummy on top. We will be back again and again!

My favorite mall snack is a baked pretzel and Pretzelmaker provides just that!…read more I like to buy the pretzel bites because they are the perfect size to dunk into dipping sauces. I'm a little too lazy to break apart a whole pretzel by hand, it's cleaner on the fingers to not rip apart a whole pretzel, and the pretzel bite cup is very handy to carry around. I know for a fact that the pretzel bites are popular because every time I stand in a long line, people mostly order the bites. It might have something to do with easier sharing with family and friends... but I don't like to share my pretzels :P I constantly crave salty, creamy, and cheesy foods, so I make sure I order the cheddar cheese dipping sauce with my (salted) pretzel bites every time. The cheese sauce reminds me of warm, boxed mac and cheese sauce from childhood, yum! My only qualm about the pretzel bites is that sometimes they feel too doughy on the inside. I wonder if it's because the oven heat needs to be cranked up a little. The staff are always very friendly at this location. Feel free to ask for a sample of a pretzel bite!
