The coupon wasn't scanning correctly but the cashier and one of the bakers, Mikey and Erin, helped me and patiently figured it out for me. When I got my lemonade, I accidentally knocked it over spilling on their counter and floor. I felt so bad but they kindly showed me to the napkins and refilled my drink for me. Mikey and Erin were super kind throughout the interaction, and they even complimented my outfit! The hype team I didn't know I needed! Their natural and friendly engagement made the wait for a fresh cinnamon sugar pretzel super short and enjoyable. I am one happy bean with a fresh-out-of-the-oven pretzel and tasty lemonade (I love the crunchy airy ice too)!

I came here for the free pretzel day offer which was one free original pretzel. The staff said they didn't have any ready because it's been a big day and it'll be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. I asked if she could make a jalapeño cheese pretzel, but she said since it's free pretzel day, they weren't making any specialty pretzels and all we had available are the original ones. We walked around for a bit and ended up coming back to get one which I felt was a little bit less fresh than they usually are but still pretty good.

I live maybe 1.5 miles away, so I just wanted to order online and not have to pay a service to deliver that to me...that didn't seem to be an option. So, I drive there and the hostess / only waitress tonight (who was actually very nice) said "oh, you could have just called in and we can take the order on the phone" (well, that would have been nice to list on the website, but whatever. Then, I placed my order (for only 2 people). Personal pizza, chicken ceasar and tots. The other was a burger and tots. Now mind you, there were only 3 other tables with people eating in the entire place. She told me it would only take 15 minutes to get my food, so I go back to my car to wait, then at the 15 minute mark it wasn't done...not even close. I ended up waiting a total of 40 minutes for my food! Whenever I've been here before the food is decent, and sure...I expect to wait a little bit when it's busy, but I think the cooks were more concerned about getting out on time than cooking food! I hardly ever post reviews because I feel like it doesn't really matter anyway...but this was just too terrible of an experience to not share. The lighting is soft and the cafe had a welcoming atmosphere. I haven't been to a German specific cafe previously, so it was an interesting place to try.
