Came here for a quick pretzel craving and ended up never wanting Auntie Anne's again. Sure, it may not sound like a big deal to some people, but this was to me. We ordered half regular and half cinnamon sugar pretzel bites, so we had to wait for them to be made fresh and I appreciate that they made them fresh. I get that they take time to bake, but I wasn't warned that it would take over 15 minutes (I was running late for an appointment) They handed me a caramel sauce, and I guess I should've checked the expiration date while I sat there waiting for my nuggets, but I didn't. It wasn't until I went out of the mall, into my car, and almost out of the parking lot with a half empty caramel sauce when my boyfriend said "this is expired over a month ago." He didn't care but I was pissed, so I called the store to see what they would say about it and the girl who answered just said "oh...uhm well do you want to come back? We can give you another one?" After walking the circuit and tasting the usual mix and match of fast food affair, I always seem to leave room for these bad-boys, or is that girls? I luv a good soft pretzel, okay to be honest I luv even bad soft pretzels...well, this location seems to know what they are doing. Always staffed with what seems like half the local high school cheer leading squad, they follow the recipes and produce a decent pretzel. Sometimes they flake out and don't have things ready to go but are often able to make up time and fire these tasty twists of dough out with fashion. It's a chain and the only one in town working it's magic on this market. My only peeve about this place is the price for their version of the Slurpee (TM) AKA, Dutch Ice, cool, refreshing and who can't get a kick out of seeing your tongue turn blue after one of this sugary cool treats. I went here to redeem my birthday reward & I got the cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets in a cup. I love that option so much better as I feel it's less messy to eat. Plus, I love them in bite sizes! So yummy too! I had shared them with my baby brother & he pretty much ate most of mine, haha. Their soft pretzels are good & it's a nice, little space! I've loved these pretzels since I was a youngin getting dropped off at the mall to hang out. I still like them! They are a total bomb in the nutrition department so they are a once in awhile treat. The cheese dip that they sell is pretty atrocious as far as dips go but I still dip my pretzel in it. It's also kind of a lot to pay 59 cents for it on top of your pretzel. Oh well. I recently tried Auntie Anne's pretzel. I was disappointed with my garlic pretzel and cream cheese spread. The garlic powder they used was lightly flavored and too powdery, it got all over my clothes. The only option for cream cheese was 'light'. I was disappointed with that option also. The key is to get a pretzel right when it comes out of the oven, they are amazing. If you get them much later after they have been under the heat lamp, the quality quickly disappears. My favorite is the Jalepone, I love how they do not put the peppers in the pretzel , but lie them on top now. Just wish they added cheese topping to this like they do the pepperoni. Clean, friendly employees and quick service. I also like that they have a little bar that seats 3-4 people. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit and eat after you order. Since it's outside of the foot court you don't have too many seating options. One thing I didn't like was that they no longer have a choice in sizes for the pretzel nuggets. They got rid of the small. How annoying. It's a problem because if you give me a large I'm going to eat them all and that's too much! Also, really don't like the cheese this company has. It tastes a little like plastic and the ingredients are not pleasant to look at. These aren't problems specific to this location.... Still, I love those pretzel nuggets so I'll keep coming back. When she tore herself away long enough to help, she didn't listen to the entire order and cut me off mid sentence. There are two of these in the mall - one at the food court and one near the kids' play area after you exit Sears. We visited both on two separate trips, in need of carbohydrate reinforcement to continue our shopping marathon. The employee interaction was fine and they were quick and got the order right, the price is not bad, and the pretzels are pretty good. I prefer the sour cream and onion one to the garlic, and be warned the garlic one will throw powder everywhere so eat with caution. The flavored lemonades are also pretty good. read more

Came into Auntie Anne's in the food court area and ordered a pretzel with nacho cheese sauce. Firstly I just want to say Thank You for adding nacho cheese!! I wrote on Auntie Anne's Facebook page a few years ago about the nacho cheese sauce being the only element missing. It was to my utmost delight that Auntie Anne's now carries the sauce. The pretzel was fresh from the oven and super buttery and delish. The new addition of the sauce compliments the pretzels so much and it truly was a mouthful of buttery spicy goodness! read more

Very disappointed. Used a retail me not coupon as advertised in the mall for BOGO. They couldn't figure out how to ring up the coupon so the just didn't ring it up. The plain pretzel was burnt, when I pointed it out the person behind the counter blamed it on the "Teflon." The replacement was also burnt, so we left it behind. Had a similar experience in April. Pretzels are good but expensive and I was really put out by customer service today. $6 for a cup of pretzel bites and an ice water. My son stood in line for a water refill and when it was his turn was told there were too many people in line and that he could't have a refill on water. Saddened that our weekly trip to Alderwood Mall for the pretzel special has been tainted. I buy large amounts of these pretzels to share with family members. Last week I ordered 12 special pretzels. My relative after tried to order 6. She was told they had no more. After my 15 minute wait I picked up my order only to be told that I could only get 10. I had to get refunded. Funny they seemed to be preparing more pretzel dogs and there were still some in the window. For some reason the employees working that evening gave the appearance of irritation. Not sure how the preparation and baking of pretzel dogs would cause this. One of them was very rude and seemed to openly mock my relative. Very unprofessional! Today I was told I could only buy 6. So I guess it will make a difference that I make 2 transactions instead of one. Maybe 2 debit card fees are better than one. Also, how is tax determined? Sometimes I get charged and sometimes not. I do applaud this company for being an equal opportunity employer which accounts for simple mistakes I experience. Can employees and management be a little better trained especially with customer service. I guess we will take a break from the mall and go to the playground at the park. Auntie Annes pretzels are loaded with fat, very greasy and unhealthy while pretzels are percieved as healthy treats these are made In pure butter fat. They are also very expensive as Is everything that they sell Including their shushy, so if you don't care about your health or your budget I highly recomment Auntie Annes LOL read more
