We were expecting a more casual, quick meal, but it felt closer to a fine dining wait. Hubby ordered the Cobb salad and enjoyed it. Daughter went with the Carnivore pizza with thin crust - you can choose thin or regular crust. I had the fish & chips--with tots instead of fries. Let me start at the beginning... I originally went to their website to order something to go, but the only to go options they had were Doordash and Uber Eats. I live maybe 1.5 miles away, so I just wanted to order online and not have to pay a service to deliver that to me...that didn't seem to be an option. So, I drive there and the hostess / only waitress tonight (who was actually very nice) said "oh, you could have just called in and we can take the order on the phone" (well, that would have been nice to list on the website, but whatever. Then, I placed my order (for only 2 people). Personal pizza, chicken ceasar and tots. The other was a burger and tots. Now mind you, there were only 3 other tables with people eating in the entire place. She told me it would only take 15 minutes to get my food, so I go back to my car to wait, then at the 15 minute mark it wasn't done...not even close. I ended up waiting a total of 40 minutes for my food! Whenever I've been here before the food is decent, and sure...I expect to wait a little bit when it's busy, but I think the cooks were more concerned about getting out on time than cooking food! I hardly ever post reviews because I feel like it doesn't really matter anyway...but this was just too terrible of an experience to not share. Came here a couple times with my buddy while waiting for our take order from nearby to be ready. Each visit when we sat at the counter we were served immediately. Both visits were Saturday evenings where it was busy, but it doesn't seem to slow down the staff here which is nice. They have a nice selection, mostly IPA's and Ale's but each visit the beers were good, the pours were good. Even though it can understandably get busy here in the summer, they have a fair amount of seating including at the counter, table seats, outdoor and side area with table seating. We've not been there to eat yet, maybe in a future visit to complement our beers. Diamond Knot is a solid brewery that has a fair number of beers to choose from and is sort of tucked into a mini mall making breaking from the many standalone breweries out there. read more

This place used to be one of my favorite brewpubs. While all brewpubs have pizzas, burgers and salads, this place used to serve steaks. Specifically, steak on a rock. Yep, used to have a 700 degree stone and you cook your own steak on that rock. Now this place is the same as other brewpubs. The ambiance is casual and service is very prompt. It is also always nice that the whole family since children are allowed. If you are after a typical bewpub menu and beer and cider this might be the place. read more

Having said all of that I would like to offer constructive feedback for a couple of things: PRICES: Prices have increased way too much over the past year or two. It's become unaffordable to eat here regularly. NO PAPER MENU: Everyone must scan a QR code to view the menu. They have no paper menus at all - and when asked about it, they don't seem open to changing this stance. There are valid security concerns with scanning QR codes. Just search the term "quishing" on YouTube and you'll learn all about how hackers use QR codes to steal your data (at restaurants and about anywhere else you find them). It's become a pretty popular form of scamming these days (and it doesn't take a genius hacker to figure out how to do it either. It's actually quite simple!). I would like to see Diamond Knot offer at least a handful of paper menus to reduce security risks for customers that are concerned about having their personal data hacked. read more

I've visited Diamond Knot in Mountlake Terrace several times and overall it's been a mixed but generally positive experience. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. Service is usually friendly, though in the evenings it can feel more business-focused and less personable. The food is decent but hit and miss, especially with temperature. I've received lukewarm or cold dishes even when the restaurant wasn't busy. The menu isn't very large, but their in-house beer is very good. The Knothead's Club membership also feels unclear. They offer a free Greenhorn tier with points and a paid Admiral tier with larger mug pours and discounts, but sign-ups were promoted for January-February and it's nearly March with no clear way to join. Staff haven't been able to provide answers. Overall, great beer and friendly staff, but consistency and communication could improve. read more

I've been to Diamond Knot a few times and enjoyed the things I've tried there, they have good beer, a fun atmosphere, and I've never had any service issues. This recent experience opened my eyes to something they have that is apparently very popular on the menu. Stepped in Friday night just for desserts. Our server was sweet and didn't give us any grief about that, although she did decline to bring the hot coffees two of us ordered to accompany the excellent smores doughnut holes. She reported the "coffee maker was turned off for the night," and offered us hot tea instead. Boy, you have to be careful with that kind of thing! Most of us have or currently work in restaurant kitchens, so we were all aware that commercial coffee machines which have hot water on demand for tea *also have hot water on demand for coffee*. We were pretty sure there was some other excuse, like they were descaling the pots well before closing to save time on closing chores, or perhaps just didn't feel like going to the work of making a fresh pot of coffee and pulling together cream/sugar/etc. That was irritating enough to downgrade from five stars to four, especially when coffee was needed to balance out the delightful (but intense!) sweetness of chocolate syrup and marshmallow drizzle and fried cake. The root beer and how it paired with ice cream on a root beer float was also excellent. Aside from the feelings about the coffee, our server was properly attentive and friendly. We'll be back to try dinner items and hope they'll be willing to do coffee next time. read more

Decided to give Diamond Knot another try and we had a much better experience, Dominique was excellent despite it being a very busy lunch rush. My wife and I sat in the dining area where we got a couple of beers, NW blonde for my wife and an Identity Crisis for me. My beer was a nice crisp refreshing drink, my wife got the House salad and Chowder and I went with the Chowder only. Our orders came quickly and this time we got little fish cheddar cheese crackers which was fine they didn't dominate the chowders flavor. It's nice to know that Diamond Knot's waitstaff is back on point for a nice quick lunch the menu has a nice variety and can't forget they serve breakfast too! We'll be back! read more

Nice selection of beverages (4/5 stars), and they have good food too (3.5/5 stars). I particularly enjoyed the pulled pork tater tots last time I was here. They generally have only one kind of cider, 6-8 different cocktails, 5-7 wines, and 10-30 beers on the menu. They charge $150 if you bring in outside food (eg, birthday cake) but they have a nice large room if you want to host a gathering of 20 to 70 people. I would recommend this brewery highly if you're looking to reserve a place to host a large event or meet up (without a reservation) for a small gathering. The biggest drawback is the service - I have been three times, and they generally are shortstaffed, so I expect a long wait to place my order, or get the check. read more

We had a pretty solid experience here for my friend's birthday tonight. Our server Jason was A+ which definitely stands out nowadays where good service is hard to find. The food came out promptly and the prices are a bit high but standard for the current reality of things. I ordered the Cuban which was more of an interpretation of a Cuban but it was pretty good. The pulled pork is very juicy and the sandwich was pretty balanced in flavor. My sweet potato fries & our shared for the table loaded tater tots were way overcooked / fries but that could have been a fluke. Our group seemed to enjoy their food and drinks as well. How I heard of this place: Meeting friends for brunch, they recommended the Diamond Knot over a more popular Seattle establishment due to its size and food selection. Type of cuisine: "Snohomish County's oldest continually operation brewery." While the focus, since 1947 has been on lager, the golden beer is hardly the tip of the iceberg. Pub food reigns supreme at the Diamond Knot. Nachos, tots, wings, fries, chili, fish & chips, pizza, burgers and more. Not to mention their amazing and mouth-watering brunch options. Ambiance: A family friendly pub, the spacious restaurant boasts a light-filled room of wooden tables, chairs, booths and outdoor picnic table/bench seating under a covered patio. The space is clean and well set up, allowing for large and small parties. What I ordered: The smallest in our group ordered the Kids Basic ($5.99) breakfast with hash browns, one egg, one slice of bacon and a lightly buttered English muffin. The next one up in age, chose one of their Signature Stuffed Spuds: Cheesy Bacon Stuffed ($13.99) with hardwood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar, and mozzarella cheese topped with sour cream and green onions stuffed between fresh hash browns, served with two eggs and an English muffin (toast). For me and my husband, we halved each of The Hangover Cure ($13.99) and Brewer's Scramble ($11.99). The Hangover Cure is a breakfast sandwich of golden-toasted brioche bread piled with smoked ham, hardwood smoked bacon, and a sausage patty, topped with two eggs and pepper cheese, finished with a drizzle of house-made sriracha aioli and a side of hash browns. The Brewer's Scramble is a crazy combination of three scrambled eggs tossed with sharp cheddar cheese, tater tots and diced English muffins then smothered in homemade country sausage and bacon. What I loved: The Signature Stuffed Spuds were certainly the star of our show on this visit. Every one of us wanted more tastes of that dish over the others. The Brewer's Scramble was more dry than anticipated and would have been yummier slathered in a house-made gravy. Why I loved it: The space is large and had no wait for seating. We stopped into Diamond Knot for lunch after a bit of shopping next door at Double DD Meats. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Masks are required. Vax cards are not required. This location offers a full bar for those who don't care for craft beer. Each location has a different vibe, with the Mukilteo location being my favorite. Food menu offers a little something for everyone. During our visit here, I seen several pizza pies delivered to tables. Must be tasty and I look forward to trying a pizza pie on my next visit. I tried a couple 20oz Flagstate and Isometric IPAs for $6.99 each. Isometric was the preferred of the two. My friend ordered a generously garnished Bloody Mary for under $10. My wife and I shared the Cali-Cajun Chicken Burger with Tots for $14.79. We also shared a House Salad for $5.59. Our server was friendly and competent.
