Can never complain about anti-Ann's pretzels. Our favorites are the original bite-size. Refreshing fruit drink was average.

My family and I stopped in for a quick treat while shopping. We purchased three small drinks and two pretzel nuggets, we weren't asked if we wanted a small or regular and instead were given regular. We had forgotten to ask about sizes, and we weren't asked which one we would like so it slipped our minds. When the price came out to $40 we realized it, and asked for the pretzel nuggets to be small. The employee at the register said it was fine and grumbled while another employee walked over and said very rudely that we would have to be refunded and charged a whole new order. We said that was fine. While we were being refunded my mom whispered to me in Spanish that $40 for the order was crazy, which frankly I agreed with. The employee says "It's standard, unless you specify it's small because we really don't have small." We pointed out that it says small on the menu and she said "Well you have to specify that, we can't read minds." My mother told her that was true but they could ask if we would've liked regular or small. The employee then said "Then you speak Spanish as if we can't understand you." First of all, we said absolutely nothing rude in regard to the employees in Spanish. Simply that the prices had gone up and it was ridiculous which if I was working at Auntie Anne's I could admit and agree with. The employee rolled her eyes at us and walked away before we were served the rest of our order. I regret not asking for her name because frankly she should be fired. As someone who works in customer service this is unacceptable. I could never treat a paying customer this way and expect to have a job the next day. I work at register often and I know how easy it is to refund orders and ask customers to specify their needs, this attitude was completely unnecessary. With the way the prices have gone up and the absolutely terrible customer service I doubt they'll be able to stay open. I would never recommend this location and I plan to call management. read more

Service was amazing today!!! I was helped by Adrian, Kina and Joselyn!!!! The pretzels were being made from scratch! Hot and fresh. Went today because they had a bogo offer for Auntie day. I don't normally come here, but was in the mood for a pretzel. I will NEVER be back. This location has the absolute worst service. The employees are so focused on their tip that they cannot stop telling us to make sure to tip them. After our pretzels were rung up, I scanned my bogo coupon and the employee removed the deal as we were about to pay. I noticed it and asked why it was removed and he mumbled something. Another employee said I had to say I was going to use a coupon before it's rung up to use the coupon. BS. after all that, they still told me to TIP them. I have ordered via the app for this location without any issues. They always have the pretzels ready by the time noted, or even a few minutes earlier. All in all it is usually a good and experience you would expect. The cashiers also have been able to process the rewards coupons without any hassles. It's in a center section of the mall. There isn't anywhere to eat inside, as it's laid out purely for ordering and carry out. However it's easy enough to find a place to sit and snack. Prices have sure gone up, so if you do order frequently recommend to sign up for their rewards program or buy one of the coupon packs when they are available! read more

This is a good Auntie Anne location and located in a prime and visible stretch in the north end of Old Orchard mall. It was 60F outside today and quite warm on the inside so I hope they're at least comfortable inside on the really cold days! The usual good AA pretzel products can be found here and the staffer on duty was pleasant. I should say up front, I have a thing for those mini pretzels dipped in cinnamon at Auntie Anne's, and the pretzels I treat myself almost weekly with from the Old Orchard location taste fine. What I found majorly disappointing and quite possibly illegal last week was their tipping policy. Like most of us I am far more aware of tipping more since covid. As a front line guy for most of my career I'm happy to tip more these days, but I generally ask how the tips are handled and divided. The same people usually help me there are great so I asked how much of my generous tips they would see and I was informed the manager, Trina, who pockets all the cash tips! Does that make any sense? The FT managers who get salary, benefits, and much higher pay, take every cash tip and don't give a penny of it. I'll not be tippjng there anymore! read more

Really confused by my experience. I went in today to grab a pretzel for a snack. I stepped up to the counter, said my order and the young man working behind the counter mumbled something to me. I asked him to restate what he said because he spoke softly and mummbled. He then loudly said, "did I give you good presentation?" I was totally confused as to what he was asking, as he presented noting to me. He just took my order. When I said "sure," he turned around a tip screen and asked me to fill it out. Then he walked away abruptly. I was wayyyy caught off guard. He "presented" nothing to me. All he did was take my order and punched in a computer. To low-key ask people for tips is an odd practice. Now don't get me wrong, I've been a waiter a bartender, a barista. In every single job I've had I have never once asked somebody how my service was so they would tip me. This guy did nothing for service aside from press something in a computer and then to ask how the presentation was? It was odd and uncomfortable. Ima sucker for AA's. It's pretty simple. Classic lemonade and an almond pretzel. Relatively pricey but worth it. This location gets packed very easily. Long wait times. Small space and max capacity is 5 at a time. Customer service is below subpar but the fresh pretzel makes up for it. They also don't skimp on the lemonade (not filling it all the way to the top.) On a cold Friday night with my daughter, we went to get a snack at. The cashier was extremely nice and accommodating. The woman made the best mini pretzel dogs ever. The manager of the store was the rudest server I have ever met in the food industry. He rolled his eyes at customers raised his voice whenever something wasn't going his way and mumbling/scoffing over things that didn't matter (ex: the lady in front of me asked for no ice in her lemonade, and he scoffed rolled his eyes and tried to look at me to validate his frustration.) in the end I simply left without purchasing anything because I didn't want to support a place that hired such a rude and disrespectful employee. I hate this place. I mean, I like the food so I keep trying to come here but they're never open. Today is Sunday so they're supposed to close at 6pm (I looked it up). I get there at 5:45 and the doors are locked and they're cleaning. They see me waving and open the door to tell me they're closed and I ask when they close. They tell me 7 (!) and I say "...but it's 5:45 ??" And they're like "yeah we're closing early today". This is 100% not the first time this happened in the last few months. The food was good but the service was awful. Walked in and there were 4 workers and 3 out of the 4 were joking around too much not to take an order. 2 of them were not wearing masks. When we were ready for them to take our order the lady behind the register (who was not wearing a mask) kept cutting me off and laughing over me while looking at me. It took a full minute to get my order to her and she didn't let me finish my order, just walked away mid sentence. This is a job, not a social club. I don't know what people think of businesses these days but this place is one who will throw away food because it was "stale." They were unscathed but the staff decided it's no good anymore and chucked it away. They did guarantee that they will make them fresh (I wanted to order the almond pretzel) in 10 minutes. Although I usually enjoy their almond pretzels- this particular location always manages to disappoint. On one occasion, the pretzel should not have even been called an almond pretzel because it had very little almonds in it. On a separate occasion-you could tell the pretzel was not freshly done because it was hard to bite on..since I was on a rush..I did not feel like going back in there and complaing.. only because my toddler daughter really likes them but otherwise I will do my best to avoid this particular location. read more

My son loves the icees and pretzels here. The pretzels are a great snack, hot and buttery. I think 7-11 does a better job with the icees. The problem I have here is that staff tends to have difficulty getting the order right. On numerous occasions, I've had to explain that "yes, I really want just an icee" and there has also been confusion over which icee I ordered. I think I may just order them by color in the future. My friends and I went to get 2 cups of pretzels, one cinnamon sugar and one salted. When buying the cinnamon sugar we noticed they were annoyed at each other and then one lady walked in telling them they got her order wrong, no apology they just said "well we must've heard wrong, and you got cinnamon sugar, if you want salted it's gonna take a while." then my friend ordered salted and they said to come back in 10 minutes, so we went shopping and set a timer for 10 minutes, came back and they were still not ready, when we asked we got 3 very rude ladies to answer nope not yet. so we went to sit outside on the tables and chairs and waited 10 more minutes, after that I went back in to ask and they still said nope not ready and we need to wait so I went back outside and waited another 10 minutes. Finally they were ready and they handed them to us with force talking back to each other and eye rolling and then when we went to ask for cheese, one lady said um that's gonna be extra... and I said well since we waited over 30 minutes i feel it should be complimentary and one lady responded you still have to pay seriously and then the manager said whatever just give it to her. then i was given a small cup of cheese that they had someone else get while they were delivered starbucks by friends and chit chatted on their phones. We came to Aunt Annies pretzels at Old Orchard Mall on Memorial Day 2019. Granted, it's a holiday so perhaps they didn't anticipate many customers, but to run out of almost all pretzels by noon??? All that was left were about 5 cinnamon pretzels. One older man was the ONLY person working. He said "I'm the only employee here today so I can't be in the back making them." Not only was he the only employee there, the entire time he took care of us he was having a full conversation about nothing to someone on his blue tooth. He was very distracted and scattered. We paid for our order and only gave us half of it then continued to talk on his blue tooth. I had to remind him he still owed us the rest of our order! Our pretzels were delicious which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 but the service was poor and only having one flavor of pretzel available was disappointing to say the least. Management should always schedule at least two people behind the counter or have a back up plan if someone calls in sick. read more

Went into this store around 12:35pm on 10/10/16 to satisfy a craving as we walked by. We walked into the store and was greeted immediately by the girl at the counter. We did not get her name, but boy did she do an amazing job today. There were hardly any options pre-made in the display, so we asked for a custom order. She gladly took that order and informed us of the wait time, which was fine; I love fresh food. We overheard the girl explain to another customer that she was the only one working at the time and someone didn't show up or was running late. As it always does in the service industry: when you're down a worker, customers come in droves. People continued to file into this small space and ordered elaborate creations. She was strong and determined to get everything correct. Although some customers were visibly distraught and possibly annoyed at the wait times, she kept a smile on and continued to produce spectacular products. After waiting for our fresh snacks, we discover how even better their pretzels were when fresh out the oven. Despite her working extremely hard and possibly overwhelmed, her dedication and thoroughness with the orders earned my utmost respect. This girl deserves a huge recognition for coming through in what seemed like a very stressful time. Hopefully she can read this and realize even if it was grueling work at that moment, she made our experience worth every second. Keep up the great work! read more
