In the area at the time after finishing training at my job, I visited this Chick-fil-A because it is one of the convenient fast-food options in the area, plus I was in the mood for some waffle potato fries. I ordered the waffle fries along with a peppermint chip milkshake which the shake was recommended by Lisa P, a credible yelper out of Chicago Illinois who I am connected with. And I waited for it in an acceptable time frame via my drive thru ordering experience. The waffle potato fries did not disappoint as I knew they would not; they tasted so well with the barbecue sauce I ordered them with. Now as for the peppermint chip milkshake, I just could not wait to taste it being that I love anything mint or peppermint. After my first sip, I was deeply pleased with how good it tasted. I highly recommend it, but one thing! It is a seasonal milk shake that is on the menu late fall throughout the winter; I believe November-January. With Chick-fil-A being one of the more convenient fast-food options in this part of Niles, I would definitely re-visit if in the area and I get the slightest craving for some of those waffle potato fries that Chick-fil-A is known for. The sandwich and fries I got today were well cooked and quick! Its a simple menu, but always tasty. I have only been to a couple other locations, but this one is the best in my opinion. I know that corporate wise, Chick Fil A is a bit closed minded, but remember that each location is run by individuals within the community. This location is full of happy and super nice people. Because the one by Old Orchard was always busy and their two lane drive thru was always full of drivers in the queue - it was almost like they were in line for Costco gas. But! This place is starting to get as busy, wow, that was quick. They are providing OJT (on the job training) to their folks, so let's all be patient. One gentleman asked me, "How are you all today?" I said fine, I'll take a bunch of your sauces - I like variety. The food was great, it's consistently awesome. The customer service is on par with some airlines - not Singaporean airlines though. This is my second time coming to this location and overall trying Chick-Fil-A. I got the chicken tenders and my wife got the chicken nuggets. The nuggets were okay. The breading tasted a little too sweet for our taste. The fries are the best! I tried all their sauces and the top two are the chick-fil-a sauce and ranch. They provide free refills, which is a bonus. You do have to ask for ketchup. They are really really fast! I went to go get the straws and napkins, and while walking towards my table the server was dropping off our food! Amazing! The first time we just waiting a couple of minutes. There was a long line too but they cashiers are quick and really polite. Also, we ordered mac and cheese with is really good for a fast food restaurant. I honestly haven't stepped in to the actual dining area, due to COVID-19, nor since it opened recently. But I can tell you that I've been pretty much coming here on a weekly basis to do curbside pickup. With many restaurant and venues trying to figure out how to adapt to the whole social distancing and such, it has been hit-or-miss and no consistency amongst the fastfood chains, or at least that was my observation. With Chick-Fil-A, I've been to two different locations, and their curbside pickup procedures are pretty similar. Why is that a big deal? Because amongst a global pandemic and uncertain times, we are all already have high anxiety, and trying to figure out how to get some nom-noms, where the process of getting said nom-noms is different for various locations, we don't need any more anxiety. Download the Chick-Fil-A app, do a mobile order, and once you're there, find an empty stall with a number next to it, and click "I'm Here" in the app, and specify the stall number. That's it. I've seen the pickup process evolve from just mentioning what color your vehicle is, to now the make/model/color and now stall #. All these changes are for the better. Way to adapt yo. Once your food is ready, you'll get a notification from the app, and within a few minutes, a Chick-Fil-A employee will come outside, confirm your name to the order, and you're done. Foodwise, this Chick-Fil-A is pretty much what you'd expect. Food is hot, waffle fries are the bomb, and overall it was delicious. And Chick-Fil-A sandwich is better than Popeye's Chicken sandwich. FINALLY a chick fil a that is close by! Recently opened, the lines, both drive thru and dine in are long, so don't be surprised! Like most, the service here is on point, which is crazy, because most of the workers are young- probably in high school. Shows the culture and leadership that is established during training. Anyways I got the chick fil a deluxe entree with a superfood side. The healthier salad (also slight cheaper than the side salad) features kale and broccolini with raisins and a maple dressing (I couldn't remember the name). The superfood side is considerably smaller than the side salad. Also, there different cheeses to choose from for the deluxe, rather than the just American slice. Will say that it took a long time to get my order even though I ordered ahead of time online to pick up since this spot is SUPER busy. Expect a wait for your food since it's so busy all the time and the line is usually always long here. Try the waffle fries with Polynesian sauce, it's really the sauce that does it for me. YUM. I am beyond happy that this Chick-fil-a opened so close to where I always am, and it's so convenient for me. I came here last week for the first time on a weeknight and it was pretty busy, but so good. The workers were all high school kids, but all very nice, and because this location just opened, most were still learning about what to do, so service was a little slower, but understandable. The food was as good as any other location and it was a very clean and taken care of location, even for it being later in the evening. There is also a drive thru here with two separate lines! So helpful. If you've never had Chick-fil-a and you're trying it for the first time, definitely try the spicy chicken club with waffle fries. Always my go-to and soooooo fricken good. I was a regular customer up until a couple nights ago. I went in to order my kids food and a hot water for my tea to go as I usually do at this location, but this time I had a manager named Valeria tell me that she can not give me hot water, so I asked why and stated that I get hot water almost every night from there. She said that she didn't know what I was going to do with the water and that she can't give it to me. I asked her what she thought that I was going to do with the water besides make tea? She said she didn't know and couldn't give me the hot water.
