My Niece and nephew really liked the food and the shakes. The staff was friendly and even came around to ask us if everything was ok.

    The Market salad. So delicious!

I'm so happy that this location opened because it's a bit closer to our house than the one by Old Orchard, and this drive thru is larger for quicker in and out! I come here regularly for the yogurt parfait (LOVE IT!!) but I also love the Market salad...and when you have a teenager that's hooked in Chick-fil-A, convenient locations with a good rewards program keep us coming back!

I'm very happy about this location opening. Because the one by Old Orchard was always busy and their two lane drive thru was always full of drivers in the queue - it was almost like they were in line for Costco gas. But! This place is starting to get as busy, wow, that was quick. They are providing OJT (on the job training) to their folks, so let's all be patient. One gentleman asked me, "How are you all today?" I said fine, I'll take a bunch of your sauces - I like variety. The food was great, it's consistently awesome. The customer service is on par with some airlines - not Singaporean airlines though. So please manage your expectations.

This is my second time coming to this location and overall trying Chick-Fil-A. I got the chicken tenders and my wife got the chicken nuggets. The nuggets were okay. The breading tasted a little too sweet for our taste. The fries are the best! I tried all their sauces and the top two are the chick-fil-a sauce and ranch. They provide free refills, which is a bonus. You do have to ask for ketchup. They are really really fast! I went to go get the straws and napkins, and while walking towards my table the server was dropping off our food! Amazing! The first time we just waiting a couple of minutes. There was a long line too but they cashiers are quick and really polite. Also, we ordered mac and cheese with is really good for a fast food restaurant. Lastly, I really recommend their loaded crispy spicy chicken sandwich, the BOMB!

FINALLY a chick fil a that is close by! Recently opened, the lines, both drive thru and dine in are long, so don't be surprised! Like most, the service here is on point, which is crazy, because most of the workers are young- probably in high school. Shows the culture and leadership that is established during training. Anyways I got the chick fil a deluxe entree with a superfood side. The healthier salad (also slight cheaper than the side salad) features kale and broccolini with raisins and a maple dressing (I couldn't remember the name). The superfood side is considerably smaller than the side salad. Also, there different cheeses to choose from for the deluxe, rather than the just American slice. Come here, expect the line, but don't be surprised by everything else! 9/10

So happy there is now a location even closer to home than the other Skokie location. Of course Chic Fil A is always a great spot to come for any meal of the day. Will say that it took a long time to get my order even though I ordered ahead of time online to pick up since this spot is SUPER busy. Expect a wait for your food since it's so busy all the time and the line is usually always long here. Try the waffle fries with Polynesian sauce, it's really the sauce that does it for me. I also tried the side kale salad and it was pretty good and a healthy side option, but my fav sandwich is the spicy chicken deluxe with buffalo sauce and Colby jack cheese. YUM.

My Carne Asada burrito dinner came out quickly. The burrito comes with beans, lettuce, tomato cheese, and sour cream. My favorite thing about the burrito was the protein, good flavor, and I love the little charred bits. The burrito is a nice size. The rice was good and so was the beans. I was in the area for a play and picked up a local friend. I went here because an acquaintance (who since died) gave me multiple gift cards to Portillos which I needed to use. I had 4 cards, not sure how much was left on them. We got $27 worth of food and I started handing the cashier the cards. She told me to scan them on the read light reader. Only one had a scannable bar code. She was not sure how to read the others. My friend suggested she swipe it on keyboard, she didn't seem to know this already. Card 1 red light scanned ok. Card 2 swiped ok. Card 3 she swiped and it didn't register, unclear if it worked. Card 4 brought the total to 0$. She wasn't going to give the last 2 cards back and asked for the other two. My tried to clarify that card 4 might have value left, she confidently said no. I was suspicious since the total couldn't have exactly matched my bill. The next day I looked at the receipt and it clearly said there was money left on the card, over 8$. It's unclear whether card 3 had money or she just didn't scan it. I'm presuming this was poor training but it has an element of malicious intent since she was so confident I had nothing left on the card and requested keeping all the cards. If you have gift cards beware going here unless staff are trained. Receipt attached for proof. If the business is reading this, can I cat my money back? Card 3 was for $10 value but not clear if it was touched or not.

Since then, I have off-and-on ordered from nearby restaurants yet with an interest in revisiting Dear Franks at some point. It was not until I recently discovered its veggie and plant-based items on the menu when I made it a high priority to visit, being that I am now a vegetarian. After attending training at my job which sits no more than a mile from Dear Franks, I made my visit. Its location sits along W Touhy Ave amongst a mixture of restaurants and shopping stores that are relevant to the community of Niles. I was acknowledged shortly after I walked in and up to the counter to look at the menu which was plastered above the counter. It took me some time to look at the menu because the menu online differed from the menu onsite above the counter. I had a taste for a veggie hot dog, but I did not see it featured on the menu above the counter, figuring that it was no longer an option at the time. So, I ended up ordering their veggie burger, fries, and a drink which was completed within several minutes. While paying, I could not help but notice Turano products near the register. Turano baking company, a family-owned bakery that produces authentic and delicious breads. I drive by Turano's daily enroute to my primary job and it is hard not to notice its building exterior, which has a commanding presence. Being that I have had the interest in visiting Turano's for some time now, I ended up purchasing a Turano - chocolate chunk cookie to go along with my veggie burger, fries, and drink. Maybe now after purchasing the chocolate chunk cookie, it will urge me to visit its location in Berwyn. I chose to dine-in at Dear Franks since I had plenty of time in my day, plus I figured that I still had time to beat the traffic on Edens Expressway enroute back to Chicago. The inside of Dear Franks appeared clean, and the atmosphere gave off a sporty vibe with pictures of Chicago sports teams, and iconic sporting moments in history of those teams featured. And there are a number of tables with seats available inside of the dining area, plus a television plastered on the wall near the entrance for viewing pleasure as you eat. The crinkle-cut fries were the first item I started off with eating. Though not as good as Portillo's crinkle-cut fries, ketchup certainly complimented them well. From that point on, I could not resist eating them all after the addition of ketchup. I moaned in enjoyment after my first bite of the veggie burger; it was garnished with everything I requested such as ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes! It was very satisfying indeed. Taking note of everything I experienced: service, ambiance, and food, I have to say that it was a good experience. And with that I would gladly re-visit Dear Franks of Niles again whenever in the Niles area. Service: 4 | Ambiance: 4 | Food: 5 ~Nourish your soul. ~ Thomas G

Some leeway is required. Damn Google search. I asked for submarine sandwiches suggestions on my homeward travel and this popped. The lamb leg comes in a tomato based stew with beans. I wasn't impressed with the leg, quite bland but the rice could have acted as a carrier for any other stew side or with a topping of shawarma, just as nice. The sandwich was mid. Bread dense. I might be missing something. I wonder now whether the breads are also Persian. Perhaps barbari or a thicker taftoon. If you enjoy Persian it could slap? Personally not impressed especially given the out of pocket around $50. Lack of details on menu items with additional pricing is somewhat aggravating. One and done.
