    Waffle fries
    Thomas G.

In the area at the time after finishing training at my job, I visited this Chick-fil-A because it is one of the convenient fast-food options in the area, plus I was in the mood for some waffle potato fries. I ordered the waffle fries along with a peppermint chip milkshake which the shake was recommended by Lisa P, a credible yelper out of Chicago Illinois who I am connected with. And I waited for it in an acceptable time frame via my drive thru ordering experience. The waffle potato fries did not disappoint as I knew they would not; they tasted so well with the barbecue sauce I ordered them with. Now as for the peppermint chip milkshake, I just could not wait to taste it being that I love anything mint or peppermint. After my first sip, I was deeply pleased with how good it tasted. I highly recommend it, but one thing! It is a seasonal milk shake that is on the menu late fall throughout the winter; I believe November-January. With Chick-fil-A being one of the more convenient fast-food options in this part of Niles, I would definitely re-visit if in the area and I get the slightest craving for some of those waffle potato fries that Chick-fil-A is known for. Atmosphere: 4 | Service: 5 | Food: 4 Recommendations: waffle potato fries, mac & cheese, greek yogurt parfait, kale crunch side, or side salad. ~ Oh darling, let's be adventurers ~ Thomas G

07/31/25 - Always a good delicious & healthy meal. Their Cobb salad is delicious w/chunks of chicken, & garlic avocado dressing. Great sandwiches too. Chick-fil-A is always a good option for a quick inexpensive healthy meal

My Niece and nephew really liked the food and the shakes. The staff was friendly and even came around to ask us if everything was ok.

    The Market salad. So delicious!

I'm so happy that this location opened because it's a bit closer to our house than the one by Old Orchard, and this drive thru is larger for quicker in and out! I come here regularly for the yogurt parfait (LOVE IT!!) but I also love the Market salad...and when you have a teenager that's hooked in Chick-fil-A, convenient locations with a good rewards program keep us coming back!

I'm very happy about this location opening. Because the one by Old Orchard was always busy and their two lane drive thru was always full of drivers in the queue - it was almost like they were in line for Costco gas. But! This place is starting to get as busy, wow, that was quick. They are providing OJT (on the job training) to their folks, so let's all be patient. One gentleman asked me, "How are you all today?" I said fine, I'll take a bunch of your sauces - I like variety. The food was great, it's consistently awesome. The customer service is on par with some airlines - not Singaporean airlines though. So please manage your expectations.

This is my second time coming to this location and overall trying Chick-Fil-A. I got the chicken tenders and my wife got the chicken nuggets. The nuggets were okay. The breading tasted a little too sweet for our taste. The fries are the best! I tried all their sauces and the top two are the chick-fil-a sauce and ranch. They provide free refills, which is a bonus. You do have to ask for ketchup. They are really really fast! I went to go get the straws and napkins, and while walking towards my table the server was dropping off our food! Amazing! The first time we just waiting a couple of minutes. There was a long line too but they cashiers are quick and really polite. Also, we ordered mac and cheese with is really good for a fast food restaurant. Lastly, I really recommend their loaded crispy spicy chicken sandwich, the BOMB!

FINALLY a chick fil a that is close by! Recently opened, the lines, both drive thru and dine in are long, so don't be surprised! Like most, the service here is on point, which is crazy, because most of the workers are young- probably in high school. Shows the culture and leadership that is established during training. Anyways I got the chick fil a deluxe entree with a superfood side. The healthier salad (also slight cheaper than the side salad) features kale and broccolini with raisins and a maple dressing (I couldn't remember the name). The superfood side is considerably smaller than the side salad. Also, there different cheeses to choose from for the deluxe, rather than the just American slice. Come here, expect the line, but don't be surprised by everything else! 9/10

So happy there is now a location even closer to home than the other Skokie location. Of course Chic Fil A is always a great spot to come for any meal of the day. Will say that it took a long time to get my order even though I ordered ahead of time online to pick up since this spot is SUPER busy. Expect a wait for your food since it's so busy all the time and the line is usually always long here. Try the waffle fries with Polynesian sauce, it's really the sauce that does it for me. I also tried the side kale salad and it was pretty good and a healthy side option, but my fav sandwich is the spicy chicken deluxe with buffalo sauce and Colby jack cheese. YUM.

In the meantime, I ordered a Hot Chick (medium heat), with a side of fries, some extra pickles, and the garlic sauce to make my Slavic heart happy. The food came out fresh from the bubbling oil, it could be handled without burns, but clearly spent no time under a lamp. Both the chicken and the fries were fried to a delectable crunch. No twice-fried-as-an-excuse here, genuinely well done. My only note is that it feels as though the fries and chicken *may* have spent an extra 15 seconds in the fryer. While the innards were tender, it felt as though a tinge of moisture was sacrificed without need. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and other than the usual delight of dipping them into everything on the plate, they were perfect as they were. Fantastic amount too, not the starch overload of Five Guys, but not a skimpy serving either. The chicken sandwich was the real star. The medium contained some proper spice without having smoke come out the ears. It was well sauced, and had a great hit of acid from the pickles. Out of left field came the slaw: I was not expecting to like this to the point of almost leaving it out. However, it was fresh, felt homemade, and wasn't a mayonnaise bomb. Would order the again without complaints or reservations. I also had a chance to try their house-made lemonade. I appreciate that they use zero-calorie sweetener to cut down on sugars. However, it came out too sweet for my liking. It would be helpful to have options of level and type of sweet. Final notes: The server behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable time frame considering how fresh everything was. Final verdict: A case where I say it's a good thing Nash Bros is a little bit of a hike, otherwise I might visit too much for my health. Barring some minor notes, everything was scrumptious, and I'd happily order it all again (and likely will!)

Only downside was the service. The clerk told us to use the kiosk right away with no greeting, which felt a little cold. The sandwich was $13 and worth it, but it would've been nice if fries were included. I guess that's just how it is now. Good food overall, just not the best service!

We were seated promptly. We took our time in deciding a I could not decide between getting wings or 1/2 fried chicken. Finally, I decided to go with 1/2 fried chicken (8 pieces) since I hadn't had it before. The small order of wings also comes with eight pieces and is a couple of dollars less than the 1/2 fried chicken. The food was freshly prepared. The chicken was hot when it came out. My wife got a lunch special of 8 pieces boneless wings in honey garlic sauce which came with fries and a soft drink. I got my 1/2 fried chicken in Spicy Galbi sauce. My chicken was very flavorful. The sauce had a nice taste. It was a bit sweet, a bit savory, and a light kick of heat. One thing different with having this 1/2 fried chicken from the wings I had at a different bb.q Chicken was that the 1/2 fried chicken pieces were not as meaty as the wings. The boneless wings flavor was good as well. The food hit the spot. The service was satisfactory. Next time, I'll go back to having wings.
