The nuggets were perfectly sweet and a generous portion. The icing was delish too! Also ordered the pretzel dog with cheese and bacon. I would not order this again, but I would try one of the stuffed sandwiches. The outside layer of pretzel dog was great and you get two dogs that are large enough to share. The inside was doughy in spots and the bacon was the mushy shelf stable type. We ordered with light salt but the entire combination was entirely too salty. If you don't like overly salty, consider ordering without salt. Also not a big fan of the cheese sauce. Tastes like canned nacho cheese to me. We'll give it another try and stop by to order next time. I think there are more options in store than thru DD?

We decided to order a bunch of options to cut up and share (a method I recommend!). We tried The Royal, The King, The Endangered and The Cheesy Galapagos, and for dessert we opted for the Apple Pie and Cinnamon Sugar Nuggets. Everything was tasty, and I'm glad I got to try a few things, but my favorite was hands-down The Royal - a surprise since I usually gravitate toward chicken. The Cinnamon Sugar Nuggets were also a big hit with the group. Now that I've tried the standards, I'd love to go back when they have specials (their Instagram account showed a turkey and cranberry stuffed pretzel around Thanksgiving that looked delicious!).

The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

The courtyard is beautiful, and the live music really added to the atmosphere--a solo musician playing oldies that our whole group enjoyed. The restaurant serves beer and wine only, and the menu had so many appealing options that narrowing down a choice was genuinely difficult. They dropped off a pitcher of ice water for the table right away, which was appreciated, though the ice melted quickly. My iced tea also arrived with very little ice. Not really a complaint, just something I noticed. The deviled eggs arrived with a fun DIY presentation that felt a little kitschy but looked fantastic. I didn't try them myself, but the plate was completely cleaned by the table within minutes. The lobster bisque was creamy and flavorful, though I wish it had been served hotter. Service was friendly and hospitable throughout the evening, but the timing of the food was a little inconsistent. My side Caesar salad arrived before the appetizers, which meant I was eating well before the rest of the table. The wedge salad was an interesting take, served with bacon jam on the side, though it felt lightly dressed compared to the Caesar, which was absolutely loaded with dressing. Delicious, but definitely rich. I ordered the Nashville hot tenders and found them just okay, but honestly, everyone else's food looked great and there were a lot of dishes I'd be interested in trying on a return visit. Overall, the atmosphere, live music, spacious setting, and friendly service made for a very enjoyable evening. A few execution and timing issues kept it from being a perfect experience, but I'd absolutely come back to explore more of the menu.

The food all looks SO good but I was on a budget and there for a party so DRANKS! I love that a beer focused place also has a lot of delicious mixed drinks. I had the key lime pie martini and a white sangria. Both were AMAZING. I'm not usually a martini girl but this one was vodka based which I will always take over gin and it was a lovely sweet and sour flavor. And you can't go wrong with a good white sangria. The guava mojito is calling me back! The bar workers were awesome and SO fast considering the big crowd. We were also there for surprise trivia night and decided to participate and we had an amazing time. I already asked my other friend group if we can go sometime so obviously I had fun!

The loaded tots come in a hearty portion with bacon bites, cheese, sour cream, and jalapeño. The toppings really do make each bite flavorful, with a different combination in every bite. The sauce with the cheese curds carries a spicy punch, and the cheese curds themselves are a bit on the salty side, but I really enjoy the chewy texture. There's always a good menu of brews on tap. This time I tried the Cream Warrior, and I liked it a lot. It's light and comes with a cream soda/Yakult aftertaste, and as an Asian kid, I loved it. The place gets really popular for trivia night, with a happy, communal vibe. The staff are always friendly. One thing I especially love is the TVs at the bar: there's almost always two on sports, one on a game show channel, and the highlight is the TV in the corner tuned into a Too Cute channel featuring kittens and puppies.
