Visited on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait despite the huge dining space. The courtyard is beautiful, and the live music really added to the atmosphere--a solo musician playing oldies that our whole group enjoyed. The restaurant serves beer and wine only, and the menu had so many appealing options that narrowing down a choice was genuinely difficult. They dropped off a pitcher of ice water for the table right away, which was appreciated, though the ice melted quickly. My iced tea also arrived with very little ice. Not really a complaint, just something I noticed. The deviled eggs arrived with a fun DIY presentation that felt a little kitschy but looked fantastic. I didn't try them myself, but the plate was completely cleaned by the table within minutes. The lobster bisque was creamy and flavorful, though I wish it had been served hotter. Service was friendly and hospitable throughout the evening, but the timing of the food was a little inconsistent. My side Caesar salad arrived before the appetizers, which meant I was eating well before the rest of the table. The wedge salad was an interesting take, served with bacon jam on the side, though it felt lightly dressed compared to the Caesar, which was absolutely loaded with dressing. Delicious, but definitely rich. I ordered the Nashville hot tenders and found them just okay, but honestly, everyone else's food looked great and there were a lot of dishes I'd be interested in trying on a return visit. I've been meaning to leave this review for Yuengling Brewhouse in Tampa. We were in Tampa for my daughter's cheer competition at USF, and once I found out there was a Yuengling brewery right around the corner from our hotel, I had to check it out. I actually ended up going twice in one day. Overall, it was a great spot and the beer was really good. The place itself is cool, and it was definitely a fun atmosphere. We just happened to go on a crazy day with cheerleaders in town, a kids festival, and a car show all happening, so there was a lot going on. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the kitchen was a mess. And I don't just mean when it was packed. Even at lunch when there weren't a ton of people eating, it still took forever for the food to come out. Honestly, if everything else wasn't good, the kitchen slowness probably would have dropped this to a 2 or 3-star review. That said, the beer was great and I liked the overall place enough that I would definitely revisit. They just really need to get the kitchen timing figured out. read more

Fantastic stop in Yuengling for lunch. Absolutely gigantic restaurant space for a large or small group. They also do tours. And have various events like Tricia night and markets. The staff is super friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations. The garlic cheese curds were incredible. They're served with a smoked ragu sauce as well, very Smokey. They had had a market and events that were wrapping up when we arrived. Inside is spacious- we were sat right away. They have a merchandise store and a huge outdoor area with tables, fire pits, play areas and more. Inside, our server was great- we ordered fairly quickly and I took Riley outside for a bit while we waited on food. Outside I was stunned at how dirty it was, how much trash was on the ground, tables, chairs. I hope it was because of the earlier events, but I have no idea. Yuengling Brewery Tampa is a great spot, especially if you're going with a group. The venue itself is beautiful; huge, open, and very spacious, which makes it easy to hang out without feeling crowded. The food was really good overall, but definitely on the heavier side. The beer cheese dip was delicious, and the deviled eggs were amazing! I tried the Cuban, which had good flavor, but it was extremely heavy and pretty salty, so keep that in mind. I did appreciate that they offer brown rice as an option, but I'd love to see a few lighter, healthier menu choices added in the future. As expected, the beer is solid and enjoyable. I had dinner here with a party of 20. I know that is a lot, but we had a reservation far in advance. We were sat at a huge long table with plenty of room. We were surprised that we were only assigned one server though. Orders were taken pretty quickly, drink orders immediately followed by food on the server's tablet. Drinks arrived a few minutes later which is about where it started going downhill. Multiple people ordered appetizers but entrees started showing up first. Several people had finished eating by the time the last people got food. Several appetizers never came out. People were served soup with no spoons. Short ribs were presented as meatloaf and then given to the wrong person, leaving someone without food while it was remade. I ordered the small Caesar salad and the grouper nuggets. I received the salad and waited and waited and waited for the grouper nuggets until every other person had their food. They did finally come after I asked the server and waited some more. They were hot and tasty although a bit salty, but by that time, I had eaten most of my salad and bits of other people's food so I left a lot behind. Portions were large, food was good but a bit expensive, and service was friendly, however I would hesitate to return based on this experience. read more

Yuengling brewery and draft haus in North Tampa, adjacent the University of South Florida (USF) and Busch Gardens is a hidden gem. What a nice establishment in a not so nice neighborhood. I've been coming to this area for years. I've never knew this brewery was here. I stopped in yesterday afternoon for lunch, had two delicious premium's, and the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Everything was great. The place is big, clean and looks brand new. The bartender was very personable. Explained the whole menu and even made recommendations on beers. Although I sat inside, there was a very large courtyard area with an outdoor bar that looks wonderful for an early evening outing. The menu was typical pub food, with a nice German slant. As long as I continue to visit USF I think I'll make this one of my stops. read more

The Yuengling Draft Haus and Kitchen in Tampa is a great place for quality food, great beer and an all around entertaining night out. Our visit to the brewery was planned around the night market. An evening gathering of local vendors selling homemade goods. We arrived to a bustling brewery a little after 5pm. This place is huge. Yuengling is a fantastic beer. Their traditional lager is a long-time go-to for me. The fact that this place is in my backyard is quite fortunate and I'm not sure why I have not been here yet. We were seated immediately. The dining area had the brewery feel. A space that seems both unfinished and half-decorated. Tables spaced out in an open area surrounded a large wooden bar that was flooded with natural light from large windows looking out to a courtyard type area. Our server was around quickly and got us started on drinks. I ordered a 9 beer flight. This had 5 ounce samples of every beer from their traditional lager to the Yuengling premium, a beer you can only get here or in PA. For food, we started off with the Yuengling soft pretzel. My wife ordered the traditional Caesar salad and I ordered "Yuengs and wings". The salad was $15 and the 6 wings were $13. Our daughter got the kids burger for $10. We sat and sipped our beers. The pretzel was interesting. I like to consider myself a pretzel afficionado. (I make my own traditional German pretzels at home). This pretzel is shaped like the "Y" in Yuengling and was lightly salted. The pretzel, however, was thin and dense, not light and airy with the traditional crust. We chalked this up to the design of the dough, focusing more on the presentation than the taste. Our mains were decent though. My wings were sauced well in garlic parmesan that had a Pilsner beer base. Crispy and filling, they had plenty of meat on them and were something I'd order again. My wife enjoyed her salad but it didn't leave a lasting impression. It was basic. The kid's burger was as expected and came with a side of green beans that could have fed the entire table. After enjoying our meal and polishing off the beers (I finished all 9 samples with ease) we walked it off at the night market. We'd go back here and I'd suggest you check it out too. read more

This was our second visit here & glad we tried it again. It was a Friday afternoon and we sat at the bar. They have a wide selection of beers and it's hard to select even 4 for the flight--all were delicious. Our bartender wasn't super attentive but he did have half of the large bar to cover. Thankfully the management stepped in twice to make sure we had what we needed (plates, silverware, & waters) & ask how everything was--that touch was helpful & appreciated. The caprese flatbread was delicious. It's a beautiful location, glass doors to the outside open, and large fans to keep cool. There are some dart boards, video games & a pool table upfront along with a large gift shop & package store but unfortunately they weren't selling their delicious pumpkin beer to bring home. read more

The beer is cheap (as I would expect since it's coming from the source!) we opted for the tasting that included 1 of every beer on the menu. That was fun! Service was great and the food was really good! This beat my expectations and was just a fun time to hangout, taste all the beers and eat delicious food. It came out quick! The space itself is great for hosting parties and get togethers if you have a group. There is a large outdoor space as well, with a turf area that had some yard games. Had to wait 20minutes to get seated although you could see that there were probably 15 tables open, it seems the policy is not to seat people until a server is available. Both me and my wife had the pork sandwich and it was overcooked and dry and tasted awful, definitely the worst pork I've ever had. Others in the group had the smash burgers, orders were wrong and patties were overcooked and dry. One person had the tomato soup and remarked that it tasted like warmed up marinara sauce. All tables are spread far apart and the bar is huge. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating along with a large outdoor area to mingle and play. We sat at the bar and each ordered a glass of beer. The bartenders were all friendly and attentive. The menu offers something for everyone. Each item is followed by the beer they suggest to pair with that meal. All of the food that I saw come out looked very good. I ordered a cheeseburger (their signature handheld item) and Mac and beer cheese. The cheeseburger was great but the Mac and cheese was even better. I also ordered the "full flight," which is a sampling of each of their beers for $15. If you want the full experience be sure to ask for the limited release beers which they told me was only $2 more for those 2 beers. If you're a craft beer connoisseur, you're not going to be impressed with the beers. You may however, be surprised that Yeungling offers 11 different beers at a time. Overall, this location offers a fun, new, clean atmosphere with excellent food and a variety of beer. I am eager to return to try more of the menu. read more

Yuengling has such a beautiful property. It's huge! Large enough that I attended the Saigon Night Market on the outdoor property. There were over 100+ vendors there with live music and entertainment for everyone. There was also ample parking. I didn't try the food because there were plenty vendors at the festival but I will be back to try the menu items. read more

We took a friend for lunch and beers and tried a few new options we haven't tried before like the Bonzo Fizz which is fruity and light. We had some appetizers: pierogis and beer cheese fries. Both were good but ALOT of beer cheese. I ordered the traditional brat and the brat was really small in comparison to the bun. It was good but small and I would ask for no beer cheese as if drowned out the sauerkraut and mustard. The service was good as well as the food. Also have a cute gift shop nearby. Beer is 5 star Service was 4 star Food was 3 star (One thing I did not like but has no effect on food and service; was the bathroom situation. There are individual toilets that are for both men and women. I tried 4 bathrooms before I found one that was half way clean and acceptable. Women do not like sharing toilets with men, especially in a sports bar where most men don't have good aim after a few beers. Kind of felt like it wanted to be a gumbo dish with all the sausages. The key lime pie was pretty good as well but nothing that was like OMG i can't wait to get that again. The scampi was the real winner. The night we came in happened to be a Saigon market going on. Which was great for my kids since they could find all the boba spots as their dessert. So when my kids and I walked around we noticed our server was out walking the patio as well which I thought was kind of interesting. So when we had wanted to order more things after our friends paid for our dinner. We didn't get a chance to order a dessert with her.
