One thing I enjoy when I'm here is the happy hour deal. $5 for loaded tots, cheese curds, or wings, all great food options. My go-tos are the loaded tots and the cheese curds. The loaded tots come in a hearty portion with bacon bites, cheese, sour cream, and jalapeño. The toppings really do make each bite flavorful, with a different combination in every bite. The sauce with the cheese curds carries a spicy punch, and the cheese curds themselves are a bit on the salty side, but I really enjoy the chewy texture. There's always a good menu of brews on tap. This time I tried the Cream Warrior, and I liked it a lot. It's light and comes with a cream soda/Yakult aftertaste, and as an Asian kid, I loved it. The place gets really popular for trivia night, with a happy, communal vibe. The staff are always friendly. One thing I especially love is the TVs at the bar: there's almost always two on sports, one on a game show channel, and the highlight is the TV in the corner tuned into a Too Cute channel featuring kittens and puppies. read more

I was really sad when Florida Avenue Brewing had to leave....Florida Avenue. I'm so glad they're back, even as a small location. The food all looks SO good but I was on a budget and there for a party so DRANKS! I love that a beer focused place also has a lot of delicious mixed drinks. I had the key lime pie martini and a white sangria. Both were AMAZING. I'm not usually a martini girl but this one was vodka based which I will always take over gin and it was a lovely sweet and sour flavor. And you can't go wrong with a good white sangria. The guava mojito is calling me back! The bar workers were awesome and SO fast considering the big crowd. We were also there for surprise trivia night and decided to participate and we had an amazing time. I already asked my other friend group if we can go sometime so obviously I had fun! read more

Stopped in to Fl Ave during my bachelorette party and had a great time! The staff were wonderful, especially after being bombarded by 20 women! I loved that they had cocktails and beer, that way the people in our group that don't drink beer had something else to drink. We ordered food and everything was delicious and came out super fast! Great little spot for a bevvie and meal! Thank you! read more

I love Florida Ave, and I'm so happy that they opened a Heights location after a brief hiatus from the area. They are a great place for a drink and food. I always have excellent service, I usually don't have a problem finding a spot. The themed trivia nights are a blast, which are the only ones that I typically go to, but they do get pretty busy. read more

We loved our visit here! The Liquid Garden had ample seating inside and outside. Fun signage for events (think trivia and a stop on the brewery tour bus) are posted throughout the location, so I def took notes so I can come back and check them out! I ordered a delicious patty melt and my guest ordered the Crunchwrap with chicken. Both were phenomenal, and I really enjoyed the Fritos as a surprise, tasty side. The bartender allowed me to try several small samples before selecting my beer. Both sours I tried were great, and I ultimately went with the Let Us Eat Cake beer. We had a great experience and are looking forward to returning! read more

Great drinks, great food, great service, and an awesome outdoor patio! I've been to this location several times for networking events but this was my first time actually visiting for dinner. We got a B-A-B veggie falafel bowl, which was delicious and much larger than I expected, but I would definitely pay the extra $1.50 to add rice next time I go. We also got the crispy onion tangler burger which is a popular item but it comes with fritos and tater tots is an extra $2.50 -- not a dealbreaker so we got them, but keep that in mind. The happy hour specials are unbeatable here and their Wesley Chapel location is a must-visit with an even larger menu and outdoor activities area. read more

The brewery tour is a must! For $12, you get an educational experience about how the beers are made and the history of Florida Ave Brewing, alongside a beer of your choice, a koozie, and a beer glass! We stayed after to enjoy some more brews and appetizers in the beer garden. The cheese curds are oh so good, crispy and hand battered. We also love the Buffalo cauliflower. The service is typically good. This time around we sat at a table where you can use a QR code to order or go up to the bar. The beer garden has just the right vibes, casual and inviting space for people to come together and relax. We have enjoyed many a night here, and especially love their annual Oktoberfest celebration! read more

Excellent brewery in the Seminole Heights area of Tampa. I was surprised by how delicious every beer I have tried is from Florida Avenue Brewing. What I love about this spot is also that there is ample parking, but you still have the small craft brewery vibes read more

Cute little brewery, we stopped in one afternoon to grab a couple of drinks and a bite. The service was great, we got recommendations and really felt taken care of. It was early afternoon and we had our baby and 7 year old with us, so I'd say it felt pretty family-friendly - which is nice for us parents who still want to live our lives without sticking our kiddos with babysitters to do it lol They have one of our favorite brews - we usually order it when we're out and about at other restaurants in Tampa too, it's called you're my boy blue - def recommend giving it a try. They also have flight tasting options which is nice, I always love a good flight to try out different options without having to order a whole glass of something I'm unsure I'll even enjoy. Their patty melt is also REALLY good - I love patty melts and this might be one of the best I've had in a while. They have inside and outside seating - pretty good amount, when we went it wasn't super busy so there were plenty of options. Can't wait to go back one weekend and enjoy the nice summer weather! read more

We enjoyed a beautiful May evening on the patio at Florida Avenue Brewing. The service was great, food piping hot, drinks cold & we were in good company. We dined on: -cheesesteak egg rolls meh, I'd skip next time. aside from the horseradish dipping sauce, the eggroll itself didn't really have much flavor with the meat, etc. It was literally just having a fried casing with hot meat inside. -naked wings with sauce on the side Our friend we were dining with is on the carnivore diet and raved about the wings. As individual lives solely on meat, so I'd take that as a big thumbs up. -elote queso It was really good! Flavorful, I'm not sure it's worth the price point, but it was good. -Nashville chicken sandwich My husband devoured the sandwich. I only managed a bite. It was pretty noteworthy, good textures, flavors. -smash burger Really excellent! Two patties smothered in all of the goodies, accompanied by a side of hand cut fries. I ate 1/2 of mine and can't wait to dig in for the other half today. This brewery is clean inside & out, well presented, offers a bar with a variety of drinks, has a full parking lot, clean bathrooms, and is on the Brew Bus Loop. Thank you for creating this location on Florida Avenue, Florida Avenue Brewing! read more

We were brew hopping in the area and because we have seen these beers available in our local target, we wanted to check it out. We arrived on a Sunday around 130-2pm in the afternoon and it was fairly quiet in the location. We were easily able to find two chairs at the bar. They do have food available, but it is limited. Their beer menu has multiple different offerings, but I found I especially liked some of their basic beers. My husband got the Old Star (helles). He said it was good - robust but not overly. I got a flight and it included Passion of the Heights, Dead Parrot, Rollin' Dirty, and Prague Rock. The Prague Rock is a pilsner. It wasn't my favorite. It had some bitter notes that were hitting my pallet. The Rollin' Dirty is a red ale, and definitely reminded me of a traditional Yuengling. It had a very smooth finish. The dead parrot is super light and has a lime zest finish. Perfect for a really hot day here in Florida. The passion of the Heights was delicious with notes of hibiscus, lemongrass, cinnamon and other notes. I will definitely be picking some up at my local target. We did appreciate how quiet this location was as several of the breweries that we had been to were loud, and it was nice to be able to just be in our thoughts for a moment. The service was also really great, at no time did we ever feel pressured or bothered by our bartender and or server . read more

Went on a Tuesday which is trivia night so it was busy. They have a good sized parking lot with free parking. Inside feels spacious even with all the trivia buffs. I had the mandato bbq wings which were tasty. Staff checked in often. Great casual hangout. read more

this Brewery appeared right when we needed it! The beer was good and the bartender was friendly. The food was also surprisingly good -the best was the salad! Honestly, the only negatives were not their fault. Crazy drivers on the road outside going the wrong way down a one way (which according to the bartender happens all the time--yikes). And there were some other patrons trying to pick a fight with another member of staff. It was lunchtime, and they had obviously started drinking a bit too early. read more

I'd say come here for beer or drinks and you'll be satisfied. We unfortunately got a burnt chicken sandwich we sent back. The French fries were good, but the cheese curds were super greasy. It was quite busy that day, and the waitress was super polite about the issue. Service was just overall slow due to it being a busier time. Beer overall is what they are known for and I'd recommend that out of it all - they also have trivia going during the day. read more

Pub pass led us here to redeem our free beer and we were not disappointed. My boyfriend, who is from New England, loved the New England IPA. The buffalo chicken wrap was perfectly spicy and crispy and served with the best homemade fries. Nashville hot chicken sandwich also hit the spot. Unique bar top and fun, friendly staff! Definitely a brewery to check out in Tampa! read more

Came here today since we tried and enjoyed their other location in Wesley Chapel. This location is a little smaller than Wesley Chapel but still has the Florida Avenue vibe. The happy hour here is from 3-7 and the beer are $5 each and they have some good food options to choose from as well. Overall a great place to stop for a beer and a snack. I will definitely be back. read more

Check their food prices before going so you don't get sticker shock. It's good, but overpriced for brew pub food. Also, I like the vibe of the Florida Ave location more than Wesley Chapel. read more

A breath of fresh air to Seminole heights this place has the guts to compete with the bigger brands in town. First of all, the beer selection is fantastic. I prefer the IPAs but they feature a little something for everyone. Additionally, real estate is at a premium in the heights sometimes limiting visitors to questionable street parking or walking, but FAB supplies its patrons with a large private lot. Granted, the beers are so good many an Uber or Lyft would be better. I came somewhat late night for the evening HH and found a very impressive HH menu which hit me right in the glutton top. I had the loaded fries and wings both of which were Super Bowl quality. The indoor seating is simple, but all the way up until closing the staff kept checking on us to make sure both are pints and our hearts were full. This is a must see on the brewery tour of Tampa Bay. read more

Nice clean place with friendly staff. Greeted at the door and handed menus upon grabbing a stool at the bar. We ordered food and had drink in less than a couple minutes. The staff was always mindful of ensuring we had what we needed. The steak and cheese with fries was a great choice from the on site food truck. Highly Recommended! read more

I've come here a handful of times. We just love it. The beers are delicious, and they're happy to give samples or advice. I had a blonde that was very flavorful, a sour which was very fruit-forward and smooth, and a rice beer that was SO interesting. All delicious. What I don't understand is how they make their Beyond Burgers so tasty. Just extra delicious. My wife gets a salad with beyond meat, and she's always in love with it. And the fried are to die for. Big, crispy, soft in the middle. Perfect. Add in a casual setting and really friendly, helpful staff, and my only question is why we don't come here more. read more

The cheese curds are fire. Dustin is phenomenal! Let's talk about the water. Nobody reviewed the water. This water is so filter so highly you could drink out of the toilet! I don't recommend but you could. It makes you feel like you're drinking out of a glacier! Come for the drinks but don't miss out on the water professionally distilled in the distillery. It is almost as if you're sipping from a pure source straight from the earths core. Ps Jeff was dressed to kill read more

Came here since we got the TPA Pub Pass. The building has an industrial vibe and invites you to come in and stay for a while. The seating was comfortable at the four top tables and at the bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. I started with their Rollin' Dirty red ale and followed it with Flying Coach brown ale. Both were so full flavored and refreshing. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon. read more

Dropped in for takeout. The fries were awesome. The smash-burger was super tasty. I'd say excellent if it wasn't for the stale bun. The chicken sandwich was thin, dried out and rubbery. One of the best places for a beer and chill out with friends. Bar food which means isn't that great.

We met friends that were in town there and had a really nice time. There is lots of seating and sections. There is a variety of beers to choose from. We highly recommend Florida Avenue Brewing. read more
