Sour Cream & Onion Pretzel
Jacques I.

It's been a hot minute since I've been to Auntie Anne's. I mean, like, since maybe high school? Which I won't even say how long ago that was. But let's just say it's the quintessential snack for when you're hangin' with your friends at the mall and you think your shit don't stink at 16. My boyfriend and I were doing some Christmas shopping at the outlet, and Auntie Anne's was one of the few eateries that you could easily get takeout at and was not located in the food court area. Just for ol' times sake, I decided to get a sour cream and onion pretzel, which was my jam back in the day. But some things just seem to change. And get more expensive, yeah? For about five bucks I ordered the sour cream and onion pretzel and thought it was A-OK. I don't remember the pretzel being this thin? Though they heavily sprinkled on the sour cream and onion powder, I thought the pretzel was meh. I also wished it had been warmer, which put a damper on the overall taste. Tastes change, I guess. The pretzel of my teenage years shall remain a distant memory. I most likely wouldn't get AA's anytime soon. Or again.

Where do you eat when you're at the outlets? Always a difficult question as options are extremely limited. We went with a sure winner: Auntie Anne's pretzels. Fast, homemade and delicious to keep your shopping strength going to the bitter end. - Soft pretzels ($3.50 - we used a coupon from the Seattle Premium booklet. I can't remember exactly what it was but I think it was buy three pretzels and get a free drink type of deal. We tried out three flavours - sweet almond, original, and the roasted garlic and parmesan. The roasted garlic and parmesan was my favourite out of the trio.

I always like getting Pretzels at Auntie Anne's. For some reason I thought they were also located in Canada. So I found out that the closest one to me is still across the boarder. So came shopping at the Seattle Premium Outlet. Of course time went by so fast and yes I got hungry and didn't want to leave. In the Canadian Coupon book there is a buy one get one free deal on soft pretzels. So I got the sour cream and onion flavor. It was very delicious at first but at the end it got a bit too salty. Probably because they sprinkled too much and everything went to the bottom of the bag. I have to say this is very good junky food. But it doesn't hurt to get one once in awhile.

Rolling up some doughy pretzel goodness!

I came here on a Saturday for the first time because they were giving out Free Pretzels from 10am-3pm! What a great advertising idea! Not only did I get to sample one of their super fresh, buttery, soft and delicious pretzels but I'll probably re-visit this place, which I probably would not have initially tried in the first place! My sister got the cinnamon sugar pretzel, which was such a sweet delight in my mouth. Ultra soft pretzel topped with tons of cinnamon and sugar. I scarfed that puppy down in no time. Beware of the loose sugar though, found it all over my mouth and hair after I done. The pretzels were definitely worth the wait and the tiny mess! Yum!

May 12, 2024. Terrible customer service from the woman at the register. The pretzels were over cooked.

This is our quick stop for bite sized snacks. I love the mini pretzel dogs and a lemonade at times.

I want to first say that my experience there at The Ram was wonderful. Cassidy was my server there…read moreand she was both attentive to my food sensitivities and suggested delicious food to try. She took the time to go over my questions about the menu despite the fact that she clearly had a busy section. The food she suggested was not normally something I wouldn't eat, but she was spot on with her suggestions (ie BBQ Cauliflower I believe). The food temp on the burger was perfect overall and I was very pleased with how the food and service from Cassidy turned out. She deserves these 5 stars without a doubt! I'll definitely come back for the food, ambiance and service and hopefully have Cassidy again next time I'm in town! Now, what I would like to point out here is this.. I overheard part of a conversation with my server Cassidy talking to a male manager on duty that day that I didn't appreciate coming from a management role. Her section was busy compared to other sections in the restaurant, and was asking him with help on getting dishes, but he just appeared to not care and brushed her reasonable request aside stating he was busy and walked away.. I'm sorry, but coming from someone who is in the medical field with some prior restaurant experience, that is not ok, and not how you treat your employees. If you want to make a restaurant run smoothly and reduce burnout and turnovers for your staff, and clearly see that one server's section is heavy or swamped, you either delegate someone in another section to help that server out OR do it yourself. You can take a few minutes to help out your staff as that shows them that you care about your employees and the restaurants success. So please be more mindful of that when your staff is asking something reasonable from you, and that your customers can sometimes see and hear this as well, which doesn't look good from an outside perspective.. From how that manager treats their staff if I had to give a rating would be a 1/5, so please be better for your staff and customers!

I also had fries as a side order and you aren't given a lot for what you pay. The service was fine. Everything went quickly. It can get loud and there are lots of tvs, so it can be overstimulating. Also, in the middle of our meal it got way darker than it had been. No one acknowledged it and it felt weird. Also, it was then pretty dark inside.

During this visit I has a can of House Wine Red Blend for $10 to sip on. For dinner I chose the Works Pizza (#10) for $15.50: red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onion, olives and mushrooms. Quite the tasty pizza. ---------------- This is a cool little brewery right in my backyard. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This brewery is essentially a refurbished hangar so dress accordingly. It's a good idea to bring a sweatshirt or jacket to ward off the chill. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the hanger. Board-games are also available to play while sipping brews. Beer listings are displayed on a nice digital screen. A couple beers have a high ABV which limits those beers to two pours. There isn't really a kitchen; however, simple foods such as sandwiches and chips are available. Waiter service is non-existent. Orders are placed at the counter as well as picked up at the counter (beer & food). My wife ordered Audrey for $5 a pint. I ordered the Back Stabbing Bitch (2 pour limit) for $5 a pint. We both enjoyed our choices. For lunch my wife ordered the Traditionalist Polish Dog with original Tim's potato chips for $6. Can't go wrong with a hot dog. I ordered half a Big JW with a bag of jalapeno Tim's chips for $6. My sandwich was generously topped with meat and cheese and grilled to a nice golden brown. Tasty. We look forward to returning in the near future to slurp on some tasty beer while watching a game.

No, but everything was very good to excellent, and is now my go-to brewery in Everett!

It was an unexpected surprise that made our meal go from good to great! We eat out weekly in Snohomish County and rarely went to the Ram, but we will now eat at the Ram more often because of Lot. It's easy to find good food, but the atmosphere and service makes all the difference. I hope the restaurant recognizes how important it is to have a high quality service oriented employee like Lot!
