Terrible experience at this location. Didn't greet us when we walked in, felt very unwelcomed from the jump. On top of that, never acknowledged us the whole 20 minutes we stood there. I would compare the pizza here to frozen pizza except for the price. They press out dough and sprinkle some prefab frozen toppings on it. They do offer some sauces for you to put on your pie, I'd recommend using it to add some much needed flavor. I have been I the local MOD a few times. The store seems full of children. There was one older gentleman there that seemed very professional, but the younger girls that seemed to be "in charge" were anything but. I sat and ate my food and sort of watched the dynamic. The place was a mess, nobody seemed to care except the man and the girl I heard called Riley seemed very rude to him and unprofessional. I am all for younger people in roles of management but this seems misplaced here. I heard profanity used by the females there and my pizza was subpar at best. Burned and under topped. I was there when a larger group was present that was being incredibly disruptive. I don't even see how anyone could hear customers over that group but nobody seemed to think that was a problem either. employees don't wear gloves when preparing food for the customers. We had to ask for the employee to wear gloves when preparing our pizza. I even saw the cook (person who takes the pizza in and out of the oven) touch pizzas with his bare hands to lift it off of the large spatula they use to cook with. We were told the manager told them not to wear gloves due to an incident that caught a plastic glove on fire. Employees should be wearing gloves and switching them out between orders. read more

Trying to order food, ordered ahead of time and got a confirmation number and a set time but whenever we try to pick up our food they keep saying another 15 minutes another 15 minutes. This made me late for work and it was a great inconvenience. Next time put the actual ready time for the pizza to be picked up not keep pushing 15 minutes. Nothing FAST about this place. My husband and I went on a Saturday around 1:30pm. There was 3 groups (only 6 pizzas) ahead of us. We waited in line for 15 minutes. When we finally got to the front of the line, the gal behind the counter took a phone order and said she would be with us after she made the pizza. I understand you have to work the phone orders into the line. However, when you've been waiting in line for 15 minutes and a phone call that didn't have to wait AT ALL gets priority... sucks! I've been to many MOD pizzas. The service is fast at every other location I've been to. But this place is painful!!! There is NO URGENCY!!! The process it takes them to make pizzas, is like watching paint dry. I have all the patience in the world when it comes to customer service, I've worked in the industry so I get it. It really takes a long time for me to lose patience. But the amount of time it took to get to the front of the line was ridiculous. My husband's take was on point; he said it was like they were doing arts & crafts. They took too much time to perfectly space out the pepperoni and other toppings, rather than get the line down and just pump out the pizzas! After the gal took the phone order in front of us, we had had enough. My husband saw Jimmy Johns outside the window and said "I'm tempted to just ditch this place and get a sandwich." After seeing how long it took to prepare the pizzas, I didn't need any convincing. I said yeah, I'm over it. We left. It shouldn't take 5 minutes to prepare each pizza. MOD is supposed to be "Super Fast".... But this location is ridiculously slow. The amount of time it took us to cross the street and get sandwiches, order and eat....I guarantee we wouldn't have even paid for pizzas at that point. My first time at MOD and it was delicious. My girl (a regular MOD patron) ordered me a mega dough personalized + 2 fountain drinks for around $20. We both ate 2 pieces each with 2 left to go! I went to this Mod as it is somewhat near my house and my kids were at my throat about having "Pizza Friday." Apparently that's a thing now at my house. At least if you ask my three year old. I digress... So the place was busy as heck. Door Dashers and Uber Eats folks stalking the counter. But we got through the line in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered three pizzas and we ended up getting two of them. They had one person packaging things coming out of the oven and my best guess is that someone local was enjoying my pie. The manager apologized and asked kindly if I would order another pizza and she would give me a second for free. Good resolution to a hungry belly for sure! Anyway, the place was very clean and all staff wore masks. Social distancing was encouraged with stickers on the floor while you stand in line. Also the tables are spaces approximately. Overall I was happy with our meal, but even more happy at how they handled my little snafu. We will be back. read more

Love this place. Have been a mod customer for years and so thankful for the Marysville branch. Mod now makes their own chocolate cake in the familiar aluminum foil and its better than the one that was sold years ago! Smart move Mod! Thanks for making it deliciously yummy! The pizzas here are great. Priced at $8.97. I create my own pizza with my own specific toppings but the mad dog is a favorite. If you are new to Mod, please note you can dress your pizza up for the same price as the ones listed on menu. They serve beer, Fanta (orange, grape) along with cream soda and coke, lemonade, fruit juice and water. If you do not want a pizza, you can have them make you a salad. I've never added a review for anywhere ever and i hate to sound like a Karen, but I have been to this location 3 times and each experience was bad. The staff are nice, but when one employee was grabbing my dough she wore no gloves, and was touching my whole pizza WITHOUT GLOVES, which i work in food service and that is so unsanitary. Next my pizza was soggy and cold?? I ordered TWO and they were both soggy and cold and flimsy and not even cut through all the way. First of all, yes ...MOD is a chain restaurant pizza joint and should be pretty uniform across all locations of this brand. However, the Marysville location probably needs to be looked at for some adjustments. The service and production standards are not quite up to what I would expect from going to other MOD Pizza locations. Hopefully it was just a one off that I waited in the store over 45 minutes (even after placing an app order that told me when my order would be ready) and my food was not well-made. That being said, I have never had a poor experience at the Lake Stevens location, and it is not that much farther away. In my estimation, it's worth the drive to go to Lake Stevens until whatever is going on at the Marysville location is corrected. read more

I placed an order via their website and everything went smooth until the pizzas were delivered. One was completely wrong. It happens, so I called the store for a resolution. I received an automated menu and selected the option with "questions about my order". It rang over 20 times with no answer. I attempted to call three more times that evening and no answer at all. Apparently, they are quick to accept your order and money, but not interested in helping you resolve an issue if they make a mistake. I will not be ordering from them again. :( read more

The ingredients are always fresh, and how can you complain about customized pizzas, hot from the oven? My only knock on this place is sometimes the person making your pizza looks like they're on their 100th pizza of the day and hating life. Don't blame them though as the lines are pretty hectic, and having a hot oven at your back all day would cause me to be grumpy too. This only happens 1/5 times, so only took off one star. Stopped off on the way back home on Labor day. Fortunately it wasn't too busy....unlike the freeways. We always build our own and share it. Regular MOD with garlic rub amd pesto with ALL the vegetables, pepperoni, salami, italian saugage and chicken. A bit disappointed to see they did away with garbanzo beans. For some reason this location has all women working. All the guys had the day off? The one building our pizza had a bit of an attitide and gave me a dirty look for asking for more garlic of all things. What can I say I love garlic...but No reason to cope a 'tude. I love MOD Pizza, but this location is clearly subpar in terms of service. I've eaten at this location twice now, I felt rushed during the ordering process. I usually add only a couple of extra ingredients, but both time at this location they made me feel I was asking a lot and wanted to finish up my pizza. The whole idea of MOD Pizza is put "as much stuff as you want," but I just don't think I get that at this location. I have eaten at two other MOD locations, one in Bellingham and the other in Lynwood, people who work at these locations are very positive, high energy, and nice. If you have not tried MOD Pizza, I recommend you try it. Previously I have dined in, but with the current state of emergency the options are pickup or curbside. My order was completed on time, brought to my vehicle, and prepared as ordered. I appreciate that pizza is made to order just as you request. Mod has numerous topping options., with a few suggestions or build your own. The primary crust option is thin, offering a nice crisp. There are alternative crust options: gluten free or cauliflower. They also offer salads, limited sides, several beverage options, and a ding-don't like dessert option.
