Good snacks that you could make at home, but why? You are in a mall. Have a jalapeno pretzel. Super yummy with a bit of "cheese".

Too busy to bake fresh pretzel.

I asked how long is it been since the cinnamon bites was baked they said not even 10 minutes. So I bought some and when I took a bite it felt like I was bitting on yesterday's pretzel... both employees were busy with their cell phones when I was there.

Friendly staff and great pretzels! Thanks for answering my questions about the New Pumpkin Spice pretzels!

Yum! We hadn't been to Stammtisch since the year it opened (2014, eeeek, now I feel old)…read more But we went again last Friday, and it was such a delightful place to go for lunch. Not crowded, with attentive but chill service. We had a delicious burger (hubby) with a fabulous acid-forward set of toppings; a delicious lentil-and-every-German-meat soup (me, because I am an Official Soup Nerd); a delicious pretzel with dips (us). Chocolate pot de creme for dessert--so rich. It was Strong Bier month, which was really fun. Can't wait to go back.

We happened to come in during HH (weekdays 3-5) so we got a bretzel w/ beercheese of course ($8) and bratwurst served w/ sauerkraut, mustard & pickle spear ($9). The sauerkraut was a tad sweet IMO but the brat was juicy and tasty. We also got the Schweinsaxe (I think?) which was an enormous pork shoulder hunk w/ nice fried crackling skin on the outside & comes w/ red cabbage and spaetzl. Def recommend sharing this big boy. It was good and all but I wish there was a bit more flavor to it than just meat flavor. The only thing for me is I find German beers to all be a bit too sweet for me as someone that likes stronger beers like IPAs but not dark beers much.

Much has changed here since my last review, so I thought I should update it…read more They have expanded the space inside to include a larger bathroom, which is awesome considering they only had one gender neutral bathroom available when we first started coming here. There are more tables too, both normal height and high tops. They've also added a pool table and cornhole, in addition to the original ping pong table. Their menu has evolved as well. In addition to pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers, they've added a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese, spinach artichoke dip and ice cream floats. They have a nice variety of beers and ciders. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We love their QR code ordering system. It helps you get your food faster and you can just pay your tab on your phone. Such a convenience! You can also make reservations online, which is great for large parties. As others have mentioned, it is located in an odd industrial area set back from the main road. It's easy to miss if you're not watching for their sign. There's plenty of parking and a large outdoor seating area during the summer. Their food prices have gone up, and some items seem a little steep now, but that seems to be happening everywhere nowadays.

The cashier (a young male employee) seemed annoyed from the start that we were placing multiple orders. After he entered everything, we realized we forgot to add one more item. Instead of being patient, his attitude changed and he repeatedly said "pay, pay," in a way that felt rude and uncomfortable almost like he assumed we weren't going to pay, even though we had just ordered a full meal. When I asked for ketchup, he pointed and said, "Look right there, there's no more ketchup," in a dismissive tone. It wasn't what he said, but how he said it. A simple, polite explanation would have been more professional. Again, the Pretzel Bite Dogs were good, but the cashier's attitude felt impatient and unwelcoming. I hope management works on customer service because the food deserves better.

It was then I realized the employee who served me was wearing gloves. The same gloves he used to hand roll the dough, touch all the appliances, cash register, handle the cash I paid with, and cards. Over the 10min of watching, he never once changed his gloves. He served easily 10 other customers all with the same gloves contaminated by the cash he handled, cards he touched and all the other things. You can't go from handling the cash register right into hand rolling dough. Change your gloves, wash your hands. On top of all that, the pretzel bites aren't that good. Last time eating there.

Well, first off the location is just a little strange as it seems like it's kind of an a residential type of neighborhood /business area? But really that's not a complaint just an observation. We got there early on a Saturday night before it was crowded which means we had the time to look around and observe how cool this place was. They do have a stage where they can have live music play and also do karaoke. We were there too early for either of those, but it's cool to know that they have it there. They have lots of video screens and TV monitors around where heavy metal videos are being played, which is awesome! Plenty of long solid thick wood tables to sit at for large groups, which is great. Also lots of pub tables that sit high. They also have outdoor seating for those warm summer evenings. They have a couple of pinball machines there which we played after ordering our food. Even a can holder on the side to hold your beer while you are being a pinball wizard. They have lots of their own special craft beers on tap that they brew themselves . In fact, one of them was so good that I bought a four pack of it to take home with me! The service there was great. The two guys that were there were very friendly and helpful. One of the guys' names was Kevin and he was very personable, however, both the guys were really awesome! Now for the good part..the pizza! We ordered two medium pizzas. One medium taco pizza, and one medium double pepperoni pizza. The double pepperoni pizza was hands-down the best pepperoni pizza I have ever had. You could actually taste the garlic in the crust, which doesn't happen with other pizza places. Th Taco Pizza was also fantastic as well. Our family of three dang near eat both pizzas. We had just a few slices left over to take home and enjoy plus the four pack of their specialty craft beer that I bought. We will definitely be returning again!
