Being such, daily variety and quantity is definitely on the smaller side, so arriving early, or calling ahead of time to order what you want is very advisable. As other reviewers have pointed out, prices are not listed, but the surprise after getting rung up was how incredibly INexepnsive all items were. The value is therefore off the charts! The store is clean, modern, bright, and open. Service is extremely friendly, prompt, and professional. Hours are very limited. Parking is abundant. Realized it's been 3 years since I update my review and I gotta say everything is just as amazing as it was those years ago. Pastries continue to be fresh, warm, and the best Asian compliment I can give as they're "not too sweet". Service is prompt and you pick them just like you would at a donut shop. Very clean and modern ambiance. This place will sell out, so I recommend stopping by early. Most Saturdays there will be people waiting for them to open. Advice #1: Get to this bakery 10 min before they even open and wait by the door. Trust me it's worth it & try everything in there glass cases, order one of everything! I got there 5 min before they opened and already saw 2 other people standing by the door, I rushed to the door to stand behind them because I honestly didn't know if they would order everything and if I would even be left with any pastries. Anyways the staff so delightful, and kind-hearted! The inside of this bakery is perfect, usually when a business cares more about the look of the inside you know the quality of there food is pretty low. But you can tell that this bakery kept the look of the inside simple and calm. There main focus is obviously the pastries and I loved that. The Danishes: I ordered one of each because I love cheese Danishes and wanted to make sure I got a taste of each one. And let me tell you they did not disappoint. The filling was delicious in each one and the croissant was perfectly flaky . THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE: I bought one out of impulse and what a mistake. When I got to my car, that was the first thing I took a bite of and let me tell you THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE I HAVE EVER HAD. I quite literally wanted to get out of my car and go back and buy all of them but I didn't because I already bought so many pastries and wanted other people to try just how good this place is. This cookie was literally the perfect taste, still warm from the oven, the chocolate was melting while I took a bite. The best cookie I've ever had, and that saying a lot! The almond & chocolate croissants: Let me tell you what's special about this place, there croissant dough in every pastry they make using it, it comes out perfect. I am not the biggest chocolate croissant fan but these were delicious. Also obsessed about almond croissant and have no negatives to say about these. Raspberry Tart: I will be honest. The large raspberries were definitely over powering, but at these raspberries were fresh and sweet. I would have loved more of the filling to stand out but overall great dessert if you need something show stopping and presentable for a party or brunch. I've only had the snickerdoodle cookie so far but I'm hooked and will definitely be back for more tastes. The very kind woman also gave me a to-go water. The downside of this cute patisserie is the signage. It's too small compared with 5 Guys screaming at you, and the rest in the parking lot. However, once you've had something here, your brain will block out all the other noise nearby and you'll be drawn inexplicably back. read more

I went to Baron for the first time today, but I know it won't be my last! The croissants were beautifully laminated and the tops shatteringly crisp while the interiors were tender and flakey. Good size, very solid & crunchy crust, delicious filling and made me completely forget they only had 3 choices. My regret is I didn't order about 10 of them, including some of the peach ones. Best pastries I've ever had. Each one had me like "OMFG!" I came in one hour before closing and ordered one of everything they had left. The eclair was perfect. I was craving a sweet treat and Baron Patisserie popped up on Yelp! and was just around the corner. I followed the gps instructions to a complex that I visit every so often and didn't realize this gem was hidden away, tucked next to some medical offices. I walked in to a friendly face and someone who looked like they loved what they do. The assortment was limited - croissants, fruit stuffed pastry, and other sweets. I selected a beautiful chocolate "cake" ... I can't remember the name but he described it as a rich, chocolaty, velvety smooth center dessert. It is all of the above and more! I took it home and enjoyed it as an afternoon treat, warmed it for 12 seconds and enjoyed every single bit of it. Saved half for later because it's a pretty good size (3" (ish) diameter). I have visited his old bakery location right by my old work and he always makes the time to talk to you and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. I was super excited that we read in the Columbian he moved locations closer to our home! Well, we came in to his patisserie later in the morning so unfortunately they were slim pickens and I got an eclair/puff pastry. There's a cafe down the street from where I lived in Portland that served the best pastries with their coffee. Then for a couple weeks they were out of said pastries - to be fair, this was during the beginning of the pandemic and we came late in the day.
