Wish it had more toppings!! But other than that it was delicious and perfect for a hot day!

Very fresh, very big, and very delicious!! This spot is very convenient with tons of street parking near by. The black sesame was very good!! The staff is friendly but the desserts took forever to come out! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Limited in door seating as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Taro bingsu (regular size)

This is a good bingsu place--prices seem a bit steep, but you get a good amount. The snow has that great fine texture, but was oddly dry and less creamy than I have had at other places. Another thing that is different from other bingsu places I've been to is that their desserts are quite tall (I prefer a wider, more shallow bowl), which makes it challenging to eat. Also, if you eat the toppings up, you are left with a bowl of pretty tasteless snow at the bottom. It would be better if they would layer in some condensed milk or whatever flavor/topping with the snow in the bowl. That being said, I got the taro and the toppings were very tasty. The topping to snow ratio is too low, but this would be fixed with a layer of flavor within the snow. Service is fine, takes a little while to get your bingsu, but it seems like that is how most bingsu places are. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor is spartan, but it was clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

My favorite is mango bingo, but currently out of season (november), so I got taro and it was delicious! The ube ice cream on top is chefs kiss. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot to get together with friends to hangout and enjoy dessert![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of few bingsu establishments in the PDX area! I forgot the exact name, but I ordered the "Pig __" flavor which is an Oreo crumble and strawberry flavor, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top. The bingsu has thin slices of strawberry laid on it hidden underneath a coating of Oreo crumbs, with more toppings inside the cup. The regular size was great to share between 3 people. I could taste the milk in the shaved ice itself which made it creamier and smooth. On another note, the inside of the establishment feels very humid?

my gf and i came here for a valentines day tasty treat ! there were so many fun options to choose from. we ended up sharing a taro and a biscoff, which were both were super yummy ! we really enjoyed the scoop of ube ice cream, red bean, and chewy rice cakes on the taro bingsu, and the biscoff cookie crumbles and sauce on the biscoff bingsu !

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This shop is very small, so be prepared if you can't find a place to eit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We really enjoyed the Mango Bingsoo as it was delicious and very puffy in texture. We also ordered a red bean Taiyaki that was very interesting as they use a waffle batter for a crunchy texture. The taiyaki was made to order, and there is a thick parmesan cheese-like smell when they are being made. I didn't have problem with that, buy my husband said it was a little strong for him. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, we liked Snowy Village a lot but wish the wait time was shorter and there were more places to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It felt like everyone was fighting for tables/chair space, in result it was not a relaxing visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were glad we get to try it out, but we would much rather stick to one of the Bingsoo places in Beaverton as they are less crowded.

It took us an hour to get in and out of this place on a Saturday night and that's with us taking our Bingsu with us to go. We arrived at 8pm and were getting back in the car at 8:55pm. It was too chilly to eat outside and there wasn't any room inside as there were lots of people standing around or sitting at the tables waiting for their orders. They had 2 people working their butts off in the back, but one was trying to make the Bingsu and the other was making everything else. The place had a white hospital look to the inside. The Bingsu itself was ok. I personally think that it may be a lil overkill with the stacking things on top as I saw someone was bringing out an order and the ball of ice cream on top fell over and they had to desperately grab the top from falling over and place it back on. I personally prefer the fluffy snow on the bottom. They didn't have the sesame so I opted for taro which had a big ballnof taro ice cream on top of the snow with some mochi. I also highly recommend the "light" which is a smallest size, especially if you aren't sharing. Overall it wasn't bad but I don't think I would be willing to go wait an hour again.

    Fruity Pebbles, Biscoff, Taiyaki Squad

The food always looks just as incredible as the pictures online. Although it took a while to come out it was expected due to how busy it was inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wish they had a bigger building because it got crowded quickly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], [[HIGHLIGHT]]also wish it wasn't painted blinding white but the food really outshines all of that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bingsu is delicious, I got the biscoff and it was delicious, I just wish I got more of the syrup! But the ice cream on top made up for it. My friend got the fruity pebbles and it was good as well! The portion sizes were huge as we got the mediums and we couldn't finish them. We also each got a fish taiyaki, the Nutella and the pizza! They were both just as advertised and tasty, just could've used a bit more filling if anything. Overall 10/10 highly recommend.

Guys I'm obsessed. I crave the mango one on the daily. I come way too often. I brave the lines and the waits. I make all my friends come with me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is often packed and for good reason.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope they have mango forever. $10 for ice milk and mango is oddly worth every penny. It's always a delight coming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is usually very full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Absolutely love this place! The fact that they offer dairy-free options is such a win. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was quick, and it's a great spot to relax with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the dairy-free taro ice cream and it was so good; perfectly sweet, super creamy, and I loved the chewy mochi and chunks of taro mixed in. Definitely planning to come back and try more flavors!

Korean shaved ice, or bingsoo, is thinly shaved ice with a fluffy, snow-like consistency. It's traditionally topped with sweetened condensed milk and red bean, but Snowy Village has plenty of options to choose from! We chose the injeolmi (roasted grain powder) and strawberry bingsoos. Injeolmi transports me straight to my childhood with its sweet, roasty, nutty flavor. It pairs perfectly with the red bean and rice cakes on top! The strawberry bingsoo was super refreshing and packed to the brim with strawberries. PSA: Expect longer wait times during warmer days/months--it's worth the wait!

Omg the shaved ice was delicious! The service was great, super friendly and informative with their menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is pretty chill and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend this place if you're craving that fine shave ice that just melts in your mouth. Also try the Mocha, which was incredibly delicious.

Ube ice review I loved the ube foam surrounding the ice along with the foam and toasted coconut. The milky ice and uber at the bottom was awesome as well. This is not a shaved ice place that's half syrup half iced and it's easy to enjoy every bite. Strawberry ice review The strawberry was nice. My girlfriend got it with vanilla bean ice cream. We really enjoyed the combination of the ice and the vanilla bean. I personally liked mixing this flavor with my ube bowl. The strawberry flavor wasn't as strong when adding ice cream, but the bowl was still tasty. Next time I'd get with extra purée if I were to get ice cream. This is not a good place to come if you're looking for desserts under $9. It's perfect to share and would make an awesome date. Will definitely be dealing with shitty parking just to come back and try the mango flavor.

The interior is certainly instagram worthy with a beautiful interior cherry tree as the centerpiece of the interior. The star of the show really is the food though, right? We spent nearly $400 on dinner and expected a much higher level of service and communication. We ordered several dishes, and while most of the food arrived, the last two dishes never came. We waited over 30-40 minutes with no updates from the staff. No one checked on us or informed us of any delay,we had to ask multiple times ourselves. What made the experience even more frustrating was that we noticed another couple who arrived after us. Their food continued to come out promptly, and staff checked on them several times throughout their meal. Meanwhile, we were left waiting, wondering where our food was, with little to no communication from anyone. Each time we asked about our missing dishes, we were told, "Just one minute." Ten minutes later, there was still no food. After waiting so long, I finally asked to cancel the remaining dishes. About five minutes later, one of the dishes was brought out anyway without any explanation. I told the waitress that we had already canceled it, and she simply said "okay," took the dish, and walked away. A few minutes later, another staff member brought out the other canceled dish and told us it was complimentary and that we could take it to go if we weren't hungry. The issue was never about getting free food. I wasn't looking for free food.I brought my daughter here for her birthday because I believed this was a nice restaurant that would provide a memorable experience. Instead of leaving with happy memories from my daughter's birthday celebration, we left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and upset. The lack of communication, poor service, and overall handling of the situation completely overshadowed what should have been a special evening.

It could be what I ordered so decided to give 2 stars instead of 1. Drinks ordered: 1. Sore - super simple, not anything special. Personally prefer more spirit forward drinks. This one was light and seemed watered down. 2. Some Cider - fiancée ordered, it was a cider and simple. Food ordered: 1. Ayum Rujak - good flavor and spice level, quality and cook were terrible. You know when a chicken wing is grilled then left in the fridge overnight as leftover, it becomes wrinkly. Chicken came out as if it was pre-cooked then tossed in sauce. The chicken wasn't even crispy, how could it be fried? 2. Sate Padang - overly strong in the curry and turmeric seasoning used, my fiancée couldn't even finish her skewer. The cook was terrible. It came out as a tough rubbery cube that tasted as if it was cooked well done from frozen. Awful. 3. Emie Medan - I don't even know the purpose of this dish. Shrimp chip, medan style noodles, potato, fried tofu, and then emping (another type of cracker). Sorry, I could be completely wrong but I think this dished missed some identity or cohesiveness. Egg on dish served cold, tofu was rubber and also cold. Sauce is super similar to the sate padang - tumeric/curry gravy essentially. 4. Nasi Goreng Tek Tek - this was probably the best thing we ordered ngl. Simply chicken fried rice with the tumeric/curry flavor. Except in this dish, it wasn't overpowering. Quality of the chicken was horrific though, dry/stringy/small pieces - probably leftovers from something. Overall, I'm not an expert on Indonesian cuisine nor do I eat it often. Excuse me if I'm wrong on how things are suppose to taste and I apologize for that in advance. But I do know how ingredients could be cooked better.
