I absolutely love their Carmel Mountain location, but I hate their Point Loma location. I've never had issues at Carmel Mountain, but I constantly have issues in Point Loma. I've repeatedly had issues with their website, allowing you to book on days that they are not open and their website hours on Google saying they're open even when they're not. I've contacted them multiple times about this, but the issue has never been resolved. I'll be honest this was one of the only places I have ever trusted to do my eyebrows and I had a great experience a handful of times I've been to Carmel Mountain. But they really need to get new management for the point Loma location. I know it is new, but that is not an excuse for how it is currently running. I've also heard other reviews from friends of mine saying that they will show up on time for their appointment and the staff is not there and has been up to 30 minutes late for their appointment. I hope to continue to be a customer because I do love the Carmel Valley location, but I really hope they can step it up in point Loma. I go to get facials so that someone else can take care of me and use their expertise. Anyway, she first did extractions. I counted and she did four... only four. I thought is was strange for a spa that states that they specialize in acne, and I had said that I wanted help with oily skin. Then she put the enzyme mask on and left for about 20 minutes. After that, she returned and did an arm and shoulder massage. It was very relaxing However, I really didn't want to come for a massage, I came for a facial. All in all, I felt that the hour -long service did not include a lot of skin treatment. Amelia made my lashes look STELLAR, even when crusted with eye boogers and surrounded by sweaty, pale skin, swollen lymph nodes and greasy hair.
